Marisa Rudder is an accomplished author however this book falls short. The early chapters are written in a near-academic styling however, lacks citations and evidence for many of the assertions presented; leaving the reader with questions of how much is supported by sound theory versus the authors perceptions and opinions. That's not to say there are no research citations; there are a few scattered throughout yet lacking for many of the conclusions drawn.
There was a tone of bitterness when the author shifted to more of a testimonial story. Specifically, she stated how she was a devout Catholic yet raged when her partner had a wandering eye, later implying bouncing to other sexual relationships before shedding her "religious conditioning" and embracing a FLR role with undertones of cuckolding her partner. While it came off as bitter, the underlying principle is likely true in that these kinds of relationships would be extremely hard to reconcile for anyone embracing the morality doctrines of most religions. Considered revision in this portion of the text may serve to eliminate any unintended tones of regret or bitterness toward her earlier life experiences with respect to her religious upbringing.
Another early assertion was an unsupported generalization that all jealousy was male and genetically ingrained. Several chapters later when discussing pathways to successful and loving cuckold and FLR relationships addressed the need to guard against jealousies of both parties as well as implied in consideration for selecting would-be sexual partners. Again, some careful revision would likely eliminate the incongruity.
Strengths in the book include a sound discussion that to be successful, these relationships require dedication to communication and understanding of the partners. The author did a good job detailing the differences between fantasy erotica and making a go of this type relationship between loving and committed partners. Well done.
The prose is excellent and free of grammar and spelling errors; always a plus in my book.

Reasonable guide

These books from Marissa Rudder are just complete trash. She has no structure to her thinking. She just rambles on about shit. I'm embarassed to say that I purchased the set without first reading one of them. So now I have a set of ebooks that I can't even burn for a heat source. This is just a money grab execuited by titlating male sexual interests. If she actually structured her writign and had a clear purpose to it, it might work. But if wishes were pennies, I'd be a rich man.
