This is the first book I've read by this author and I picked it up because it looked like a quick read. It was! It's short, sweet, and sexy. The characters have backstory and are likable and the chemistry is sizzling.

Emily's a therapist. Dax is a professional climber. This was so good, and really cute. Loved the characters and their personalities. Their chemistry, and connection is great, steamy, and romantic. Loved the epilogue. Can't wait for the next book.

Dax and Emily have each had their struggles and disappointments with relationships and neither of them was looking for anything. Although this is a short story I really liked the characters and the way they were with each other. The story is well written, the characters are believable and the ending is good. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
