Big, Brave, Bold and Blindingly Bright; that's Melody! This is a sweet, sad, and sensual story that you can connect with on so many levels.. Michael Beyer author of Snow Babies. . Mrs Melody Fabricant is the widow of the late Detective Chief Inspector John Fabricant. Over the past two of years, since her husbands untimely death, the DS who had been his junior partner had discussed cases with her, not often but usually to good effect. Now he was here to ask for her help again. Helping the Police, a bit of supply teaching; was this how she wanted to spend the second half of her life? Regular rumpy-pumpy with her sister-in-laws husband; was that what she wanted as a sex life? Besides, when will she be able to find the thinking time to crack the mini crime wave effecting the town? What with the three-day British Summer about to end. From the author of The Uncovered Policeman series.
I was born in London in 1956 and lived most of my life in the south of England.
I ran a naturist resort in Portugal for three fun-filled summers. Mrs Bun decided this was what we wanted to do. We spent two years searching before we found L’Olivette, our little paradise in the South of France.
Teachers always tell you to write about things you know about. So, that is what I did!
During the long evenings of the quiet season, a series of novellas and short stories started to take shape, one letter at a time
The first book in the Rags to Riches series, in which our central characters first meet and romance starts, “The Uncovered Policeman” was published on Valentine’s Day 2016.
Ted has done it again with a new and very appealing story to help normalize naturism. Melody is a powerful female protagonist with a determined outlook and skill at figuring out how to move forward no matter what the situation. She has to deal with life after her beloved husband is killed in a car crash. And, as she finds her own way, she can't help but try to help others too. This is a sweet, sad, and sensual story that you can connect with on so many levels. I recommend it highly, especially if you have any interest at all in the nudist/naturist lifestyle. It gives you a good idea of what it is like and what the benefits are.
First, this time there weren't as many poor proofing errors as previous books. That was a markdown previously. Second, as a naturist, there was way too much sex to suit my taste. I know it was the main part of the storyline, and an "äha!" at the end. So, the Ted Bun skill was well displayed, once again. But, it just didn't promote naturism as wholesome, as I would have liked.
