In this book, the author offers advice and mentor-ship on a personal and professional level. I found this intriguing because when it comes down to it, this is true for almost any career you have. It’s not just about being complacent and going through the motions. Instead, the author talks about setting goals that are your own. There is an encouragement for you to appreciate what others offer, but to figure out what's good for you. I can appreciate the diagrams that were used and the break down on various things. Like assessing your capabilities. What are you good at? How can you improve and take it one step forward? Overall this is a fantastic took that really encourages you to be retrospective, interactive, and really set achievable goals. I also think that a lot of what is shared can be valuable in other parts of our lives.
