A grounded agent. Hmmm, seems like the perfect title.
If you have read the other books in the Agent Zero series and enjoyed them, this one is just as good as the rest. If you haven't turned a page on an Agent Zero book, PLEASE, go back and start with Book #1. Just give yourself some time; you are going to get hooked on Jack Mars and Agent Zero.

Agent Zero is a life "under the sun" perspective on evil and the solution to it. I've worked my way through all the books. Good and evil duke it out in every Agent Zero thriller. Kudos to Jack Mars for never hiding from the evil of evil. The world is flawed. Zero's family is flawed. Agent Zero is flawed. We see it on every page. Zero is trying to stop the madness. He wants to get it right as an agent, a friend, a husband, a dad; but the reason we are on book 11 and on our way to book 12 is that he can't. So the question I'd like to ask Mars to answer is, "Why?" Why the evil? Why can't he stop it? Who can?
This book and this series is very good. I am on my way to the finale!

It is hard to believe that we can already be at the 11th book in this series. This series has had an almost 180 degree turn from where we started and for the first time, we see the entire family playing an active role in their safety. Before, it was Zero, trying to rescue and save his daughters. Now, we have 3 girls who due to the various effects of the happenings in their lives - they are able to think quickly and react in a way that normal people wouldn't even consider. Was I worried about Sarah? Heck yeah. But, I saw something in her this time that just might be the first step she needed to her path for healing. Who knows? Maybe what she had to do will make it worse. We'll see.
Anyway, as hard as it is to picture a 13 year old girl doing the things that Mischa does, when you hear it on audio, with the accent done the way Brian Callanan portrays her.....somehow it works. And the background makes a heck of a lot more sense to me than it did than for Sarah doing what she was doing in prior books...ON HER BICYCLE.....
This was another heart pounding action filled book filled with non stop drama. Who is left to trust? No clue. But, if we have learned anything from the past 11 books.....Zero somehow, will do something. Whether that is good or bad, who knows? But, he will do something ..... and make a mess in the process :)

Now Agent Zero's whole family is being stalked and in danger. While friends try to help and former friends try to pursue them they try to help themselves and each other. Sarah finds herself having to kill 5 men, Maya is not sure who to trust and Mischa is helping Allen try to find the man who killed her mother. Everyone is on the run with one goal in mind, staying alive and eliminating the threat to their lives.
As in all the agent Zero books this was hard to put down at times.

Zero is some hero!
Jack Mars turns them out: Luke Stone and Zero. Zero can do it all though, fly jets, helicopters and solve heinous crimes. He’s a superhero, unlike the guy Ben porter in three books you ought to read.

Jack Mars has done it again - written a page-turner that keeps the reader hooked until the last page, and wanting more. Zero is a retired CIA agent who is always battling mercenaries who want to destroy him, even now when his memory, and life, is waning.

Don’t go this far
The first several books in this series were quite good. I should have stopped after 8. Book 10 was troubling enough with the death of Zeros wife and his daughter becoming a murderer. Add to that a 13 year old former sparrow who was a killing machine. Thought I had gone far enough into the series to finish it against my better judgement. I decided to stop a few chapters in because I knew what Zero would now do and didn’t care anymore about this weirdly conceived family of his that distracted this reader. It is the first book I ever read that I will not finish. I’m disappointed at Jack Mars for taking this to long. It was more painful then the Rocky movies.

Book 11 of the Zero series was one of my favorites of the series. Zero may have met his match in his newest villian. Just when I thought Jack Mars couldn't keep the series going, sure enough he comes up with a plot twist that pretty much addicted me to this installment.
