"Zero Zero" is a gripping and pulse-pounding audiobook that immerses listeners in the high-stakes world of espionage, political intrigue, and international espionage. Jack Mars, known for his adrenaline-fueled thrillers, delivers another heart-racing installment in the Agent Zero series that keeps listeners on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

One of the strengths of the audiobook is Mars's ability to craft a fast-paced and intricately plotted narrative that keeps listeners hooked. In "Zero Zero," the protagonist Agent Zero finds himself embroiled in a dangerous mission that takes him across continents and into the heart of a global conspiracy. Mars's storytelling is relentless, with twists, turns, and unexpected developments that propel the story forward at a breakneck pace.

The audiobook benefits greatly from the skilled narration by Brian Callanan. Callanan's dynamic delivery captures the tension and urgency of the story, bringing the characters and action to life with his expressive voice. His ability to convey the emotions and motivations of the characters adds depth and dimension to the audiobook, making it a riveting and immersive listening experience.

Furthermore, "Zero Zero" delves into the complexities of espionage and the moral dilemmas faced by Agent Zero as he navigates a treacherous world of deception and betrayal. Mars explores the blurred lines between loyalty and duty, trust and betrayal, as Agent Zero grapples with conflicting allegiances and personal vendettas. The audiobook delves into the psychological and emotional toll of the spy game, adding layers of depth to the characters and the story.

The audiobook also excels in its depiction of international settings and political landscapes. Mars's vivid descriptions transport listeners to exotic locales, from bustling city streets to remote hideouts, creating a rich tapestry of sights and sounds that enhance the immersive experience. The attention to detail in depicting the various geopolitical tensions and power struggles adds a sense of realism and authenticity to the audiobook's world-building.

Moreover, "Zero Zero" is not just a high-octane thriller; it also explores themes of redemption, resilience, and the quest for justice. Agent Zero's personal journey, marked by loss and sacrifice, is a central focus of the audiobook, as he grapples with his past and seeks to make amends for his actions. Mars weaves a compelling character arc that resonates with listeners, drawing them into Agent Zero's quest for truth and redemption.

In conclusion, "Zero Zero" is a gripping and adrenaline-fueled audiobook that delivers non-stop thrills and suspense. Jack Mars's masterful storytelling, coupled with Brian Callanan's dynamic narration, creates an immersive and captivating listening experience that will keep listeners hooked until the very end. Whether you're a fan of espionage thrillers or simply enjoy a high-stakes adventure, "Zero Zero" is sure to satisfy your craving for pulse-pounding action, complex characters, and edge-of-your-seat suspense.

Reid Lawson, aka Agent Zero is no longer working for the CIA. He is not disavowed, but neither is he welcome. Those days are over -- or are they?

Zero is a man with questions:
"What happened?"
"What's next?"
"Who am I if am I not 'Agent Zero'?" Most importantly,
"How will I strike back at the assassin who took the life of my wife?"
Zero is a man in conflict.

If those challenges are not enough, Lawson is feeling the bodily effects of the old memory suppressor (see Agent Zero Book #1). Though long-ago removed, it continues to wreak havoc, slowly deteriorating his brain. The prognosis is not good. Zero must get answers to his neurological problem (no small feat when he believes he is the only one on the planet with this problem) . . . and he must find and end the life of Stefan Krauss, the assassin who has so altered his life.

Zero Zero is Book #11 in the Agent Zero espionage thriller. Mars continues his exceptional work of developing his characters. There are plots and subplots and he has us (me anyway) wanting to chase them all down.

You may be wondering, Why is Book #10, titled Zero Zero? Jack Mars provides the clue in the front matters to this book. Zero Zero: Atmospheric conditions that reduce ceiling and visibility to zero; the ejection of an occupant of an aircraft from a grounded stationary position. Tough conditions. Zero visibility. A grounded agent. Hmmm, seems like the perfect title.

If you have read the other books in the Agent Zero series and enjoyed them, this one is just as good as the rest. If you haven't turned a page on an Agent Zero book, PLEASE, go back and start with Book #1. Just give yourself some time; you are going to get hooked on Jack Mars and Agent Zero.

Recommendation:
Agent Zero is a life "under the sun" perspective on evil and the solution to it. I've worked my way through all the books. Good and evil duke it out in every Agent Zero thriller. Kudos to Jack Mars for never hiding from the evil of evil. The world is flawed. Zero's family is flawed. Agent Zero is flawed. We see it on every page. Zero is trying to stop the madness. He wants to get it right as an agent, a friend, a husband, a dad; but the reason we are on book 11 and on our way to book 12 is that he can't. So the question I'd like to ask Mars to answer is, "Why?" Why the evil? Why can't he stop it? Who can?

This book and this series is very good. I am on my way to the finale!

It is hard to believe that we can already be at the 11th book in this series. This series has had an almost 180 degree turn from where we started and for the first time, we see the entire family playing an active role in their safety. Before, it was Zero, trying to rescue and save his daughters. Now, we have 3 girls who due to the various effects of the happenings in their lives - they are able to think quickly and react in a way that normal people wouldn't even consider. Was I worried about Sarah? Heck yeah. But, I saw something in her this time that just might be the first step she needed to her path for healing. Who knows? Maybe what she had to do will make it worse. We'll see.

Anyway, as hard as it is to picture a 13 year old girl doing the things that Mischa does, when you hear it on audio, with the accent done the way Brian Callanan portrays her.....somehow it works. And the background makes a heck of a lot more sense to me than it did than for Sarah doing what she was doing in prior books...ON HER BICYCLE.....

This was another heart pounding action filled book filled with non stop drama. Who is left to trust? No clue. But, if we have learned anything from the past 11 books.....Zero somehow, will do something. Whether that is good or bad, who knows? But, he will do something ..... and make a mess in the process :)

Can't wait.

Now Agent Zero's whole family is being stalked and in danger. While friends try to help and former friends try to pursue them they try to help themselves and each other. Sarah finds herself having to kill 5 men, Maya is not sure who to trust and Mischa is helping Allen try to find the man who killed her mother. Everyone is on the run with one goal in mind, staying alive and eliminating the threat to their lives.

As in all the agent Zero books this was hard to put down at times.

Zero is at his best as he fights to save world peace and his family.

While being forcibly separated from his family, Agent Zero fights for world peace and his own inner peace as his foes line up against heads of state and his own daughters.

Great summer reading.

Loved the book. I didn't like how you strung out the demise of the villain. Overall, I was hooked from beginning to end.

Zero is some hero!

Jack Mars turns them out: Luke Stone and Zero. Zero can do it all though, fly jets, helicopters and solve heinous crimes. He’s a superhero, unlike the guy Ben porter in three books you ought to read.

Jack Mars has done it again - written a page-turner that keeps the reader hooked until the last page, and wanting more. Zero is a retired CIA agent who is always battling mercenaries who want to destroy him, even now when his memory, and life, is waning.

Don’t go this far

The first several books in this series were quite good. I should have stopped after 8. Book 10 was troubling enough with the death of Zeros wife and his daughter becoming a murderer. Add to that a 13 year old former sparrow who was a killing machine. Thought I had gone far enough into the series to finish it against my better judgement. I decided to stop a few chapters in because I knew what Zero would now do and didn’t care anymore about this weirdly conceived family of his that distracted this reader. It is the first book I ever read that I will not finish. I’m disappointed at Jack Mars for taking this to long. It was more painful then the Rocky movies.

Book 11 of the Zero series was one of my favorites of the series. Zero may have met his match in his newest villian. Just when I thought Jack Mars couldn't keep the series going, sure enough he comes up with a plot twist that pretty much addicted me to this installment.
