I really liked this Bible. The NET Bible was a great translation as well as the introduction and meditative exercises were nicely done.

This is a unique bible and translation. The translation is in plain English and easy to understand. It's similar to NIV but to me it's written in a way that is easier to understand. The features in this bible are each book starts with an introduction that really teaches you a lot about the context for the readings, section Contemplate (includes Read, Meditate, Pray, Contemplate), section Picture It (includes Prepare, Picture, Pray), section Engage Through Art (has a painting and explains the painting), section Praying Scripture, section Journal (includes Prepare Your Heart, Reflect and Write). This is a bible for anyone that wants a deeper bible reading experience. It's like a bible study and prayer with in the bible. It's definitely a unique and worthy bible.
