Voices From The Grove: Beltane 2020 to Beltane 2021

Voices From The Grove, Ogham Journal and Diary. consists of over two-hundred pages, and over one-hundred full colour images. The diary section has forty pages, two pages per tree of the Ogham Grove year wheel, with a line per day from Beltane 2020 to Beltane 2021. This issue is dedicated to the goddess, Elen of the Ways, and the Birch tree. The journal includes four essays by the Editor, Yuri Leitch (the four essays are - The Ogham Grove; Your Ogham Grove; Branches of Tree-Lore; and, The Call of Elen). There are two contributions from special guest, Caroline Wise (her essay, Naming the Deer Goddess; and a sacred-magical visualisation for communing with Elen of the Ways, We Rise From Fire and Ice). This book is actually a planner from Beltane 2020 to Beltane 2021 but that is neither here or there. I got it because of the information that was in the planner. This is the first one Yuri has done so he focused on Birch and The Call of Elen. Yuri is an illustrator so the pictures are amazing. He also ask people in his FB group to contribute poems and art.

The second planner Beltane 2021 to Beltane 2022 and deals with the Rowan tree and Brighid. Yuri has decided to start using the ogham trees at our start of the year (technically Yule) not the Celtic new year. Looking at it closely I think it makes more sense to me this method but each to it’s own.

Interesting

Knowing nothing about the ogham grove I found this book and thought "why not" I'm glad I did! I like how yuri writes and explains things. The images in here are beautiful too.
