Sometimes, breaking the rules can be the best decision you ever make.
Being surrounded by forbidden fruit in the shape of four possessive, sexy men is as alluring as chocolate is to my obnoxious cat, Tuddle. All I want to do is lick the seductive taste on my tongue, savor its sensation... Breathe it in so deeply that it becomes a part of me.
Unfortunately, a small thing called ‘my psychotic aunt’ forces me to press pause on all my fantasies. How dare she interrupt my sexy time to do evil crap?
In order to retrieve the only weapon that can kill her and her side-kick monster, I’m thrust into another realm and forced to battle powerful creatures not of my world.
Resisting the compulsion of a beautiful siren, Racing to solve a puzzle while the world crumbles around me, And fighting an unkillable creature... That's nothing compared to facing the determination of the protective men around me, battling for my heart.
Fate of the Demon Fae is a sexy paranormal romance that features a snarky, kick-ass heroine and her obnoxious, movie quoting, british-pretender cat. Combined with three brooding, protective demons and one warrior angel love interest that you won't have to choose between. Will have mm.
Unbelievable. Plenty of emotions going on with the characters. From the beginning to the end, I couldn’t stop reading until the end. Excited to read the next book.
As it got closer to the end, for just a moment, I allowed myself to imagine that this was the end of the series, even though I knew better. After all, it’s only book 2. I am pleased to report, however, that although it is not complete, it does not end on a cliffhanger. For a change. I appreciate that.
Some crazy shit goes down in this book. I love some of the dialogue and found Tuddle to be particularly amusing. I loved it when he said “Yippee-ki-yay, mother focker!” But that leads me to a question. Why did Blayde (and Tuddle) use the term focker in conversation when Blayde was more than happy to use the real word just as easily when referring to fornication. I just found it odd that she seemed to be reluctant to swear at times, but not at others, and I found it difficult to discern the motivation for that.
Now, I’ve mentioned this with other Ava Mason stories, so I’m sorry to say this continues to be an issue, but I wish she would find an editor who knows how to correct verb tenses. The quality of her writing would be vastly improved with proper editing, and since I usually give her 5 stars, that is saying a lot. I am so tired of seeing “drug” used when the past tense of “drag” is “dragged.” I also noticed several instances of “pat” instead of “patted.” Other verb tense mistakes were clearly mistakes, while “drug” and “pat” happened multiple times, leading me to believe that the editor thought these were correct. Google is an amazing aide in ensuring proper editing when there is any uncertainty. Simple ask: What is the past tense of drag? What is the past tense of pat? It’s not hard. Another problem with the editing was a profusion of dangling participles, which I could usually figure out, but this statement floored me: “Grabbing my sword, I jumped to my feet with one hand, while blocking her blow with the other.” It’s so odd, I’m not even sure that it is a dangling participle, but I don’t know what else to call it.
Blayde’s internal dialogue was amusing and I loved statements like this: “Okay, so Queen Slayer was too obvious to use in public, so I shortened it to Stabby…” The plot is action-packed and exciting, but I think Ava Mason missed the mark when it comes to conveying emotion. There’s a lot of saying how much each of the characters cares for one another, but when it comes to sex, that seems to be about all there is to it. To me, it was the small displays of affection, like Maverick and Nix comforting one another, that truly conveyed the love the characters felt for one another. One-on-one interactions were an opportunity to explore deeper feelings and sometimes that’s what they did, but it was also used as an excuse to have sex without everyone there together. The sex seemed more about relieving a physical need than an emotional one. I may be alone in this, and I cannot put my finger on exactly why I felt this way, but there was something about these intimate scenes that made me feel icky, like they were gratuitous rather than the profound encounters I think she wanted to portray. I’m hopeful that the next book will delve more into the emotional connections the characters share and demonstrate their feelings rather than just telling the reader. I do not mean to imply that the actions of the characters did not reflect their feelings for one another, because they did, but I can’t shake the feeling that the physical expressions of their love were superficial. I wish I could give concrete examples, but it was really just a feeling that I had.
Omg I love Tuddle. This book picked up right where it left off. This book had action pack with some one on one getting to know everyone , fighting ,some hot scene and one adorable cat that loves chocolate. This book sucked me into this world and i have to say i loved every minute of it. I have to say my favorite was Tuddle he loved his chocolate and the bonus was he could talk and yes he had a job to do with being Blayde familiar. I love the crossover and seeing familiar people. I love Blayde lollypop tricks . Blayde is still looking for Lennox. She is trying to get the dragons blood to defeat Zara . With the help of Stellan , Maverick, Nix and Rhys just maybe they can save some . Ava Mason out did herself in this book. I cant wait for the next installment. I received an arc of this book .

Oh this one was so full of revelations. It had me on the edge of my seat as I read through this stunning story. I absolutely love the humor that pops up at times. It will have you laughing out loud. Blayde is fantastic. I love her personality and her feisty attitude. She is strong but yet has this amazing ability to be sweet and kind too. The story is full of action, drama, and suspense. I am incredibly sad for Stellan and what happens with him. To find out what that is that happened you need to read the book. The series is amazing and I loved we get to see some information from Lizzy’s books. This is absolutely a must read and it absolutely doesn’t disappoint.
I am so happy this book picked up where the last one left off cause that was an intense cliffhanger. And this book has so many feels and emotions it will shred your heart up a bit and make you feel all sorts of emotions and it won’t give you much of a break. This was so amazing though I did need to take a break a few times from how much this books messed with my emotions. I loved this book so much! Blayde is amazing and Tuddle is still one of my favorite characters of all time. I enjoyed watching the love between Blayde and her men grow. I also enjoyed getting to know more about her and her men. This book had a lot of action. I’m so excited to see what else Blayde and her men will do!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
OMG this book is totally amazing!!! Yet again Mason has sucked me right into this incredible world as we pick back up with Blayde and her men. They are still determined to kill the Queen yet they need some stuff in order to do so. The journey to get it all is rocky one with lots of twists and surprises along the way. Danger, steam, action, emotions, and an adorable yet deadly kitty combine to make an engrossing story you won't be able to put down. Total must read!!! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
There are so many questions rolling through my head about what just happened in this second book. Now there are more pieces to a bigger puzzle. And it seems our favorite seraph has a lot of talking to do. There are still so many secrets and we have only touched the tip of the iceberg. Can't wait to get my hands on the next book and uncover them all!
So worth the wait!! Although now I’m dying for the next book! The tournament was awesome and the finally to it was a twist I didn’t expect coming! Lennox is finally found in this book and oh man there are even more questions to what the truth is now. What is Blayde fate? So happy with the relationship growth between Blayde and her men. I can’t wait for Rhys and her to finally be together! I’m dying to see Nix at his full demigod strength! I’m hoping in the next book we’ll see him getting it back!
Organic interactions between characters. I really like that about this story. Intimate and genuine. Quite a bit different from the usual encounters you read in books with stories about relationships. Often the interactions are unrealistic and unbelievable to the average imagination. However, the seemingly innocuous interactions between the main female character and her love interests are so tenderly intimate it ignites your fight or flight instincts, causing you to blush and avert your gazing attention from the intensity of the interactions.
This the second book in series was better than the first! This author really knows how to pull us in and wrap the story around us! I absolutely LOVE the four guy's and their love for Blayde. One lucky Demon Fae! While she's still looking for her brother she is busy gathering other things that will help her kill Queen Zara! This book took me on a roller coaster ride for sure. You definitely have to read the first book to understand this one. But this is AWESOME!!
No spoilers of any kind included. I thought Fate Of The Demon Fae was pretty dang awesome. Actually I think so far the whole series is turning out to be awesome. So yes I am going to recommend this book but if you haven’t read the first book then I highly suggest that you do.
*An ARC was provided by the author, publisher or a promotional service and I have chosen to publish a fair and honest review*
So hard to write a review without spoilers but let me say this book was worth the wait and while I will wait to read the next one, wait I will have to do as health reasons will keep me away from it. This is the second book in the series and it is so much better than the first book. I fell in love with Blayde and her guys during book one and lets just say this book made sure that the emotional roller coaster ride was even longer. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
The first half of the book read like a love letter to the authors other books and left anyone who hasn't read any of her other work feeling left out of the story. When she finally was done with that, she couldn't keep track of her own plot. There were references to things that didn't happen, and some of the things that did happen were forgotten as soon as the scene was over. If I wasn't so invested in the overarching plot, I don't know if I would have kept reading.
This is a great set up book! The next will be full of action and intrigue. Lennox is a mystery and I really want to know his story. Rhys is the holding it all together guy. He would do anything for his empire and people. Excited to see how these 2 work together and to see how Stellan and Rhys see each other now that he is fallen. Good read and looking forward to more.

Ava has done it again. Fate of the Demon Fae picks up right where book one finished. Tuddles, so much sarcasm from him. Blayde is in for a wild ride, in this one with the search for Lennox. Her journey to stop Zara continues as she is determined to find what she needs. The characters and story get amazing development and movement. I am really excited for book three.
I receive this book as an ARC and I can't be more pleased with it. Twists and turns so take your time and absorb it ALL. Blayde is sexy and has a smart mouth and her men are right there with her. Tuddle is well Tuddle and we love him. Absolutely can't wait for the next book.
This series has all the makings of a great series except for the ongoing gushing of explaining over and over AT LENGTH the depth of the feelings each has for the other. Skim it, it doesn’t add to the story at this point and you won’t miss any important details. Otherwise fun series. Happy Reading
My mind is twisting, and my curiosity is peeking. I knew things were coming, and yet I'm not sure where everything is going. Zara just needs to go. Rhys is prickly and stubborn. Ariana and Lily are a bit of a surprise. Lennox, that's what has me sitting at the edge of my seat
This book is hot. The character development is sizzling, and the evolving relationships scorch. Blayde has some serious task to accomplish in this book, but with her men, anything is possible. Fantastic read, and definitely worth it.
Ava never fails to amaze me with her books. And this one did not disappoint. The crossover was a big surprise and I loved it! I miss Lizzy but omg Blayde and her men are amazing. Can’t wait to finish this series.
Excellent read. I was hooked by the first book and this one was impossible to put down. The charter interactions are wonderful and it has the perfect amount of steam mixed in. Can not wait to devour the next one.
A great continuation of the story. So many twists and turns. Still love Blayde. And I love the guys even more. The book does need to be proofread. There were enough errors that it threw off the story flow.
Book two of this series starts off with a bang and keeps you on your toes the entire time. I love these characters. The author has packed this book with so much action it can be a lot to take. I enjoyed each moment. Great series.
I struggled hard to finish this book. I'm not sure why. I was so engrossed in the first novel. Everything about it drew me in but for some reason I just was not liking the FMC at all.
great sequel to book 1. I loved all of the new discoveries and heartache you go through. Also, getting to know a little bit more about some of the guys was a huge bonus.
