for someone that has family with cognitive impairment or diagnosed with alzheimer's disease, it's a quick read to get into understanding the details of a functioning brain.
I guess you get what it says on the label, but this hovered around a 3.5. for me
It was quite interesting, but felt quite textbooky at the beginning: "here are 10 parts of the brain and what they all do" etc... I skipped that (quite substantial) part
It had a weird mix of going into not much detail and going into so many details where I lost the plot, but overall it was a fairly easy read and a good starting point as it mentions a couple of famous studies done.
It's a short read which is good if you are unsure whether to invest your time or not.
Great findings. Interesting references to social experiments. The author includes relatable situations in which we all conform to social norms. A short read but pertinent information. Overall, a 4 star read.
The book is a fairly easy read and have a few good everyday points that some people can forget in their everyday life. I would say that this bokk is a quick and easy reminder on how people should behave and it got me thinking about my own behaviour.
Even if the book do not go in to deepened on some medical behaviour it is still worth reading.
