Communicating is difficult. Its cool to think about non verbal communication. Some of the suggestions are not super helpful but its cool. Love the Dr. Phil quote.

Improve communication

This book looks at what it takes to communicate well and what makes a person a good communicator. I liked that the book looked at oral communication as well as other forms of communication. Often in the workplace and our everyday lives we must communicate in various different ways, not just speaking. The author then gives helpful tips and tricks on how to be better. I think the advice the author gives is spot on. Also, that it is realistic and doable. I think this is a well done book.

I listened to the audiobook and it was SOO good. Clear, concise, and straight to the point of how to effectively communicate with all walks of life. Being mindful and aware of your words and how it impacts other people. Nonverbal cues are just as important as verbal cues.

This reads as if it was written by a college kid with extremely common sense "conclusions" and realizations. Don't waste your time with this one.

Plenty of useful, ready-to-use strategies in this read! Downside: I disliked the selfish & manipulative undertone in some strategies.
