A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

Morgan by Chris Keniston was sent to me this week and I inhaled it on Saturday Morning! Literally read the entire book in one sitting because I was loving the book. Morgan is one of the Oklahoma Cousins. He has been in town to help “fix up a couple of things”. The family construction firm was always in demand, but finding a way to work and spend time with his Farraday cousins in Texas was always a plus.

Morgan sees Valerie for the first time when she is dressed to the nines just coming into town to meet with his cousin. What a view that was! Valerie was here to pitch a book to show idea, when she realized that the Oklahoma cousins and the ghost town were perfect for a show she could produce. She was sure it was a winner. Now to convince the others. That means taping things and sending in the material. That means long hours with the Oklahoma cousins in a ghost town with weird things starting to happen.

I love Morgan and Valerie together with the mystery of the ghost town, making the book fun, not creepy. I love the Farradays and the town’s people. Each book reminds me of how life is meant to be lived with laughter and joy. Morgan by Chris Keniston was a good read.

I loved going back to the Texas Farraday’s and the match making gray dog. Morgan and his two brothers from Oklahoma are in Texas at their aunts house working construction on some of the family’s business. I love how Aunt Eileen and her cronies play poker all the time at the cafe and get all the gossip. When Valerie comes to town to meet with one of the Farraday’s wife about her book, Eileen and her group are right there! Even though Valerie is a city girl looking to shoot a TV show, she loves everything western. When she meets Morgan and one of his brothers with their construction belts and hears about the ghost town, this gets her thinking about fixing the ghost town up with the Farraday brothers for a TV show. I liked that Morgan and Valerie are attracted to each other even if they seem worlds apart. But are they? They may be more alike than they thought when they start getting to know each other. It gets even more exciting when the ghost does some funny things when they are trying to shoot some film. I love these stories and strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

This one was ok for me. I like the Farraday clan and the town, Morgan and Valerie were meh... as a couple. Didn't really see their connection, but did enjoy them working at the Ghost Town.

Morgan: Farraday Country Book 13 is by Claire Keniston. This is the next in the saga of the Farraday family. This time, it is the Farradays from Oklahoma that are the main characters of the book. The Farradays in Texas have all been married off but there are still a few in Oklahoma.
Morgan has come to Texas to add on an addition to the B&B run by his cousins. They need more room for their own expanding family while still keeping the B&B the same as it is. There were a few other minor things to help with while he was here. The construction run by himself and his brothers is doing well in Okahoma so do not need the work in Texas; but do it because it is family. However, the family here keeps adding on to the list of possible projects if he and/or his brothers would move here. For some reason, however, their Mother has an aversion to this side of the Farraday family and most likely would not like her boys to be so far from home.
Valerie Moore has come to town to talk to Joanna Farraday about an option on her new book. Valerie pitches TV shows and thinks Joanna’s book would be a great addition. She then gets sidetracked to the ghost town that Joanna has written about. Combined with the idea inspired by the handsome cowboy fixing the lights in the café and then a broken shelf, she comes up with the idea for a great TV reality show she knows her sponsors will like- rehabbing a ghost town using handsome cowboy builders! Now to talk the town and the cowboys into doing it. Talking Morgan Farraday into it may be the hardest part.

I am so incredibly excited that the Farraday series will continue with the Oklahoma cousins! This book was exciting, entertaining, and I loved that all the Texas Farradays are included.

Morgan and some of his brothers are in Texas doing some construction work for their cousins when he runs into the most charming but over-the-top city girl. Morgan can't understand his sudden need to protect a woman he feels is way out of his league not to mention she lives in Hollywood and he will soon be returning to Oklahoma. But their paths keep crossing and soon he can't ignore his feelings.

Valerie Moore has produced three successful reality shows but she's been hoping for something different. A new idea has her arriving in west Texas but when it doesn't work out another possibility quickly forms - one that includes a nearby ghost town and the very handsome Farraday cousins. Particularly the very charismatic Morgan Farraday. Valerie wants to make a reality show using the Farraday cousins doing a rehab of a nearby ghost town but how will city girl Valerie adapt to country life? And what's a ghost town without a ghost? It seems something or someone may not want the cast or crew anywhere near Sadieville.

I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.

Morgan is Book #13. Wow! Loved this book. I loved this series. So happy Ms. Keniston has come back to the Farradays...
I can’t pick a favorite in this series, because they have all been amazing. Oh the shenanigans that are in these books.
All are filled with laughter, family closeness, and drama. No matter what life throws this family they are always there to help each other out.
If you haven’t not tried this series out I highly recommend it. I haven’t missed a one.
I will say this in every series Aunt Eileen is the best, throw in the Ladies Afternoon Social Club and your in for a fun time no doubts about it..You can not but love all of them.

Morgan Farraday is doing some work at his cousins wife’s B&B. But when he heads into the diner fixing something for Abbie he literally has a run in with Valerie who is new to town. That’s when all the fun begins.

So buy the books. You won’t be sorry I guarantee.

I love all of Chris Keniston's books but there is a special place in my heart for the people of Faraday Country. Morgan, the 13th book in the Farraday Country, brings three Farraday cousins from Oklahoma to Texas to help with a construction project. A reality show producer who is in town to talk to Joanna about her books finds the idea of Morgan Farraday on a renovation reality show irresistible especially since money for a show like that is just waiting for her to pick it up. Naturally Morgan isn't too excited about the idea but he sure finds Valerie enticing and the Farraday magics strikes again.
The humor and heart of this series carries perfectly into the newest addition to the wonderful, sweet, romantic series. LOVED IT!!!!!!
I requested and received an ARC from author Chris Keniston. The opinions stated are all mine and my opinion is that everyone who enjoys a sweet romance should read this book and this series.

It’s been a while since Chris Keniston engrossed us in a tale of the Farraday clan of west Texas. Her latest love victim is Morgan, a Farraday cousin, who is in town working on construction projects. Valerie Moore is a Hollywood reality show producer who is meeting with Joanna Farraday about a ghost town book that she would like to turn into a tv or big screen project. After running into Morgan literally Valerie’s plans change to a renovation show featuring Morgan and his brothers.

The Farraday series features a tight knit family whose kids (and now cousins) get married off one by one with the help of Grey, a stray dog. Their is humor and a little mystery included. Always a nice read and I look forward to the next adventure.

Another wonderful story in the Farraday series! This family definitely has the monopoly on handsome, hunky men! Morgan is helping family with some renovations and he encounters this beautiful woman all decked out...her name is Valerie. Morgan isn't interested in getting his heart broken again after his last ex, but his interest is peaked with Valerie.

Valerie is a TV producer and gets an idea of a renovation reality show with "hot" cousins as the stars. Morgan isn't interested in being a star, but he would love to pull off the renovations!

Does Morgan give in to doing the show? Is the place really haunted like the sisters think it is? Most importantly, does he follow through with his interest in Valerie?

It was nice to catch up with past characters!

Morgan Farraday
Valerie Moore

Valerie has come to Tucker’s Bluff to talk to Joanna about optioning her book for a tv series, but the producers want her to another reality series.
Morgan is one of the Oklahoma Farraday cousins visiting and doing some remodeling for the Texas cousins. Morgan along with his brothers own a construction company. When Valerie sees Morgan and his brother Ryan she gets the idea about doing a reality series about bringing back to life the ghost town. Valerie and Morgan start seeing more of each other and the beginning of a relationship. Morgan and Valerie are both like able characters. This is a very good book and continuation of the series. I would definitely read more books by this author and this series.

Valerie Moore has been very successful in creating reality tv shows, but her latest ideas have been shot down. While visiting the small West Texan town, Valerie hears about the ghost town and hopes to put the handsome carpenter Morgan and his brothers in the starring roles. Morgan is attracted to Valerie but he has been previously burned by a city girl. I received a free copy of this ebook from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. This book contains romance, humor, and a little suspense. I love how the city girl Valerie fit into the town and the Farraday family. This is a sweet heartwarming romance that will lift your spirits.

If you like books that give you a warm happy feel then “Morgan” is it. Chris Keniston always seems to write books that make my day brighter and happier. Romance with a side order of special dogs is my thing I guess, and Chris always has them in her stories. Morgan and Valerie meet in West Texas while she is there searching for a reality tv series idea and Morgan, a remodeling contractor, is helping his cousin add on a room to his farmhouse. As always, I really enjoyed the story and you will also.

This was another great read! I received this ARC in return for an honest review. Cousin Morgan Farraday, one of the family hunks, (how can one family produce so many gorgeous men?) in Poplar Bluff from Oklahoma. Valerie Moore, city girl, in Poplar Bluff from her reality tv job in LA. Add one ghost town. It’s good to revisit all the Farraday couples and get a hint of romance for the remaining cousins. Chris, you’ve done it again.

This was an awesome book to read, I fell in love with Morgan & Valerie and their love story. I love all the characters in the series, the sisters especially are fun. It was great to be back in Farraday Country, with the added bonus of a mystery in the haunted ghost town. One of my favourites of the series, I recommend this book. I was gifted an advanced reader copy and I’m voluntarily sharing my honest opinion.

Morgan Farraday's story was like visiting old friends while getting to know new ones all at the same time. The pace of the story kept me engaged & left me wanting more at the end. Chris Keniston did a great job as expected considering all her other great books! Highly recommend checking out this book & the entire Farraday series.

Remaking A Ghost Town

Valerie was a television producer who was looking for a new idea. Morgan was a rebuilder/repair man visiting his cousins in Texas. The last thing he wants is to be featured on a tv show by a city girl.

Serendipity!

This is a sweet and clean love story. Not much excitement or steam and very few surprises. Although the story wasn’t my cup of tea, the characters were well rounded and it was a finishable read.

It probably pays to read these in order because I found all the characters a bit confusing.
The matchmaking dog was a no for me, I'm not a big fan of dogs being too human.
Otherwise I found it a bit lackluster.
