Anastasiya I finally submitted to the darker side of Happily Ever After, claiming my throne as the Tsariana. After all, Simeon left me no other choice—all his love or nothing. But it’s never that easy to be tethered to a man who rules a Bratva. No amount of money or power was going to stop what was coming for us the day Simeon claimed me. But if my dark knight won’t save me, I’ll do it my damn self.
Simeon: She’s all I’ve craved since I found her all those years ago. I’ve killed and moved mountains for her love. There’s deception in our midst, and my love for Anastasiya may not be enough to overlook the betrayal. I’m torn between the darkness I was born into, and the woman who I love beyond madness.
***This is the Continuation/Conclusion of LAWLESS and is NOT a standalone.***
This was an great ending to a great story. I love Simeon with his crazy a**. It's hard to give a good review without spilling the tea. I would recommend this conclusion of an great story.
Darn it! I tried REALLY hard to slow down and do other things so I wouldn’t fly through this book in 5 seconds flat it was so good. Just like every single book before it, I just couldn’t put it down! I only read this time, no audible so only a book review to be had. I didn’t think I could love anyone more that Vassilli and Zariah but I do! These 2 have taken that too spot for with characters from her book. I truly loved every minute of it and super glad Asya actually made him suffer. (You’ll know when you read it). That was a real emotional part and I written so well it still resonates in me. The absolute unequivocal passion these two had yet again, turned up the level of H.O.T. I mean 🥵😮💨💦 I thought the books proceeding this were out of control on the spïcy spectrum but day-um did this one somehow manage to deliver even MORE! Yeah, hot AF I had to fan myself multiple times. We finally found out almost all the secrets. It actually seems like it could be set up for a 3rd tbh as we get little Easter eggs at the end and almost a cliff hanger. Like what happened to the castle girls in therapy? Where did Loni go? Mikhail? Are Aysas’ patents dangerousois then? Was her mom in love with her dad or vice versa? Yes so action packed and filled with mystery that I couldn’t get to the “who dun it” fast enough! All in all a super thrilling read that captivated me and would not let me loose. I’m having a book hangover but hoping I can quickly get rid of it with my next Amarie Avant book. My purchase list is getting so long again with all these favorites!!
This was one crazy book to read. At first l thought that Anastasia was a woman every that came into life wanted to process. Have for their own. I thought Anastasia wasn’t treated right by no man.
Luka’s death really effected me. Every time his name was mentioned in this book. I cried tears. I really loved Luka because he was Anastasia’s friend and Brat. He wanted Anastasia to face Sofiya and part in what was done to Anastasia.
Okay, l wasn’t to sad that Kosta met her end. I mean l understand Kosta’s anger over what happened to her. I wish things could turned better for her. But when turned on Anastasia. After tried and tried to make things right her. Luka was killed for nothing. Not tear did shed for her.
Simeon got on my nerves killing everyone who he thought hurt his woman. I understand standing and being for woman. Killing the maid because she run and told Simeon that Anastasia could pregnant. Was a bit much.
What really got me pissed was that Simeon all upset over letter Anastasia wrote about leaving. I can understand being upset at first. But Anastasia came back and Simeon was still upset. Come on Dude and a clue. Plus l can’t believe that Simeon anyone would believe that Anastasia shot and Luka. Really Simeon!!!
Sofiya crazy than any person in this crazy book!!! I guess Simeon couldn’t kill his own mother. I understand stand that l guess. But if was Simeon, l would have let Anastasia shoot Sofiya in the foot. Let lump back home.
Crazy book to read but still a good book to read anyway.
This book is Raw. The sex Scenes are Raw. The murder and torture Scene are raw. The action is raw. The entire book is raw, and I LOVE it!
This book will have you on the edge of your seat. If you haven't read the first book , please make sure you do. That way you can understand the full depth to this couple and their history.
There are so many scenes that saddens me. Its literally everyone against Anastasya. The betrayal literally hits you where it hurts. I didn't know if my heart could handle another one.
But Anastasya, like a true beast, was not one to take a beaten hands down. She fought her way to save those she considers her own, as well as for herself. Even at times when she was left in the darkness and it was her against the world, she was always a fighter.
Simeon is a man who will always be on Anastasya side. He truly loves her and is truly her Dark Knight.
Who said she ever needed a white knight with shinning armor. She really did need herself a Dark Knight. With all the things she had planned I truly don't believe a white knight and shiny armor could've handle it.
Needless to say I more then enjoy this book, and series. And I would highly recommend this to anyone that want to read a change of pace book. Because sweetie, this book is just what the doctor order!
Title: Lawless 2 [The Finale] Author: Amarie Avant Publisher: A. A. Series: #2 Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Five Review:
"Lawless 2" BY Amarie Avant
My Speculation:
I enjoyed this ending for Anastasiya and Simeon. I must say Simeon was quite a piece of work in the handling of his love. I was so glad that Asya was able to do what she needs to do, proving she was back for revenge, and Simeon couldn't do anything about it. However, his Asya was there to tame him with her strength and beauty. I'm not sure of what to make of Simeon's cousin Mikhail, but I am sure something will come of it later. The story was of a very dark romance being so full of 'hot love, action, death, obsessiveness, twisted, and drama' that will keep one turning the pages to see what is coming next. I hated what happened to Luka but loved it when Simeon's mother craziness is finally brought out because she was a piece of work. By the end, we are given quite a journey that I was so glad to see it ended in the way it did.
Amarie Avant is such and amazing writer. She puts her heart and soul into everyone one of her books that I’ve read. She always delivers on her books, it’s never “wham bam, thank you ma’am” there are so many twists, turns, mysteries and excitement in her books. Of course, Lawless 2 fell right along within those categories.
I was 28 % into this book and I felt like I was going to lose my mind lol (in a good way) trying to figure the mysteries out. Ha not that i succeeded, because this book knocked me off my axis.
My saddest moment was Luka. Sofiya did not get enough of what she deserved. Volk and Oleg, ugh...their punishment was a beauty to read Mikhail annoyed the light out of me in so many parts And in spite of everything the Tsar and Tsariana still cling to each other and got their HEA.
5 plus stars to Ms Avant on another fantastic book. I look forward to reading Diablo
This could not have ended any better .I'm so glad that the Tsar and the Tsarina got their HEA,and took revenge on all that deserved it .I will love it if Krill would get a book in the spin off. It was good to have Malich to be there for the Tsar and Tasrina as a kind of father figure .Sofiya punishment was way to easy for all she put Sim and anya through but she has a first class ticket to hell awaiting on her .I thought that chutin end suited him really well I just wish Oleg could have gotten some of the same .This book was recommended by @uniquewords books and after reading the second book I would highly recommended that you do yourself a favor and read this series .Now I will wait for the spin off
Love like Simeon and Anastasiya is once in a lifetime thing, Sim loves HARD, UNCONDITIONAL & UNAPOLOGETIC... don't we all wish we had a Simeon! They love each other since They were kids, rescued her from a life worse than death, and nurture her to "life" , the best he could, and NO one is going to stand is his way. He only existing without her, she is the ONLY one who can stir human emotions in him... she is his heartbeat, his very essence , and the feeling is mutual, they are two halves of a whole, they are each other strength and weaknesses.Their life journey is hard, but together they are unstoppable! FABULOUS!!!
Simeon is the Tsar fighting to keep his Tsarina safe but their pasts catch up to them as they move into what should be their rule of the Bratva and happily ever after. Asya endures more than I personally could imagine but she's a fighter, she grits her teeth and keeps it moving to get back to her love once taken. Simeon does his best to bring his love home but faces many unforeseen obstacles. Their eventual journey back to each other leads to more past trauma surfacing. In the end there is hope and forever love, my favorite kind of story. The Resnovs don't disappoint!!
So I couldn’t wait to see how this damaged couple survived man Amarie didn’t disappoint it was great the ups and downs the banter between Sim and Aysa was great their love was explosive and pure when he thought she left him for a second time and she fought her way back to him only for him to treat her so bad because of a lie was terrible but her clap back was Epic loved the storyline was sad about Luka but was happy that they got their HEA and s/n happy that his momma is suffering with her shady behind
I thought book 1 was the ISH, but book 2 took it all the way home and answered some questions for me.
When I left off in book one, Anastasiya was contemplating on rather or not to learn the art of forgiveness to spare Simeon more chaos at the hands of his family.
But that didn't help.
Although these two tried to make it work, there were outside forces trying to stop thier HEA.
Mrs Avant outdid herself in this Twisted, Dark Lovestory.
Can't wait to see what else this Tremendously Talented Author brings to us next.

Simeon Resnov was law into himself: judge, jury and executioner. As Tsar of Russia, he had absolute power, and as we found out, not even the president of Russia was safe. Simeon had loved Anastasiya since age fourteen, had bargained with the devil for her freedom, had suffered immensely for four years when she disappeared (and so had many others in in quest to find her), and just when he got her back and all was right in their world, she vanishes again. Excellent wrap up(?)!
I love me an Amarie Avant novel...but I really struggled with this series. I read the Fearless series in 2 days, it took me 3 days to finish book 1 and I only finished book 2 because I wanted answers.
The first book was long and drawn out for no reason. This could’ve been ONE good ass book, IMO it did not need to be a series.
Asya worked my last nerve and though I felt sorry for her for what she went through that’s where it ended, I didn’t not like her. At. All.
I would recommend this book, ONLY if your an AA super fan.
Well before I started reading this book I read a review. One said that in the book Sim made her mad but she loved the book. So I said ok... I went back and read the first book then started on this book. Now I get why she said that he made her mad. But I found the beauty in the fact that he couldn't do it. I'm also happy that Antasiysa made him work for it.
I'm so glad Asya and Sim overcame and found true happiness. This was one heck of a emotional coaster. I went from laughing to crying to anger and then back to laughing. The finale put all my questions to rest about this particular set of Resanovs but now I'm curious about characters as well. I have always loved Amarie, she's one of my favorite authors. I'm patiently waiting to see what has instore for us next. #reccomended
This. Book was like Wow! I couldn't stop reading it. I liked that Simeon and Asya finally got their HEA. Sofyia finally paid for her actions towards Asya 4 years ago. Oleg and Chutin be finally got what they deserve towards the end. Simeon finally came to his senses of trying to kill Anastaysia. Boy did she correct him and show him not to mess with her when she shot him on his side. They have a strong and dark love for each other. I recommend this book.
I love the first book and the second book but you left out that Sin cousin Dave her and what happen to the British guy who drug Asya and had her pull the trigger to kill Luka . What happen with him. I want justice for Luka. He didn't deserve to die like that but I want to know how is that no one told Simon and why I feel there is some strings that is lose and going Unravel
I actually loved this book more than the first one, I loved the closure they had dealing with their issues. I could read the 2nd half of the book over and over again when they worked on them without all the others involved. I would love to read about what happened with Malich and if he found love. Great story and ending!
I can't believe you are going to just leave us hanging with questions still! I Love the Resenov Love stories I would love 💘 to see more it's just so many unanswered questions still out. I appreciate all of your stories I guess I'll be waiting on the next one!
I enjoyed this book but I wished it included & focused on more of the info that was in the last few chapters & epilogue. Personally, I enjoyed the Fearless series more than this one. This book focused too much on the last and didn't show much growth in characters. I skipped/skimmed through a lot of this series.
This book had me on pins and needles! I am unable to leave a review worthy of this book without spilling some details. What I can say is there was never a dull moment. Toxicity and dysfunction reigns. Twisted, dark and reckless love abound. Hate and love can take you along way. Trust and loyalty is invaluable. I truly enjoyed this book!
Book 2 in the Lawless series is a fantastic read. It just kept getting better and better. From page one filled with high drama, extra angsty, gut wrenching twists and plenty of WTF craziness. Secrets galore, mysterious turns, big lies, major deceit and sexy AF. If you liked book one, you'll love book 2.
First off let me say that Amarie really outdone herself with this one. From the prologue to the epilogue, I stayed intrigued the whole time!! Sim & Asya brought more fire and passion with book 2. Kiddos for another job well done!!
This book kind of dragged out at times. I still enjoyed Simeon and Asyn story. I hate that Luka had to go. I’m glad that Oleg and Volk got what was coming to them. Sorry Sofia didn’t get hers though.
I'm a new fan of this author because of this series. This love story is amazing!!! We are reminded that no relationship is not perfect. The author added just enough drama, mystery, violence, and great sex. I am ready for the spin-off!!!
I gave this book five stars because it was awesome. Simeon and Asya finally got their happily ever after. I loved all the twists and turns. I am glad that Asya got her revenge. Great job as always Amarie! Keep up the good work.
Lots of suspense in the finale for Anastaysia & Simeon's relationship. Crazy in 💘. Plenty of torture & death to all of the Resnov Bratva enemies. Harsh...
Simeon and Asya. Wow, really some interesting ups and downs in this romance. This book is as dark as the first book. It has suspense, drama, sex, and romance. It does have its HEA too. Read it for yourself.
Definitely better than the first. I enjoyed every moment of ANASTASIYA and Simeon. Especially with Anastasiya need for revenge and the power she took back for herself.
Good ending. Surprised by not surprised at Simeon's mothers, Sofiya's fate. Poor Luka! Volk and Oleg get what was coming to them. Good to see the growth in both the hero and the heroine.
