a love story to Gloucester City

I read this book in one sitting; I hope we see further tales of the heroic fifteen year old protagonists , Renee & Anthony. Courage, good vs. evil, humor , adventure, mysticism, a little magic and lots of heroism heroism are all in play, but without preaching or heaviness!

The novel is peppered with lovable , well drawn characters who surround the two main characters with concern and love. Anthony and Renee do battle with members of violent drug cartels, who travel to the river cities of Gloucester and Philadelphia with the goal of “springing” their kingpin from a life sentence in federal prison. The young heroes do all of this in between the usual high school rites of passage, homecomings, concerned teachers, study and labs.

I enjoyed this book immensely.
