Good daily devotional

This is a really good daily devotional for busy people. Each day is a quick read, with scripture, thoughts to think about and a prayer.

On point

I stumbled upon this book in a very low point in my life. It has helped me navigate through the hardship when my faith dwindled.

Reading this book is good way to spend a few moments of every day immersed in the Word of God. This book was a gift from a neighbor, who apparently knew it was exactly what I needed.

I liked this devotional because it did give me daily scripture to live by. One goal of my last year was to read the Bible every day and this was helpful in that journey. However as far as devotionals go I didn’t find this one extremely prayer provoking. It didn’t focus really on any liturgical season, and my views didn’t always align with what the author had wrote about certain scripture passages.
