Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, I've never been too far from my family. I love reading and when I'm not reading or writing, I'm training and competing with my Australian Cattle Dog, Luca in dog agility. This is a fun dog sport where we work as a team to compete for titles and the only one we're competing against is ourselves and the clock. I live in a rural town in Nova Scotia with my wife, where everyone knows everyone else and stores close at 6 o'clock at night, yeah, you read that right. . My love of mystery, thrillers, and anything to do with crime solving got me into writing, but I love romance as well. I hope you enjoy my books as much as I do researching and writing them.
Talk about going out with a bang— this book is a very fitting finale that concludes this awesome romantic mystery thriller series!! Though it is wraps up Kelsey & Miranda's story well, there's much potential/product for future spin-offs that, if the literary gods be willing, continues with some of the tangential narratives; ie. - #1: Race, Race, Race & Race!!! Nikki's story or even Torres or Deb's past, presents or futures, Aisling's family story… (did I mention what happened to Race?!) Maybe I'll get lucky & my wish'll come true— maybe not… regardless, love these ladies & their journey!!
I must say that this installment to the MacGregor series had me on the edge of my seat! The twists and turns have me begging for more. I’m already crossing my fingers that another book is in progress. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves an awesome mystery that you cannot put down!
I've always liked the intrigue, characters ,and plot in these books, but the editing never improved. The rules for comma usage, and a few other punctuation practices, would make a difference in the quality of the novels, as well as the reading experience.
This installment ties up the series with a nice bow. The mystery of the deaths in Kelsey’s family is discovered. More clues to follow and dangerous situations for Kelsey and Nikki. A satisfying ending for fans of the series.
This last book of the series was very well written, all the loose ends done. I had to force myself to read the 4th book after not liking the 3rd book, am glad I did.
A fitting conclusion to this series. I didn't want to put it down to do 'life stuff'. That's how exciting it was. I kept thinking Mack's cousin was still alive somewhere, but to read her reveal was an OMG moment. The whole book was full of surprises and on that note I can't continue without spoiling the book. Suffice it to 'say' that Nikki has an 'aha' moment. I couldn't pronounce the Gaelic and would have preferred knowing it was spoken than the writing of the language and then the translation in parenthesis. It's a good 'whodunit' read.
