“Allò que realment Ítaca li havia donat era aquell viatge, que perdria en retornar.” (Ho diu fent referència expressa a Ítaca d’en Kavafis).
Una història de traïcions i crueltats a la recerca del Sant Graal.
Sensibilitat, força expressiva, imaginació, canvis de ritme, llenguatge riquíssim… Ho té tot.
Ho conta tot d’una manera molt crua, amb moments desagradables on se recrea. Se nota que juga a ser escandalós tot es temps. A vegades fa mal seguir perquè se posa a contar rollos.
A mitjan llibre pareix que ha de tenir un final apoteòsic, però acaba sent bastant normalet (perq Ítaca…).

Es el llibre que mes m'ha enganxat de l'autor. Pirates, sang, molts paisos, epoques, i tot al voltant de la Mediterrania.
