Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the Goodreads database with this name.
Donald N. Pritzker Professor Chair, Department of Pathology Biologic Science Division and Prizker School of Medicine University of Chicago Chicago, Illinois
My professors could not finish teaching us this book even in one and a half years, though they tried hard.
My class which read and highlighted and annotated the book the whole year struggled to revise it the day before the pathology exam.
Alternatives: 1. Pathology by Alan Stevens and James Lowe (clearly labelled photos, single author's voice unifying the book, diagrams which can be copied) 2. Pathology : the Big Picture by Walter Kemp, Travis Brown and Dennis Burns (concise - not a single word is wasted)
The same authors (and Dr Andrea T Deyrup) have written a revolutionary new magazine-sized book for medical students called ROBBINS ESSENTIAL PATHOLOGY.
This book should be removed from the list of recommended university textbooks so that students will actually get enough sleep the night before the pathology exam.
