Garro came to the Luna system forty years ago and found the human settlers alive. It was a day to rejoice, and every year on this day, they rejoiced, but this year something else happened. The celebration was attacked, but Garro survived, and he knew this was a prelude to something darker. He would go on his quest to find the truth, to see if it was an inside job, to find out if the people had been betrayed.

This was a very short read for me as its fast pace kept me reading it in one day. However, an outside editor could have been used, if not two. I liked the plot with all its twists and turns, and the characters had a good foundation but press a button, and the action was over.

Plenty of fantasy & magic, and it definitely feels like a space opera that is epic in scale. It’s got lots of action & adventure, but this was rushed. I will give this epic space fantasy four stars out of five stars.
