Why did I have to fall for the crazy rich girl? A crazy poor girl would have gotten pissed and gone to a friend's house to bitch about it, because she wouldn't be able to afford to jet off to France to sulk and drown herself in Champagne on a yacht.
Young Adult/New Adult, Contemporary Romance, High School Bully, Enemies-to-Lovers
First Person, Dual-POV
This is book #2 of Dayton series, but it can be read as a standalone. Even though the setting is the same and the characters are interconnected each book has a different couple and their story arch is completed by the end of the story.
Contains issues and situations some may find triggering.
Multifaceted characters, with great, fast-paced plot, fun romance and amazing smut!
This was my first read by both authors and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a good book, but I truly enjoyed and was hooked from the beginning.
Another lovely surprise was to see that this was somehow connected with Black Mountain Academy, a series that I also love.
FRENZIED LOVE!!!

Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers of crazy, love stories!
Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!
Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!
Addictiveness: 5/5 As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked into their story. I loved both characters and became invested in their happiness from the beginning. As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Complex characters with great background stories and good personal growth during the book.
Drew was a wonderful heroine. From the beginning Drew showed that she had backbone. She didn't accept the bullying laying down, she fought back. I didn't mind her mistakes, this is part of growing. I loved how her story arch showed her maturing into a more confident young woman and how Bellamy was a huge part of her personal growth.
Bellamy was an amazing antihero. He was a great bad boy. That boy was sweet and sour at the same time. He was hot and dangerous, but had his moments of easy and cute. I really enjoyed his journey into becoming the perfect boyfriend.
Secondary characters A few interesting characters that I can totally see having their own story in the series.
Villain/antagonists there were a few antagonists in the story.
They were all easy (ok, maybe not that easy) to love, to connect and understand!!!
Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 0/5, background 3/5 buy 4/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This one was ok, but it felt too generic. The guy is hot and it could totally be Bellamy, but I missed a few more hints that showed this cover was specifically made for this story. Maybe a subtitle would have helped. I would probably buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!
Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Amazing opening with an incredible ending. Superb plot, with well written dialogues and intense pace. Great setting, a few really good subplots with unexpected twists. Highest level of enjoyment!
I can't think of one thing that I didn't like in this plot. It was very cohesive, with great pace, good amount of intensity with some funny moments thrown in to create the perfect balance.
Romance: believable 4/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 Some would say not very romantic :). It was explosive! Their chemistry was undeniable and so many great scenes. The break-in was FIRE! Wow! Feverish romance!!!
Writing Style: 5/5 I loved it! My first time reading the authors and only have amazing things to say. All characters were well developed and easy to understand; the plot had the perfect equilibrium of darkness and fun; the romance was hot and the smut had some great description. Work of a wordsmith (in this case, two)!!!
Because I try to be very analytical and I don't really believe in perfection...
Freshness: 4/5 It had the usual clichés of a bully high school romance, but at the same time it was so well written that it gave a fresh vibe with a few twists. As fresh as sweet tea during a summer afternoon!!!
You MAY read this because you follow the authors; you SHOULD read this because you like bully romance; you MUST read this because it was exceptionally well written!!!
