Safe MC stories are rare

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-no violence of a sexual nature
-neither with others after meeting 3 years ago
-older man/younger woman
-no club whores mentioned
-just ok epilogue. It was less than a year out

You make me the happiest man on earth.

Every book in this series that I've read has been so good. Gage just may be my favorite though.
It is so refreshing to have this MC series and not have to worry about seeing CW's everywhere and hooking up with everyone. I'm enjoying this series immensely and hope it keeps going like this throughout the rest of the stories. This was safe with a secret/surprise pregnancy.

Pretty fast pace and some steam.

What do you do when the guy you slept with doesn't remember he slept with you?

Thats the question Roxy has to answer shes freaked out that Gage is going to push her away but when he doesn't and acts all cool shes confused. Seemed he took a pill for his back mixed with the drinks last night and it messed with him (she asked him many times how much did he drink) so he doesnt remember sleeping with her. Ouch. Now there's a problem Roxy has a bun in the oven and the more Gage says stuff the more she wants to keep that secert. I felt bad for Roxy in that type of position with a guy you been crushing on and he doesnt (atleast in my eyes) feel the same and it sucked. Or he does and he's just being a coward. Which I am not enjoying. I wasnt bothered that Roxy kept that a secert she was making sure her heart didn't get broken.

Written well. Safe story. But the whole plot was he was the father of the baby and didn’t remember because of a pain pill and alcohol and that wasn’t my thing.

If wish were... Yeah I know the stupid saying but honestly it's been weeks and I'd hoped I could forget that one big mistake but unfortunately that's not happening and there he is strutting around playing pool and laughing.
And the worst part he doesn't remember.
However she finally realizes that life has just thrown her another surprise and when Gage accidentally hears Roxy talking about her sittuation he's left stunned. But now she's got an even big secret and for the moment her lips are sealed. Nevertheless he plans to be there for Roxy making sure she's taking care of herself but more importantly he's willing to prove just how much he wants her. As the weeks continue to go by the harder it is to keep her special secret but she's also scared he'll won't understand why she kept quiet.

When Gage finds out Roxy is pregnant, he wants to tear the person apart who got her pregnant. He doesn't remember that they shared one night together and Roxy is hurting because he doesn't share the same feelings for her that she does for him, or does he?

This was a wonderful quick read. I liked the chemistry and how the story unfolded. Roxy doesn't want Gage to step up as a father because he feels obligated, she wants him to be involved because he wants to. Great read.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Roxy has been in love with Gage for three years, Gage has feeling for her too, but being twice her age he keeps things friendly but is protective of her. One night she gives him a ride home, things get heated and they make love, Gage falls asleep and Roxy worried that he’ll be weird about things in the morning, leaves. Turns out Gage doesn’t remember their night together, he had taken a pain pill for his back and then had two beers which caused him to blackout after they had sex. She’s hurt and things are a little awkward between the two, which Gage doesn’t understand. He overhears Roxy talking to a coworker about being pregnant, he’s shocked and tries to get her many times to tell him who the father is. Roxy wants to tell him he’s the father but worries that he’ll step up out of obligation, she wants him to love her. The more time he spends with her the more he can’t fight his feelings, they start a relationship and soon he tells her he doesn’t care about who the father is, he just wants her and the baby. She confesses and he’s happy that they will be a family. Epilogue six weeks after baby Grace is born with them spending a romantic/sexy evening without the baby.
I would have liked Gage to have had more flashes of memory of their night together, he has one, but if he would have had a few more it would have been nice. Especially when she confesses, he could have remembered a tiny something especially since that was the night baby Grace is made.

Plot: Gage and Roxy spend one wonderful night together, but Gage doesn't remember (he mixed pain medication and alcohol). When Roxy ends up pregnant, Gage doesn't understand why nobody will stand up and take responsibility. Roxy doesn't want to tell him it's baby though she doesn't want him to do what's right - she wants him to love her.

Commentary: While I understood why Roxy waited so long to tell Gage about the baby, I was so on edge every time he would talk to her about it and every time he wondered about who would abandon her like that. It made me feel so bad for him because I thought he would blame himself for not being there for her. The only thing that saved that situation is that he actually was there for her, if only as a friend at that time.

Drooling!!!

I loved reading this book. I love this series. This book kept hitting on all the feels, and, wow! I so wanted them together, to realize what they had was so real. I wanted him to remember. But, the part where all the cards are laid out, and his reaction, almost made the waiting worth it. Loved the epilogue. It fit this story, just added that little bit extra, to make it perfect for them. Their HEA, their way.

One night he cannot remember and she cannot forget

Gage by Hope Ford is the sixth book in the Heartlands Motorcycle Club series where different authors for the books. This is the story of Gage and Roxy. It is an older man/younger woman with a secret baby and a slow building romance story. Roxy has been in "love" with Gage for years and he likes her but thinks he is too old for her, after all there is a twenty-six year age gap. Yep I was more than a little creeped out by the age gap at the start. Finally one night they spend together but the next morning he does not remember it. She ends up with a bonus from the night but she will not tell him because she does not want him to feel obligated to her and their still unborn child. When he sees something is going one he asks her but she will not tell. He keeps asking who the father is but she is not telling him or anyone. They do develop a relationship and she still does not want to tell him he is the father.
I am still not sure how I feel about Roxy. Gage I wanted to kick in the azz for a lot of the book. Roxy was a mix for me as on one hand I could understand her not wanting to tell Gage he is the father, after all her heart just about broke when he did not remember them being together and the way she has felt about him it was soul crushing. So who wants to be the girl that "traps" a guy because we all know that never works out in the end. But then even when they are together she does not tell him which I did not understand.
This book is well written and has an interesting story-line. The real question comes down to what does Roxy do when the guy that put a bun in her oven does not remember kneading the dough quite vigorously?

I hated this one

I’ve loved every book in this series so far—this one, I hated. It was SO FRUSTRATING pretty much for the entire book. Thank God it was short. I only kept reading for that reason and I wanted to see how it ended.
SPOILERS......

Roxy has a one night stand with Gage, who’s 26 years older than her but she’s always loved him. He doesn’t remember any of it because he was on pain killers and had 2 beers. She gets pregnant. He notices something off with her and he’s concerned. She won’t tell him because she doesn’t want him to feel obligated towards her. He does have feelings for her but he doesn’t acknowledge them because he thinks he’s too old for her and he has no clue that she loves him. He asks her several times who the father is. She won’t tell him. They start to develop a relationship. He again asks her several times who the father is. She won’t tell him. They are truly a couple finally by 75% in. He again asks her who the father is. She “just can’t bring myself to tell him”. WTF??! Why not?!?! She finally tells him 93% in realizing “oh, I guess I should have told him “. Uhg!!! It was SO frustrating.

I read this book in a collection titled, Hope’s Heartlands, so I’m posting the review I made for the collection.

Hope’s Heartlands

This a totally fabulous collection of novellas by Hope Ford.

1st) Saint & Cat: He’s just gotten out of prison and she’s still traumatized from being beat almost to death by her ex-boyfriend.

2nd) Gage & Roxy: While he’s attracted to her he continues to deny his desire for her. And she knows a secret that she has no plan on telling him.

3rd) Bulldog & Kate: She’s a 9-5 older woman and he’s a young hot stud bouncer at the club’s bar, Ride or Die.

4th) Maddox & Emma: She’s the 18yo club Princess and he’s the 28yo MC member that’s secretly in love with her. What he doesn’t know is that she secretly loves him too.

But they way he was just so overprotective of her with guys who got handsy and tried to touch her like suffocating and making me flustered much? Anyways great book jus didn’t like how dumb he was for not remembering yk. I hated how he was like im old enough to be her father bull crap like shut your goofy ass up. Man’s said I love you too her then fell asleep i almost laughed but I didn’t.

This is another wonderful read set in the world of the Heartlands MC and this is Roxy and Gage's story

Ever since Roxy started working at the MC bar three years ago she has wanted Gage but he won't give her any attention What she doesn't know is that he also is into her but at fifty he knows he is far to old for a 23 year old When a combination of pain pills and alcohol causes Gage to have to be taken home by Roxy it is also enough to lower his inhibitions and he finally makes a move but knowing he didn't know what he was doing Roxy leaves before he awakes and he has no memory of their night Now there are repercussions Roxy is pregnant and Gage is determined to find out who took advantage of her. Will this be the thing to finally make him declare himself and what will he say when he learns the truth You will have to read to see

They have just one night together, a night that she'll never forget, but one that he doesn't remember. When she finds out that she's pregnant, she won't tell him who the father is; she wants him to be with her because that's what he wants to do, not out of some feeling of responsibility. This is a sweet and steamy short read, with an amazing woman and the overprotective biker she's fallen in love with. They have great chemistry together, and are headed for a happy ending.

Loved this book. Gage is older than Roxy and he tries to deny even to himself his feelings for her. Roxy loves Gage but he always treated her like a little sister and one night everything she wanted came to pass but Gage doesn’t remember their night together. He had taken a pain pill and drank a beer. Roxy realized after their night together what he did and knows he doesn’t remember. I could not even image how to act or do if in her situation. They both had misconceptions about the other and when they finally come to together things comes to a head in a hot explosive way! Highly recommend this book. I read this book in one sitting as I couldn’t wait to see what happened between them.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Gage is book six in the heartlands motorcycle club series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Roxy has wanted Gage for three years. After one night together she soon realises that he doesn’t remember and she is pregnant.
The chemistry between Gage and Roxy is clear to see and I liked them together.
I loved Gage’s reaction when he learnt the truth about the baby.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.

Part of the Heartlands Motorcycle club series by a collection of authors. this is Gage and Roxys story by Hope Ford. Roxy has been with the Heartlands MC for 3 years and has been in love with Gage since day one. though Gage has always been protective over Roxy, he feared loving her being neatly twice her age. But one night turns Roxys world around when she finds out shes pregnant and the father doesn't even remember. Well written with great charismatic and engaging characters. A short read with insta age gap love and hot alpha overprotective biker!

There's nothing like finally getting your secret crush and he doesn't remember the next day. What can Roxy do? She just keeps going like nothing happened, but something big happened. She plans to eventually tell him, but she knows the much older, tatted up biker is a standup kinda man. She knows he will come thru for her, but she wants it to be because he remembers and really wants her, not out of duty. On his part, Gage is suddenly noticing that she's checking him out and not in the we're friends kinda way and it feels really familiar.

You certainly don't want to miss this one! Ms. Ford has become one of my top 10 must read authors because her stories, even though short, have a depth to them both in character development and story line. Gage and Roxy's story is one of unrequited love, both known and unknown. This is an absolutely awesome addition to the Heartlands Motorcycle Club, I was so happy to see that the authors decided to continue this series. The book has everything that you could want in a book; action, comedy, drama and of course hot, hot romance (it is Hope Ford after all)!

Gage is the VP of an MC. Roxy works at their bar. He has been looking out for her since she started working there 3 years ago. They’ve wanted to be closer to each other but hesitated, not knowing that these feelings were mutual. Roxy wants to be seen as a woman, not a responsibility. I loved Roxy’s heart, strength, skills and independence. I enjoyed Gage’s protective nature, possessiveness and unconditional care. “Gage” starts with unrequited love and ends with a rich, devoted connection between 2 relatable, likable characters!

Hope Ford pens another enjoyable installment of the Heartlands MC series. In it readers follow the romantic journey of Roxy and Gage. Readers met her as a secondary character in the previous books in this series. She works at the Ride or Die bar owned by the club. Gage is the Club’s VP. Gage suffers from pain from past injuries and was on pain medication. After drinking a few beers, he and Roxy hookup. However, the combination of beer and pain medication gave him a brain form and he does not remember it. His resultant behavior crushes Roxy, who already struggles with self-doubt. Nevertheless, their unrequited feelings for each other continues. Gage feels protective and possessive of her. Will they ever figure out a way out of their romantic doldrums? To find out, you must read this book.

Ms. Ford does a remarkable job with her characters, both primary and secondary. They are multi-dimensional and appealing. I like that she continues the opposites attract theory with Roxy and Gage and that she capitalizes on their chemistry. Her dialog and descriptive scenes are rich. Adding the use of a dual POV to let her readers look deeper into their feelings. I admire Ms. Ford’s ability to maximize the effect of these literary devices to make this book an outstanding read.

This is Roxy and Gage's story. Roxy is the female who works in the bar and helps some of the other females. She also rides a bike. Roxy and Gage's had a one night stand. However, Gage doesn't remember it and now Roxy is pregnant. It is interesting to read about how now Gage is interested in Roxy when he believes she is unavailable. The chemistry between the two is seen by everyone else in Heartlands MC but for Gage. It is a short read.

Yay, Hope gave ME and older man/younger woman romance and she threw in an MC and a "secret" baby. It was pure reading heaven for me.

I adored Roxy, she is a tough as nails, fiercely determined woman who isn't going to let anyone relegate her to the sidelines. She is clearly respected by those in the Heartlands MC and she's earned it by never wavering on who she is.

Gage, oh he was yummy and so so confused lol poor guy blanked out on the biggest night of his life. But I loved how protective he was of Roxy and finally made his move.

Thanks for MY book Hope, it was exactly what I needed. 💜💙

I loved this story by Hope Ford. I love this series. I didn’t want it to end.

Roxy and Gage had a passionate encounter only Gage doesn’t remember it. Roxy is hurt by this but she doesn’t want it lose her friend and family. Now she is pregnant and knows that she needs to tell him but is afraid to. She wants him to want her instead of just being there for the baby. What will happen when he discovers the truth?

Memory Loss

Roxy had one amazing night with Gage and he doesn't remember it. Now she's pregnant with his baby but won't tell him because she wants him with her out of live not duty. Gage is not happy, Roxy is pregnant and she won't tell him who the father is and now he can't thinking about her all the time and not just to protect her but to make her his. This book is one crazy ride and good read with a sexy Alpha biker and a tough woman who wants the man she loves to love back.

A fast and sweet read.

A very short and quick read that focuses on the events after Roxy and Gage's night together. And aside from a few character descriptions nothing is really said or done with the MC aspects. That said the book does live up to its description. It's a short INSTA (that was years in the making) with a sorta surprise baby and HEA.

If you like the synopsis and want a quick feel good read with light spice then go for it.

It was a fast and sweet read. But in fairness I don't think I will ever re-read it because it felt like a one time read short story.
