Since I walked away from my rich and royal family and became a house flipper of haunted and magical homes, life was nice and simple. Until I met Byron, the sexy ghost of an incubus... with some intriguing secrets. Now I'm in possession of one of the most dangerous magical artifacts in the world...although I'm still figuring out exactly what it does. What I do know is that I don't want this in the hands of the corrupt magical council.

It's not just me tangled up in this. There is also Graham, another sexy incubus who had no idea of his true origins, and the Sullivan twins, two scruffy and charming werewolf contractors. We're planning to buy Greenwood Manor and find the next artifact before the wizard council does.

But talk about a wrench in the works. We get to Louisiana just to find a rival witch buying the old southern mansion right out from under us! I have a bit of a history with Billie Pruitt, but it seems like she might need us as much as we need this house, so me and my crew will have to find a way to work with her and keep our enemies at bay...

Paranormal House Flippers is the second book of a medium burn reverse harem trilogy!

Helena is good at flipping houses but she is definitely not the most powerful witch. She can only do so much with the little and very sexist education she got when she was younger. And let's be real, she is in over her head with Byron's quest. Whether it's about saving or destroying the world, she doesn't really know where she stands.

It doesn't help that in her entire team of magical flipper misfits, she is the only one with something to lose. She might not be on speaking term with her family and some of them might even want to kill her, but family is family, right? Could she turn her back on them if it's the right thing to do? But does anyone even know if it is?

Like I said in the first book's review, having a non special and relatable heroine is refreshing. But it also can be quite tedious as she tends to paddle more than swim. Helena is not a chosen one, she's barely at the head of a magical team and none of them are ready for what's coming.

Wolves at the Door wasn't as fun as the first book for a while but the pace picked up to make it more entertaining in the end. Characters are added to the original team, few secrets are reveled and quite a handful of sexy scenes spice everything up.

I was excited to continue on with this series, but unfortunately I didn't have as much fun with this one as I did with the first book. (Not to say it was bad by any means! Just my enjoyment factor wasn't as high.)

I can't exactly put my finger on why I wasn't as into the over all book- but as strange as it sounds I think its because I didn't have as much fun reading about this house flip.

Billie was introduced- at first as a rival buyer and then as a collaborator and friend- and while I liked another female character in the cast- the difference of opinions on how to handle the house as well as how to deal with Pandora's box caused a bit of discord and friction in the story that made the plot a bit less exciting to read.

description

Instead of reading about the progress going on in the build, the romance, and the magical plot- everyone felt a bit frustrated in this one. Helena not knowing what to do with her life or relationships- Graham not knowing where he fits in- Byron still not being able to say much, and the brothers trying to keep their hats in the ring made me want to jump right to the next book for some resolution.

That might not be fair to say because obviously these characters are going to have growing pains (not to mention they are possibly starting a revolution) but hopefully in the next one I will feel a bit more connected to the story!

This book was ok, not as fun and exciting as book one IMO. Helena loses out on house two but ends up working with old rival Billie to restore it. It’s essentially a mansion in size and so once again I did love the home improvement side of things. Aside from that everything felt a bit choppy, like scenes thrown together of her and one of her guys minus a lot of relationship development I’d expect at this point in the series. Once again Helena’s shitty cousin pops in, this time to break some of Graham’s bones, I mean really, is it wrong to hope this guy gets vaporized. I hate how the ‘council’ is basically some form of hierarchal government that only certain people of a special caliber can join and once in can use their power in any ways they see fit. The council is the judge and jury and no one can argue that. Obviously no one should have this kind of easily abused power, certainly not those with powerful magic. I get why Billie wants to wipe out the council, I second that and hope they do. Things are on board for the next house and the last book. Curious how it will all play out. I really hope the magic from book one returns again, I didn’t get sucked in to this one as I hoped and honestly apart from a few standout scenes not much happens in the book. Graham is out of politics though so maybe now I can finally like him 😂😂🤣🤣

I hardly give 1 star to books, unless there is something I truly hated. However, I REALLY didn't enjoy this book, so 1 star.

The first book has so much potential! Royal witch who has ditched her cold, manipulative family flipping houses with her own bare hands. She meets a couple sexy twin wolves, a sexy and mysterious dead incubus and an unaware yet relatable 1/4 incubus. She's strong, making a life for herself, caring, with the potential to be a powerful force.

But his book was just a bunch of filler. The house flipping was light and interesting in the first one, but this one was ALL about fixing this monstrosity of a manor, everyone arguing about their different ideas and opinions. And some sex thrown in, like the author suddenly remembered this was about a witch in a RH romance. I skimmed the last sex scene with the twin werewolf brothers.

Also, I tried to not let it bother me in the beginning (when I still cared what was happening in the story), but there is A LOT of mention of the guys' experience with other women. We do get the males' perspective in some chapters and there are plenty of inner monologues that start with "I had felt this attraction to other women, but..." "I had had plenty of girlfriends/partners...". The wolves reasons for liking Helena aren't great. They basically like her because she is royal but doesn't want to be. She's a princess (duchess? whatever) who isn't afraid to get dirty fixing houses. A good reason to find someone interesting but to base a whole polyamorous relationship on? Not feeling it.

Graham was my favorite character by far. He was raised human and he handles the truth so fluidly and endearingly? His arc is believable and I'm rooting for his happiness.

Byron, the dead incubi/other, was interesting in the first book. He was guarded and slightly awkward. But he's just this riddle-speaking, powerful entity in this one. He got one chapter and otherwise seemed like a side character.

Billie was annoying. She was a "poor witch" and got picked on when she went to Helena's private school on scholarship. She came off understandingly aggressive when the book starts. Helena sort of picked on her along with the other rich kids in school (out of survival, mind you) and now Billie hates her guts and thinks she's a rich, spoiled brat. But when they get down to actually fixing the damn house, Billie is the prissy little princess who doesn't want to do any hard work and just wants to do her little decorating projects. Screw you, Billie.

Overall, I just don't feel that our heroine is the right heroine? She doesn't feel as strongly about bringing down the powerful witches. She literally just wants to carve her own path and live a normal life. And I actually want that for her. The other characters can keep working on the whole find the pieces of the map and bringing down the magical hierarchy. Even the harem seems weak at the end of this second book. I don't feel real passion or dedication in this RH other than in the house flipping.

And come on! The house doesn't even sell in the end?!

A disappointing book all around.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.

This is such a fun series so far. I just love the paranormal house flippers concept. In this book it's time for another house Helena and her friends have to flip. There are some interesting developments and twists. I like reading about the house flipping and also seeing the romance progress alongside it. And the paranormal aspect. It's a great mix.

I like how we learn more about the storyline involving these house they're flipping and the whole box thing. It's still not clear exactly what the box will do, but I like the hints they get here and how this book tests their dedication to this cause. As well as having another fun house they flip.

I also liked seeing the romance progress in this book. I liked getting to know the characters more and seeing their relationships deepen. The reverse harem aspect starts coming into play in this book and Helena slowly warms up to the idea. I like how this is all dealt with and also how it takes Helena a bit to accept the idea. There also was a fun scene where she talks with her brother Harris.

I really grew to like Graham more in this book, the struggle of him trying to deal with the new revelation of how he's part demon and coming to terms of what that means for him was quite interesting and I liked seeing him interact with Helena. I also liked how we see Bryon talk with Graham and guide him a bit and the unique role he plays with being a ghost and in the middle of the whole mystery. Things also heat up with the Sullivan twins. The whole twins who fall for the same girl isn't really something that works for me as it just feels strange to me. I did like how they knew what they wanted and how different their style and behavior was from the two incubus characters. I liked their work hard and down to earth attitude. They also genuinely seem to care about Helen.

I like how there is a chapter or two from the point of view of each of the guys as it helps get a better feel for them and what they're going through and thinking. There are also two new side characters we meet in this book that were interesting.

While this series definitely can be read as standalone, I do notice clearly that I haven't read two of the series by this author as they sometimes refer to events that happened there. It's interesting how all these series take place in the same world. I might have to go back and read some of the other series eventually as well.

To summarize: this was a great sequel. I liked seeing the new house they have to flip, while at the same time the mystery/ paranormal storyline and the romance both progress. There were some interesting developments in this book story and romance wise. I liked learning more about the characters, all the 4 love interests were developed a bit more in this book. And Helena's romance with them all progresses too and the reverse harem aspect is build more in this book. All in all this was a fun read and I enjoy this series. I look forward to book 3 and seeing what happens!

It's a good read, not one for my favourites but still a good, cosy, cute, witty, spicy, and all-around good read.

The characters are distinct, and their banter and chemistry make the book. It's really all about the house flipping and relationship growing. The save the magic world gets lost sometimes.
The spice is good, and while there is smut...it could do with some work. The smut gets better but could have been so much better considering the relationship for me takes centre stage in the series. It's not bad...it is hot but lacks finishing for me or some detail that could make it lave hot.

The story is filled with action, change of history, and magic. There are lots of wow what, oh dang, awwww he is so sweet, and that's just funny moments.

The ending is nice and is a HEA.... there seems to be more to the familars story, but unless it's really as dark as it suggests, then it could be, I think I am good, not knowing.

Honestly didn’t love Wolves at the Door as much as I did book one but I think that’s mainly due to the FMC having such a small amount of arsenal at her disposal. It was still a solid 4 star read tho!

As much as it is refreshing to have Helena who isn’t a bada** it’s also a little...tedious? Obviously it isn’t her fault that the council doesn’t teach girls spells to fight and protect themselves but at the same time when they’re in a battle scene it’s just like really girl, throw a rock at their head or something if you can’t cast a good spell! I don’t know, that just really started to get to me especially during the final fight scene of the book.

All in all as I said it was definitely a phenomenal book aside from that and I look forward to reading the final book in this trilogy.

Such a fun series. I was a little let down with the twins scene but the scene with Graham? *fans self*

More humor is in play and it's still a fun series - the sequel is worthy to the original. I'll be reading the third soon. Not sure if it's the conclusion of the trilogy or not? I'll have to check out the original series I think this may have branched off from.

This was a great sequal and one I plowed through in a couple of hours in one go.

It's a fun, easy, entertaining sort of a series, that doesn't take itself too seriously, yet doesn't come across as tropey or annoying.

Basically a very pleasent way to spend a Saturday evening!

Well this is still good but if they were longer so that the ideas can be explored more they would be great. The story line and house renovations sort of clash at times. I liked the fight at the end and what came about because of it. I really thought that Billy was a goner the same with Helen's familiar. I'm glad they are all okay in the end. So we have done the second house but they can't sell it, lucky that they got the third house then. As far as the relationships go i prefer the wolves they seem more real and seem to care about her more.

Paranormal House Flippers series is my first taste of Lidiya Foxglove. I watch a lot of the house flipping shows on HGTV and when I read the blurb well it sounded cute. I had a great time with this three book series.

***

Wolves at the Door is book two. We continue our story with Helena finding another house to flip and her friends coming to help.

We get some interesting developments and twists in this novel. The mystery continues to develop and we still don’t know what the item does that they find, but we have hints. We also get another fun house flip too.

The romance is progressing and this is where the reverse harem aspect comes into play. We get to know more about the characters and see their relationships deep’n. We have Bryon who is a ghost, but something else. Graham who is trying to come to terms with who he is. And, then we have the Sullivan twins. I liked how Bryon talks with Graham and guides him a bit. I like the twins a lot. They are hard workers, down to earth and genuinely care for Helen. Helena is slowly warming up to the idea of having more than one man. I like how the author has Helena taking her time in deciding if this is for her. We get a fun scene where she talks to her brother Harris about his relationship. We see she’s unsure and wants to know how it works.

The author gives the reader a few chapters in the guys points of view too. This helps use get a better feeling for them and what they are thinking. I like that we get this POV.

This was another enjoyable and fun read.

I fell in love with the first book, but this one was pretty lacking in a lot of the things that made the first one great.

so first, the good:
I still love Helena, and Byron continues to be my all time favorite! Getting to know the brothers more was so fun, and I loved that they were a little nervous and made some mistakes, it was so cute! The spicy scenes were amazing in different ways, I only wish they were longer haha.

and now, the bad: (Theres more bad here so we are gonna bullet point this out)
-The entire house remodeling felt boring. I was so stunned that the author had made it so interesting in the first book that when we got to it in this one I was pretty let down. There was nothing magical about the house structure or rooms. Just a lot of descriptions of really old or tacky furnishings and how they would fix it.

-The addition of Billy. I was fine with her at the start, when I thought she would just be in a few scenes and then leave, but she's meant to be a new part of the group? Augh. I already feel like we don't get enough time to explore who our four guys are truly, now we have to also give Billy and Ston air time as well? I feel like the story would have been a lot more fun and focused if we just nixed Billy and instead just had Helena hire on a few extra workers to help with the house. That way there could have been more scenes with the guys. I mean theres four of them! Why the hell would you add two more random friend side characters to the mix?

- How underpowered the brothers are. Those poor wolf brothers are hotter than hell, but the entire first two books its constantly mentioned how "claws and teeth do nothing against magic". and then any time theres trouble they either just struggle with the enemies until someone else has time to deal with them, or they just fucking hide. Like how unattractive and useless is that? The power levels of these 5 are so unbalanced. Byron and Helena are the two power houses of the group, Graham is only just learning about his powers, but even then he seems like he can hold his own, and then those poor wolves just are there. I don't understand why the author made them so weak. She's made it so that they honestly are only good at house demoing and building. They might as well be humans.

-The end fight.

- a few typos, and one instance where the wrong character name was mentioned, but thats not too big of a deal.

Book 1 didn't meet my expectations, but I still decided to give book 2 a try. It was ok, and I'm probably going to finish the series, but I felt like the story progressed in a way that still left so many questions unanswered.

Helena and her guys are trying to solve the mystery of Byron's death and of the power of the magical realms. They went for house number 2, but someone got it before them. Now they need to work together to not let the Council get their hands on the artefacts left behind.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Helena has moved on to the second house needed to find the missing map pieces. This one is a challenge because she is not the only one trying to by it. Her Rival Billie (another witch) tops her when it comes to the selling price. At first Hel was upset but then Billie learns she needs her help when the house is so much more then she bargained for. This is a fabulous addition to this wonderful series. Has lots of surprise twists that forces them all to work together in ways they never thought possible. A truly wonderful read that you will not want to put down. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

This was a cute addition to the Paranormal House Flippers series. I wouldn’t say it was as good as the first book, but I’ll still give it four stars because I enjoy the story.

Helena is an ordinary, not so special witch that has abandoned her old life of society and “normal” living to become a house flipper. With her rag tag team of four insanely hot guys, Helena is trying to solve the mystery of the Sons of Pandora and figure out a way to bring Byron back from not-so-dead.

I enjoy that our FMC is not your typical Mary Sue. She isn’t special, although she comes from basic wizard royalty, and just wants to live her life quietly. Because of her upbringing, Helena can be naive to the ways of the world around her and oblivious to the other classes of supernatural’s oppression. Due to this, Helena is on the fence about a lot of issues with the magical world. She isn’t sure if she should dive head first into their mission after learning what exactly would happen if they assemble the ancient pyramid together. Along with that, she’s also unsure about her relationships with the harem. Although she cares for each of them deeply, Helena doesn’t know if she wants to commit to a bond marriage. It was never a life she envisioned for herself. It makes her all the more realistic when she faces these struggles throughout the book and creates a more fleshed out FMC without her being overly annoying or stupid.

The story is coming along well despite the plot dragging a little in this book. It didn’t have the same clear focus of mission as the first book did, even though we all knew what needed to be done. I think that had more to do with how they were going to get things done and whether everyone was all in on the plans to throw their world into chaos.

The guys were so good here. They’re all seriously considering the bond marriage and taking the time to process what that would mean for them all. The steamier scenes were awesome and I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen with the five of them in the last book.

I’m intrigued, that’s for sure. I hope the last book lives up to my expectations of this original and fun series.

The first book was so much fun, and this one did not disappoint! Here, we get more mythos and seeing the flawed system in action. There is more paranormal fighting, more romance, and more house flipping! The group expands here too with the addition of Billie and Gaston (not part of the RH). It was nice to see additional people so close to the RH without being in the RH. I don't see that very often and it continues the theme of exploring how an RH would actually be received. And Harris makes a guest appearance! Helena also establishes sexual relationships with all 4 males in this book, and the steam is steamier. She's starting to accept that this RH is happening, though has decided to not think too hard about consequences/titles until after their quest is done.

The ending got a little choppy for me and felt a little rushed/jumbled (especially with the added POVs), but it just makes it easier for me to move right into the next book. A fun series with strong characterization and creative plot. Lovely.

Tropes: reverse harem; urban fantasy; independent and sentimental house-flipper witch meets 4 supernatural mates; crude language throughout; mystery, action, and conspiracies; characters in peril/near death experiences; worries for familial rejection since they have already disowned her brother; sleep sex; prejudice, racism, and classism; threesomes.

Heat rating: NUCLEAR—explicit sex, indelicate language during sex, and graphic depictions of a sexual nature used to further the story; may also include light kink; not quite enough for an EXPLICIT level (5), but takes it a level past HOT (3).

ONE ADVENTUROUS LANDSLIDE!!!
Wenching witch! Lidiya dropped the bomb and lowered the boom, calling the shots and letting loose all the frills, feels and thrilling spills, booting this gem into a tailspin with a life altering, mind-blowing culmination. Quirky mishaps and funky happenstance, showcase the heart pounding trials and pulse racing tribulations, stumbling through the crazy twists and wicked turns, testing them in ways they never saw coming. Anarchy runs rampant and havoc is rife, rousting the drama, haints, intrigue, spiraling suspense and intense situations, along with a double dose of danger while dodging devilry, you have one mind-blowing masterpiece. The attraction and chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are authentic and original with qualities and traits that transforms into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow smoothly. Remarkable job Lidiya, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Wolves at the Door was both charming and steamy. Although I haven't read the first book in the series yet, it was fairly easy to understand what was happening and why, though I have read most of Lidiya Foxgloves other books and was already familiar with the concepts of the Sinistral and Ethereal realms. I loved that Helena was such a strong and capable female character, yet also allowed to be a real person/witch too and that she was able to admit her past mistakes and have empathy for Billie's situation as well. The idea of attempting to renovate a house to suite a potential faery purchaser was highly amusing, as were the compromises they kept coming up with to keep all the team members happy with the decisions. Graham, Jasper, Jake, and Byron were all hotties, and I liked that they were all able to good naturedly compete with each other for Helena's attention. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and seeing what happens when they get to California as well as reading more about Billie and Gaston.

Good

I recently finished Wolves at the Door by Lidiya Foxglove, and while I enjoyed it, I had mixed feelings. Helena, the main character, was okay—she didn't annoy me, which is a plus—but I didn't connect with her as much as I hoped. On the other hand, I absolutely loved the male characters. The Sullivan twins were charming and added a fun dynamic, and the inclusion of multiple perspectives, including those of the male leads, enriched the story and provided deeper insights into their characters.

The plot, involving the flipping of haunted and magical homes, continued to be engaging. The addition of a rival witch, Billie Pruitt, buying the old southern mansion added an interesting twist to the story. The romantic developments progressed, with Helena starting to accept the reverse harem dynamic, and the relationships deepened, adding more layers to the narrative.

Overall, Wolves at the Door was an enjoyable read with compelling male characters and an intriguing plot, even if the main female character didn't fully resonate with me.

I did enjoy the book, but I think I liked book 1 better than this one. Helena does a little too much waffling back & forth on both the RH/bond-mates idea and the idea of proceeding with Pandora's Box thing other than to help Byron. I was starting to get bored with the back & forth stuff with her, and very little excitement with the 4 guys and the house remodeling. I also really didn't like Billie & Gaston (though his "name" humor was funny at first). I felt like the conflict between the designers on how to decorate was taking away from the book. I was hoping that Billie turning vamp & Gaston being against proceeding, would remove them from the story. I much preferred when it was Helena & the 4 guys against the world -so to speak. I did enjoy this, & I'll definitely read book 3 when it comes out.

Wolves at the Door

Helena has been outbid on the House that holds her ghost lover by her old high school nemesis. As if that weren’t enough drama, when she sneaks into the house and uncovers the magical artifact that the council is salivating for, she gets busted by said nemesis.

So when you can’t beat them, you need to convince them to let you join in the impossible renovation that is sure to be more hassle than otherwise believed.

Throw in multiple men who are all lusting for you, witches who want you dead, renovations that are more expensive than you wanted and you get the picture....chaos is sure to be found!

If you love to laugh and blush, if you enjoy a book that speeds you through your day, then this is the book for you. Join Hel and company as she finds more trouble than she bargained for. You will be so happy you did.

Spin off series.

Best if read in order.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

I liked this one a lot less than the first, mainly because of the introduction of a new character, Brielle. The other characters are well developed and interesting and Brielle just doesn't add anything and adding her to the characters on the quest felt annoying. (note: Brielle is not a love interest of the FMC) Brielle goes from hating to being great friends with our FMC in a matter of days, and is at times super duper confident and at others very much not without any explanation. She has decided she wants to be a martyr for the cause, but her motivations feel weak - and it feels like she just randomly showed up and took away the quest from our FMC. Which - why would I want to read a book where the main character isn't the one with the quest? Some random character shows up and is all "I was meant to do this" :-/

Now Lydia Foxglove is crew from "Wolves at the Door"; has you trapped. From the beginning sentence all the way through too the last. This second installment of "Paranormal house flip" , starts off where book one ends.
Yet moves much quicker !!!!
Action packed, sexual chemistry/erotic scenes most if not all fans. Of Foxglove know if not want are in here. We even get new characters!!!
Plots thicken as do some other "extra manly parts" hint ..wink..wink...
So I don't want to spoil anything you just have to pick this book , up dive in feet first without testing the waters.
You will not regret it... My only recommendation is to read the first book in the series . Why other than being a OCD for things in order ...lol. Doing this will make the bewitchment move over you so much easier...

I still enjoyed the concept of magical house flippers, but it wasn't as much fun as the first book. The harem was more disjointed, and some of the frisson was gone. The new characters that were introduced felt a little shallow, and we never really get into the depth of the relationship between them.

Overall, the story was still very enjoyable, exciting, and I already downloaded book 3 to see where the adventure leads.

Flip Flopped, But this book still came out on top

Book 2 the is about teamwork. They realize that's what they should do and need to work on. Just cause they realize this doesn't mean we end up with sugar cookies at the end of a rainbow by our perfectly remodeled home. There's still work to done together, but its unfolding nicely where you see foundation building up with possibilities. This book is not apart of the "Paranormal Far Academy Romance" series Lidiya Foxglove has, but these characters could really use one of those girls from that finishing school for faery brides to help lock in a home sale here. It's also been a reminder I have yet to finish the 3rd book in that series and need to get on that after I finish this one ;)

It's ok. There's not much pressure and not a lot of things happening. There's hints of something bigger but I'm not sure if I can be bothered to read the last book.

I like the premise of having a main character as a house flipper. It's definitively a new thing for me. But it also serves as an anti-pressure mechanism: I don't believe that they're in a hurry, that people are after them, that they need to quickly need to decipher some book... If she wasn't tied to her job, the main character would have gone from one house to the next to the steal the artifacts. Not wait to renovate them properly first. I needed an excuse to explain why they were moving so slow. Eg: you can only enter the house when the owner dies because their wards failed.

This is the second book in a fun original series. While I didn’t enjoy the house flipping component of this book as much as the first they may well be down to me having to google various descriptions of the house (I’m British and only had vague ideas what a southern mansion looked like).

I liked the fact that Hel was at times hesitant and unsure of how to proceed, she isn’t an all powerful protagonist with a black and white view of the world. She is a much more relatable heroine than most and this book gives voice to her internal struggle between what she thinks is right and her loyalty to her family and upbringing.

One of my pet hates in RH novels is how female characters other than the MC are portrayed, either as unnecessarily bitchy and antagonistic or the best friend who is hastily forgotten about as the book progresses, so I was worried when a new female character was introduced. Wolves at the Door handled it so well, I love Billie, her and Hel have history but both ladies acknowledge it for what it is and choose to grow and move on with their lives.

A fun read and I’m exited for the third book in the series.

Strong second book. Helena and crew travel to Louisiana battling over the next piece to open Pandora’s Box. Billie is introduced into the story as someone that Helena wasn’t nice to in high school. I’ll admit to somewhat agreeing with other reviewers that this book isn’t quite as good as the second. I think more could have been done with Billie in the story as far as their previous bad history was smoothed over fairly quickly. The Sullivan brothers got to Advance their relationship with Helena in this one and that’s why I enjoyed it so much. I am a sucker for some hot wolf shifters. Can’t wait for the third book to be out.
