A crew of six is on its way to the Drake System to do surveying and mining. After they emerge from hypersleep, the A.I. onboard discovers an anomaly in space. As they get closer, it does, too. Soon, they encounter an intelligent entity that is unlike anything dreamed of before. Its relationship to time is so different, that it is deadly. As it persues them, the depths of space become their prison in their struggle to survive.
Dialogue scenes were a bit similar and sometimes unnecessary. Ending was fantastic, I like the little references to some theological and philosophical things as Matt Slick is mainly known through his work in Christian apologetics. Good read, overall an 8/10 based off of my expectations and things I usually read. However, I feel like objectively based off of the best read being a 10, time trap is probably a 6.8/10.
