So far, I've passed all the exams. I've read the books in this series AND taken a video course AND read the practice guides AND read additional study materials provided by the training vendor. Of course, so far, I've passed all my exams, with room to spare. The books themselves are very readable. The concepts are broken down in a handful of pages, so if you only have 5 minutes, you can digest one of the sections. I did find that I'd read a couple of sections then set the guide aside. It wasn't a page turner, but this kind of material so rarely is. It's kind of expensive, frankly, but given the small circulation then that's how it is. After this exam , I only have one more ITIL exam, and I suspect I'll buy that book too. Whether ITIL itself is valuable, I've not gotten a raise by doing these certifications, and no one has offered me a new job because of these certs, but I wanted to understand. I had something to prove to myself, and now I've about exhausted this path. I see value in ITIL, but, like with anything, we can do a good job implementing practices or not. Enjoy your studies, hopefully you learn something. Given how the exam is designed you can probably cram and pass right away, but that's not how I roll.

Thorough overview of the complete service life cycle (now called "Customer Journey"). Fairly hard to get through and not always well-written. A welcome new perspective on the previous approach in ITIL 2011, though. Includes some overlap with the other books, but nothing bothering.

I enjoyed reading and learning best practices on how to drive stakeholder value. I appreciated that there was user story to better understand the concepts presented. This is like a sequel to the ITIL4 Foundation. Interesting take on a very 'technical' discussion.
