Five Years or So: Return to Lighthouse Point: Charming Inn Book 5 is by Kay Correll. Lillian is gearing up for her wedding to Gary. Everything seems to be shaping up nicely; except, Lillian has a feeling that something is wrong or that something is going to happen that is wrong. She knows she has had wedding jitters; but this is something different.
Jay Turner contemplated his life here on Belle Island and is pleased with it. He has a job he loves and works for a boss he thinks the world of. He has total control of the kitchen and what goes on in there. But, best of all, he has the opportunity to see Robin every day. However, things are changing. First, they hired an assistant cook for him, which was needed; but he has a hard time letting her do any more than be a sous chef. He knows she is capable; but can’t let her do what she needs to be doing. That and he was told by Will, Ben, and the other guys he hangs around with at Will’s bar that he has feelings for Robin and needs to tell her. He realizes he does; but is afraid that if it doesn’t work out that he will no longer have her as a friend. He also needs to tell her his secret before they can go to another level.
Robin cherishes her friend Jay and pops in the kitchen several times a day just to tease him. She gets a blow one day when Charolette tells her that Jay feels more for her than he lets on. Robin begins watching and decides she might have feelings for him too. She goes on a picnic with him and they decide they do have feelings for each other. Before they can act on these feelings, life interferes and they are separated again. Can they get back together? Can she trust Jay?
Lillian’s wedding day is approaching and nothing has gone wrong; but Lillian is still worried. Will her wedding go off as planned?

Each book gets better!
This story is chuck full of surprises! The highlight of events leading up to the wedding of Lillian and Greg, and the calm before the hurricane coming tomorrow. The day before is usually a beautiful day here in Florida! I read about the next book and I hope you don't leave Mason and Zoe out!!? And another wedding? Kay Correll,, you're one of my top of my favorite authors!

I've been waiting for this story. I so like the characters and the plot of this book. I was a bit disappointed that more wasn't going on with Jay and Robin except for the distrust issue. A lot of filler like with the dog and Camille making trouble. Looking forward to see how this author ties everything up.

Kay did it again!
I could not put this book down. Such a great story and awesome ending. Ready to start reading book 6 to see how Robin and Jay's relationship progresses. I think I know who stole the money.

I couldn't put this book down!! I can't wait to start the next one. Love the characters,love the setting I can picture sitting on the beach watching the sunset!!! A must read!!!
