With This Secret by Georgia Le Carre is the story of Levan Ivankov and Bianca Russet.
Levan and Bianca meet a few years ago but Levan ended up leaving and she hasn't seen him since. Now in their present day Bianca is informed that she must be given to a man named Bogdan Litvinienko to pay her father's debts. Levan is the second son of Ivankov who is in the Russian Mafia that rules New York. Levan has been working for his father but he has been keeping his eye on Bianca and he not allowing her to go to anyone but him. This of course starts trouble.
This was a very exciting hot read!

I didn't realize this was a spinoff and this book's Maxim was the same Maxim from an other book of Georgia until the last moment. Than I remembered the brother and his fiancee who were about to marry and leave the family business.
Damn...I would have enjoyed this book more if I would have known.
The whole time I was thinking how much I like the hero's brother Maxim and how he is the real star of this book. Sure it was...because Maxim was as well a great antihero in the other book and he was more of an hero in this book than the hero himself.
I liked Levan, he was a sweet guy but from someone heading the Russian mafia in NY I would have expected a more bad ass, alpha hero. He lacked a lot and that made him a tad boring and too smooth for me.
The heroine was completely unlikable. She lacked intelligence, personality and acted childish all the time. I like damsels in distress but with a strong backbone.
I really tried to like this book but I didn't enjoy it as much as other books by Georgia.

I liked this...but not as much as I thought I would.
I enjoyed the story, the pacing and the writing style, but in the end it fell a little flat for me. My main issue was that the heroine Bianca and her stupid behavior at times rubbed on my nerves and I definitely disliked the relationship between the H and his brother, Maxim.
It was good, but could have been so much better… That being said, I’m a fan of this author and will definitely read the next book in the series.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
Levan saw her in the restaurant where he was eating. He turned to look for her she was nowhere to be seen then he sees her with one of the Crazy Russian mafia. Bianca father sold her to him he was a monster who thought she belonged to him. Bianca was in his car praying for an accident so she wouldn’t have be with him the beast. Then it happened so fast the car went flying and she hears gunshots. She was then taken to a SUV and driven away not knowing who her kidnappers were. Bianca spots Levan at the door to the mansion she could not believe it was him at first. The man that broke her heart no so long ago he just upped and disappeared. Levan is trying to keep Bianca safe as possible from Bogdon whom she was sold to by her father. Bianca is staying at Levan house to be safe and she is falling in love with him again. Bogdan in the meantime has kidnapped 2 people and they held for ransom. Bogdan told Levan to give him his property Bianca and he will release the little boy. Levan has a big decision to make about Bianca. Bogdon winds up with Bianca because she wants to free her friend. But, Levan was able to get her away from Bogdan. Things start to really go down hill with the press conference telling everyone about his crime family. Levan could go to jail for a very long time but right now he is in Spain at his fathers house with Bianca and her friend. Levan father wanted him to dump Bianca he called her a gold digger. Things started to get really tense Levan in jail. Bianca father is held hostage by Bogdon so once again she puts her life in danger. Will Levan find Bianca in time or will he show up too late

Bianca fell for Levan and then he just disappeared, now she is being sold to a horrible man to save her father. Can Levan step in and save her? This is a fast-paced second chance mob read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. The chemistry is intense and the story as lots of twists and turns that really draw you in. I liked it.

Secrets are the lies we tell ourselves
What an amazing story! This is my go to author when I’m looking for an intense emotional romance that is just this side of dark. The author met everyone of my expectations with this newest addition to her library. I love how the characters connect, the way they have to decide what each means to the other, and how they struggle to overcome situations that are out of their control. They certainly struggle with the ups and downs, but they don’t let that turn them away from their love. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read about Maxim and how he finds his way forward.

If you like second chance romances, you'll love this book. Bianca and Levan have chemistry that's off the charts but it all came to an end when he left unexpectantly without any explanation. She was crushed as she didn't know that he was doing it for her safety. Lots of drama, danger and suspense in this mafia themed romance. No shortage of family dynamics or pressure from both families. Lots of emotions detailed in this story. Greed and revenge. Georgia has written a great book with an engaging story line. The characters are well developed and likable. A good read that you will enjoy. I read an arc via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review.

Bianca Russet, roughly twenty-four, hates games. The kindhearted yet strong headed baker religiously opens the doors to her bakery at seven each morning except Sundays, without fail, keeping up the tradition her mother began twenty years ago. It wasn't long ago that her mother succumbed to her illness and died, but the bakery was in Bianca's blood and the business kept her mind occupied, so she kept it running. And though her father had been a miserable husband and poor excuse of a father, she never wavered in her support of him, even if he only stopped by to raid the cash register every couple weeks. Still, there is danger. Their criminal father spends much of his time in Spain, where the boys spent half their time growing up. Levan knows in their business it is kill or be killed, and he is prepared to take a life if and when needed.
Levan had wanted a different life. He once dreamed of owning a winery and living quietly. With Bianca. He met her two years ago while studying accounting at NYU. She was perfect and he would have left the family for her, even though it would be construed as a betrayal. He had been carefree then. But something happened that hardened him. He realized that she was safer without him in her life, so he pulled back and disappeared, though she never left his heart.
When Levan comes crashing back into her life, Bianca cannot trust that he won't just disappear again. Lacking self-confidence to begin with, she hadn't recovered from opening her heart to Levan just to have him ghost her two years earlier. When Levan sees Bianca with Bogdan, he knows he can't let harm come to her. And this time he doesn't plan to let her go. But between Bogdan's determination to get Bianca back and the anger Levan's family feels over the trouble caused by his involvement with her, the couple faces great challenges and uncertainty.

Although capable, Levan is soft in comparison to his father and brother. It is easy to see that though he accepted his role, he lacks the edge sometimes required. Granted his youth and inexperience might explain some of this, but his brother Maxim had been dealing with psychopaths since seventeen. Levan's humanity gets in the way sometimes. Bianca's loyalty makes her perfectly suited to him. His love for her makes him vulnerable, but it also empowers him. The couple earns a short but sweet HEA.
Maxim Ivankov, Levan's brother, gets his own book in With This Ring. He is much like Levan, but cold and more hardened. Near the end of this book, there are rumblings of an arranged marriage for Maxim which will unite two powerful families.
Levan and Bianca's action-packed story is engaging. It is well-written. The story is plot driven. There are several moving parts at play as Levan and Bianca work out what they are willing to sacrifice for love. The characters are nicely developed. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Levan and Bianca. I rate this book four stars.

I fell in love with Bianca and Levan right frrom the start! This book starts out with the back history of these two back in college. Due to unforeseen circumstances Levan suddenly disappears without a trace and Bianca was left without an knowledge of how or where to find him. She had no idea of his mafia family background and he made the decision to protect her from the lifestyle. Years later they cross paths in a restaurant and Levan sees her with a evil Russian mafia member and he instantly knows that Bianca is in some form of trouble, that there was no way that she was with Bogdon of her free will. He was correct, her father had actually sold her to him. Levan causes an car accident so that he can get her away from that monster. From there, Georgia Le Carr weaves together a fabulous story full of intense emotions, hearts topping action, danger and drama that eventually comes out with a nice ending. I fell in love with this second chance romance, but that is the way I always feel after reading one of her books.

Bianca Russet is in love with Levan Ivankov and has been for a couple of years. Levan used to come into her bakery and his smile was enough to do her in. But now he's been gone, at least she hasn't seen him for 2 years. Levan is the second son of the Ivankov mafia family, the family that basically owns New York. His father and older brother, Maxim, are in charge of and make decisions for the family. Bianca's father is in debt and Bogdan Litvinienko has taken Bianca to pay that debt, but Levan is not going to let that happen. He's been watching over her for all those years and there's nobody who is going to have her except for him. A kidnapping triggers a war between the two families and what happens next is a dynamic story! Bianca's best friend, Aldi, is kidnapped, but saved by Levan and his brother. It's a wonderful story of commitment, love, living by a code and family. A real surprise is Levan's father and his begrudging acceptance. A uniquely crafted story with tense and sweet storylines as well as characters that are multi-layered and believable!

Grabs the attention from the start. Nonstop action, many spicy scenes and some uncomfortable ones.
Levon and Bianca meet 2 years prior and they both kept things from the other, including feelings. Until a time where Levon disappeared breaking her heart. Now her father sold her to one Russian evil crime lord, but she didn’t know another Russian mafia was watching her from a distance. Two Russian powers fight, one cleanish the other dirty. Which Russian will win? Levon with his plans to keep a war from starting and to protect his heart Bianca or the evil Russian with kidnapping and blackmail and wants Bianca as his flavor of the week??
Will Levon save themselves for their HEA or will Bianca be used and sold off and never have her dream man???

Levan walked away from Bianca to keep her safe. She was so innocent and deserved so much more from life than what he could offer. That was before her father did the stupidest thing possible. He got in debt he couldn't repay and traded his daughter instead. The man he gave her to likes to cause fear and pain just for fun, When Levan sees her with him his vision goes red and he knows he needs to act. The draw of Bianca is just too much to resist. This story moves at a fast pace and will keep readers engaged throughout.
This is an adult book with some very dark adult situations. If this makes you uncomfortable this book is not for you. If you've read and enjoyed other book from Georgia Le Carre you will like this story. The characters are dynamic and there's the deep tortured souls we all love so much. There's also a nice balance between dark romance and your second chance redemption.

Ms. Le Carre did a fantastic job with this book! I had a hard time trying to put this book down because I wanted to know what happened next. Lots and lots of drama and action. Bianca and Levan went through a lot in this book and it only brought them closer; they would do anything for each other. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Wow what an exciting emotional dark story there's never a dull moment. Levan and Bianca have such hard choices to make and is it worth the danger as they reconnect going up agains the mafia family and the enemies that want to destroy them.
The writing is fantastic and very descriptive and sucks you right in oh and I loved seeing the intense Maxim make his appearance.

With This Secret by Georgia Le Carre. Heart-poundingly great story! I enjoyed the author’s attention to detail and storytelling. This story is filled with dark drama, strong characters, sexy scenes and vividly detailed descriptions. I recommend this to others looking for something edgy and different. This was a dark, intense, emotional, mafia read that was so compelling I just sat and read the entire book in one sitting. Bianca and Levan had a strong connection in the past but Levan broke the connection for her sake. He truly loved her but was unwilling to involve her in his role as a mafia heir. Now she was involved with another mafia man, one of his enemies who hurt her and throw her away like many others before her. His attempt to save her involved the lives of many other innocent people, and yet he had no remorse because he would do anything to save her.

Bianca and Ivan met years ago through her father. Now years later, Bianca is told she must marry an old man to save her father from being tortured and killed by his henchmen. Ivan disappeared from Bianca's life to protect her. He never forgot about her and now he will save her. He also will make Bianca his for life.

My first book of the year and first book by this author.
One of my favorite reads is mafia and I found this lacking the mafia aspect...I did like it but,it was kinda slow and dare I say boring, I feel so bad saying that I'm sure most will like it, it was good just not what I was expecting.. I don't know if I will continue with the brother book.

This is Levan's story brother from with this ring. He kidnaps Bianca who is marring a bad man. Both of these two people have feelings for each other. and the things that happen to them. I loved this book and this author is so good at writing stories. I believe anyone would love this book. I voluntary received for a honest review.

One of the best things about this story is that Bianca and Levan never doubted their love for each other. Their willingness to do the unthinkable for love of the other was a model of loyalty beyond comprehension! The way Levan denied himself for years after her long confession of love all to save her from becoming involved in the Bratva life he was born into but then without consideration of all the risks, jumps in to save her from a two-bit Russian mob boss. And this plot of how they work through all that's thrown at him and his family makes great reading!

This author is new to me and I'm so glad that I read this. I'm a sucker for mafia romances and this one blew me away. A rollercoaster of a ride reading this and I loved it. Amazing and I cant wait to read more.

Oh my gosh Georgia Le Carre, you are so amazing! I have been hoping that Levan would get his story since reading about him in With This Ring and he did not disappoint! Levan and Bianca are so perfect for each other. They've both loved each other for so long, but she didn't know how he felt and he thought he was doing what was best for her by staying away. A seriously demented man and a weak father throw them together and the result is a sexy and exciting read for us! Great job, once again, Ms. Le Carre, you absolutely never cease to amaze me with your fabulous stories! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I liked it. Bianca is a normal chick who gets sold to the scary bad guy to pay for her father’s big debt. While out after accepting her fate with Mr. Scary Bad Guy she gets spotted by her crush, Levan. Levan is apart of a Russian Mafia family. He sees Bianca and knows he has to have what he walked away from. It’s filled with lots of action, car accidents, crazy bad guys and kidnappings. The hotness has the right amount of steamy. If you are reading this review read the dang book!
