You've never met anyone like Dani Silver — aka The Grifter's Daughter.
In four novels of increasing danger, Dani’s out to become the greatest living con artist and prove that you can do well AND do good, by cheating people who really—really—deserve it.
These four books feature romance, humor and wildly amazing schemes as Dani and her crew take on some serious bad guys.
Dani’s going to prove that “Even a bad girl can be good.”
The Grifter’s Daughter (Book 1)
Dani’s first con is turning out to be a disaster. The mark isn’t who he’s supposed to be, the crew is restless and her father is eager to tell her, “Told you.” Can she salvage victory from certain failure?
The Ghost Coach (Book 2)
Dani’s father is the legendary old crook Leroy Amadeus Logan. A long, long time ago he hid an old car somewhere in New York and spent decades building the rumor of a lost car worth millions. Now it’s up to Dani to find a pair of greedy marks. But there are others interested, and they’re out for blood.
WARNING: This one will leave you stunned.
The Blonde with the Dangerous ‘Do (Book 3)
This one’s personal. Dani meets a fellow con artist who turns out to be a killer. When he leaves her to die she vows an extraordinary revenge—make him believe she’s come back from the dead. Is revenge worth the effort? Is there a profit in it? Find out when Dani becomes…the Blonde with the Dangerous ‘Do.
Tap Doubt (Bonus - from the prequel Forever...And Then Some, Book 0)
The book that introduced Dani and Leroy to the world. When terrorists take over Nick’s environmental company, he fights to get it back. But the terrorists have plans far bigger than just corporate theft—they intend to bring down America itself, by poisoning the water supply.
Can one man, an armed mercenary and a pair of con artists possibly stop an international conspiracy?
An excellent series! Quickly moving plots and intrigue spiced with violence, profanity, scams and sex.
Dani Silver and the Grifter Leroy Logan are con “Artists.“ They form a team to get themselves money and justice for Nick, a victim of an unfriendly takeover of his Environmental Cleanup company.
I really liked these four stories. The plots were interesting and the characters amusing. Some of the descriptive writing was of an extremely high quality. There are some typos and of course to English readers some of the American grammar is annoying, but I have to say it was far less frequent in these books than in most modern American novels.
I enjoyed these books, but the last one presented should have been the first in the set! So, it felt a little weird for a while -I wasn't sure it was part of the series, a book written before/after that had a slightly different plot and character list or what. Took a while to realize it should have been read first
Interesting stories , lot of times I had to stop and think of people I had met , that were always planning some scheme rather than doing a 9- 5 regular job. Found lots of words that were spelled wrong which took a little away from following the story such as (she)when it should have been (he). Or (the) for (that)
Thoroughly enjoyed all 3 novels featuring the Grifter's Daughter! Duane Lindsay built a highly detailed picture of a scam artist and her scamming friends, all the while weaving a love story. His characters are vivid drawn. All in all, I'm happy to take the time to recommend this rollicking story.
I have to say I enjoyed this series very much. I was a little skeptical initially but I was so wrong. The unique turn of phrase, the cleverness of the plots, and the detailed characters made it a very fun read.
Love Duane Lindsay's books. The characters are definitely flawed but believable. Completely enjoyed the stories and the failures made the reading interesting. Getting ready to start book 4.
It was kind of interesting at first because of how the minds of con artists work and how they fool people. I quit reading because I found lurid and graphic descriptions of sex acts did not add anything to the reading experience except the "eww" factor.
A truly fun series. Duane has a wonderful sense of humor and puts it to excellent use in these tales. I really enjoyed reading these and look forward, expectantly to more!!
It’s amazing how people can fall for a con. Leroy was the true grifter. Living for the moment and spending the money he made from cons like it was water from a faucet. Dani was more leveled headed , but none the less, a con artist.
That make me want to come back for more. The progression of Dani Silver as both a character and a person is strong, as are the well structured plots. Looking very much forward to reading book 4 and beyond.
A modern day Bonnie and Clyde with all the right ideas. There are the good, the bad and the in between. Running the scams for the right reasons and lots of adventure with some good surprises. Well worth the read.
I decided to give this author a try, but it was not what I expected. The series was not as captivating as I would have liked it to be. But it was interesting.
What a concept having Dani have her own book. Leroy is in the background helping his daughter but she knows what she needs to do and continues the saga.
