The Girl in the Dream by Pravin Agarwal, is a story blended with history, mythology, love, friendship, thrill, royalty and many more emotions throughout. It majorly states the love story of four main characters Vivaan and Riya, Ranchit and Swara which continues over the centuries from their past lifes. The story travels in two timelines and various themes.

The weird dream of Vivaan makes him to astonish as the dream slowly happens in his real life, the mystery of dream kept the story intriguing also stay connected. In the start of the novel I had started to remember one particular movie "Swades" as Vivaan character seemed to have more similar to the SRK role in the movie, only the situations got changed in this novel. Also the convo between characters reminds me of Bollywood movies now and then.

At the end of breaking out dream of Vivaan author gives all the characters a good meaningful play also symbolizes the destined love. It would be better if author could proofread the novel in upcoming edition as some punctuation are not proper in the kindle edition. Other than that I've liked the cover really its an eye catching and also author justified the title with the plot.

Overall, a good novel for ones looking for romantic or destined love stories with happy endings.

‘The Girl in the Dream’ by Pravin Agarwal revolves around Vivaan, Riya, Rachit and Swara. Vivaan who works for NASA is from USA and is a scientist and has been a leader to a mars mission. Then we have Riya who works for an Advertisement Agency and is engaged to Vivaan. But Vivaan is experiencing some strange dreams about some place which he has never visited in his life and sees a girl in the dream who he doesn’t know. She shares this strange dream with his fiancée and she is surprised and angry at the same time thinking about her fiancée dreaming about some other girl. Soon Vivaan and Rachit meet Rachit at USA who is looking for some help to set up a solar plant in Jaipur, India. To complete the solar plant work they move to India where to the surprise of Vivaan he gets to witness the same temple that he has been continuously dreaming of. Simultaneously, there’s another love story running i.e. of Rachit. Rachit is trying all his luck to impress Swara’s dad and hence the entire struggle to set up the solar plant. We get to see the story running between the two timelines and how they are connected to the present of the characters. So, what is the mystery behind Vivaan dreaming about the Temple and the girl? Is there any relation that is linking the temple and the characters? What will be the end of their story? To know all this read ‘The Girl in the Dream’.

My Thoughts:

The plot is very unique and written beautifully. I liked the sub plot that is running simultaneously at the same time and how it is linking the characters present. I was glued to the book right from the start and I am sure the readers will also be mesmerized with this romantic thriller.

The characters are well developed but I found them to be very formal with each other. I liked Vivaan even after getting these strange dreams he was composed and even convinces his fiancée that they are just dreams and it’ nothing.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done beautifully especially the transition between the two stories is exceptional.

The book cover is beautiful and totally reveals what the plot is about. The title is also apt to the plot.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend it to others.

The Girl in the Dream
Author- Pravin Agarwal
Genre - Romantic Thriller
" Love never dies "
My judgement - ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 stars
🌟This book shows that love is not bound by fate and even overpowers it when needed.
🌟Synopsis (by me)
- This story revolves around Vivaan, an erudite and passionate scientist with
NASA in Los Angeles who starts having recurring strange dreams of a mysterious girl.
- His life is perfect. He has supporting parents, a childhood girlfriend - Riya and his dream project - Mission to Mars which is a success but then if everything's so flawless, what is haunting him? When his dream (more like a nightmare for him) turns slowly into reality on his engagement, he is star struck.
- Soon, he is in Madhya Pradesh with Riya, to help a friend, Rachit. Rachit and Swara love each other and require Sara's family's approval to get married. Establishing the solar electricity supply for the village, can give them the green light.
- He learns about Shrinika, a girl of 1500AD, who was heartbroken when she was betrayed by Rudra, the king of Ujjain.
- In this trip, Vivaan seeks to discover the hidden secret about his dreams.
🌟However, what connects him to Rachit and Swara? How is Vivaan related to Shrinika, a girl of 16th century? What is the evil son of the sarpanch searching for? What is the secret? Who is the mysterious girl?
The mystery is solved when we join the links of happenings of around 500 years ago.
🌟This is the debut novel of author, Pravin Agarwal. The book has an apt name.
🌟I loved the free flowing way it is written in. I completed it in a single sitting to know about the mysterious girl. Other than the mythological part of the story, the dialogues are very realistic and relatable.
🌟It is a perfect and delectable mix of romance, mystery and mythology. It's a  story of past lives, destiny, selfless friendship, and love.
🌟It could have been better but since this is the debut, it's excusable.
🌟The story is really satisfying for me especially because I could completely connect with the characters easily. This is one of the very few reads of 2020 that gave me this advantage. The character development is also great.
🌟What I loved about it specifically -
💙 Idea of destined love.
💙 How each mystery is solved by the end and the plot gets a deserving climax.
💙 Chemistry between Vivaan and Riya!
💙 The gorgeous cover 😍!
💙 Detailed mystery!
💙 Connection with the characters.
I totally recommend this book especially to those who love romantic and mythological thrillers.

Title : The girl in the dream
Author : Pravin Aggarwal
Genre: Fiction
Pages: 295
Format : Paperback

Do you chase your dreams? The girl in the dream holds the romantic story that is portrayed deeply based on the dream of a boy vivaan. The protagonist (vivaan), a scientist from NASA who has a dream,
he wants to decode it with his love Riya. He confronts the things which were in his dreams. The book is romantic and thriller one.
So many philosophical lines are described in this book

We human beings get attached to everything in this world but the truth is that everything in this world is a sand castle to be washed away by the next big wave.

This book show us that if something is destined to happen, no one could stop it. It will take place eve if we are against it.

Definitely one can finish this book in one go. The language of the book is simple and character conversations throughout the book are brief and neat. This book is refreshing read.

The Girl in the Dream is a romantic thriller that has a mix of mystery, romance, mythology and fantasy.

In 1500 AD, a girl is heartbroken when she is betrayed by Rudra, the king of Ujjain. After this incident, she mysteriously disappeared.

Now, after 500 years later a NASA scientist named Vivaan has a strange recurring dream about a mysterious girl. His dream is actually linked to the girl who went missing all those years ago, two passionate lovers- Rachit and Swara, and an ancient Lord Shiva temple.
What could possibly connect all of these with Vivaan? Read to find out...😉

✧ WHAT I LIKED:
The story is really interesting. I was dying to know what's gonna happen next. The language is simple and the plotline is impressive.

✧ WHAT I DISLIKED:
The conversations between some of the characters were painfully cringy. Certain parts were too lovey-dovey for my taste. At times I felt like I am watching a Bollywood movie with cringy scenes and dialogues.

My Rating: ☆☆☆

The story revolves around three protagonists and one of them is working in NASA and also the leader of Mars mission.
There is a link which connects all of them and that Mystery is the actual plot of the story.
The plot is no doubt unique and interesting as well. The story flows smoothly without any unnecessary descriptions which is good for the reader.
The narration is beautiful.

They Say “Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover”. This metaphorical phrase suits perfectly to this book. It Just has a pretty cover.. that's It!! Full marks to the cover designing team.⁣

Pravin has tried to blend several elements like romance, fantasy, thrill, mystery, suspense & history. Being an avid reader of mix-up-elements books, my hopes were high but they shattered. Book has covered several elements but unfortunately failed to balance them properly.⁣

Forth the arrival of protagonist in Shivni, the story diverts from the main plot & gets more focused towards the Solar Power Plant. Many incidents contributes absolutely nothing to the story. Then what's the need to add them? To increase the book length? Or to add more characters? To introduce subplots (which eventually did nothing)? The subplot of shourya was completely unnecessary. Most of the time I felt that an Indian-Daily-Soap-Drama was going on & I couldn't do anything but bear it.⁣

Even the so called “villains” have not been provided a proper yet necessary introduction & background. They are given a ‘thug’y essence or to be precise side characters. The story Culminates in absolute hurry..(yet another ‘bollywoodY’ ending). There are several hard-to-ignore grammatical errors. Some phrases could have been cropped. Some conversations appear unnecessary stretched. All of these were hard to neglect. After reading the brief plot I've provided above, one can jump to the last 55 pages & BOOM! He/she will not miss the gist of the plot.⁣

Book could have been better with proper depth, exclusion of unnecessary incidents & proper development of characters.⁣

I didn't enjoy reading it & will not recommend it to anyone

There are books which when picked seems to be belonging to a completely different genre owing to its title and cover but turns out entirely different. Such tales cannot be kept under any bracket for the sheer volume of angles it covers. Same can be said about this. It has all the ingredients, be it mythology, mystery, love, loss, fantasy.

Vivaan is a Nasa scientist and he has everything at his disposal, a childhood girlfriend Riya, a loving family, a well settled prosperous life. But he starts doubting his very existence when some dreams begin to haunt him. Soon, they turns into a nightmare. And other characters like Shrinika, Rachit, Swara makes entry. When he returns to Madhya Pradesh, the dots start connecting and everything seems to be making sense.

The characterisation of protagonist is crafted nicely and narration is decent too seeing it's the debut work of the author. The cover is really well designed and besides a few mundane dialogues and over the top conversations, the story is a good one time read.

“FAVOURITE READ OF QUARANTINE”
.
Well I must say this was one of my favourite read so far during this quarantine so I urge eveeyone of you to read it if you haven't already, you won't really regret it for sure😌. Also I finished the book in one sitting(2 hours was enough because the book was written that nicely that one couldn't stop reading once they start it)
.
When I first read the first few pages, I felt as if it was another cheesy love story & had assumed it to be boring. But luckily I didn't give up reading & I am really proud of my decision. Because this book really turned out to be a super interesting one with its high level of mystery in it, I must say the author really worked precisely in every detail of the story.
The story revolves around the lives of 4 major persons- Vivaan, Riya, Swara & Ranchit.
It was a normal story until vivaan started having a repetative dream where he meets a girl at a beach wearing an Rajputana wedding gown & falls in love with her instant and then he finds that he has got a new car with an unique key ring & while they were going to visit the temple the girl had asked him to, he comes to know that he had already married her to prove which she showed her the ring on her fingers with an R marked on it. And then they visited the temple she wanted to & when he was lost mesmerizing the beauty of the temple, he woke up from the nap at his office. And then to find the answers to the the repetative dream, riya & vivaan consulted with even a psychiatrist which obviously didnt help. Then one fine day they surprisingly come across Ranchit who happens to be the son of vivaan's father's friend. While his stay at vivaan's place, Ranchit looks up at the sketch of the temple and reaslised its one of the temple back from he came in India & then the story shows how all Ranchit, Riya & Vivaan went from Los Angeles to Madhya Pradesh in India to help Ranchit with his project so that he can win his love Swara. And in the middle comes alot of different troubles but the author beautifully showed us how all of them were brave enough to defeat those and the story ended on a good note.
I reallly truely love the whole story, I didnt want to give spoilers but the book was so damn good that I couldn't stop myself from writing about it😅 so sorry if anyone is reading it who haven't yet read the book.
Thank you for reading it.

"Often the person whom we love truly is the one who hurts us the most, this is but natural as we expect more from them, and in turn, take offense at the smallest of things, or even if there is nothing to be offended about." The lines quoted here are from my current read which I fail to fit in any one genre. It has the elements of romance, mystery, scientific logic, historical thriller and what not along with a lot of prudence and didactic vision of life.
If on one side you have a scientist in NASA, Vivaan and Riya as an engaged couple too deeply in love residing in Los Angeles; then on the other side you have Swara and Rachit as another couple desperately trying hard to get the permission of their parents( specially Swara's) located in Shivni, Madhya Pradesh India. And guess what links them together? A solar plant to be installed in the village to cater to the needs of villagers as far as electricity is concerned. All throughout the novel you get to see the ideal versions of the parents and children and sometimes to the limit of being too good to be true.
If you thought you had it enough then wait because you have more romance in history in the couples of Rudra and Shrinika and Angad and Malvika who have a reincarnation to unfold and tie the loose ends of their stories of the past! If you needed a villain to complete the platter you have Dhiren here looking for foiling the proposed wedding of Swara and the solar plant. Not only this there are a lot of wisdom and prudence spread all throughout the book during the long and philosophical discussions between the lovers.
My only wish was if the editing would have been paid a little more attention to avoid grammatical glitches here and there and most importantly to edit the repetition of a lot of content in the book specially the dream Vivaan had so recurrently. All in all I would like to quote one more statement from the book as a take away specially relevant in today's times: "Work in your time zone. Your colleagues, friends, younger ones might seem to go ahead of you. Maybe some might seem behind you. Don’t envy them or mock them; it’s their time zone. You are in yours! Hold on, be strong, and stay true to yourself."

BOOK: The girl in the dream
AUTHOR: Pravin Agarwal
GENRE: Fiction, Mystery, Romance
MY RATING: ⭐⭐⭐ / 5

#qotd: Books or movies?

🔮This romantic thriller was released in March 2020.

🔮The story revolves around the protagonist, Vivian who is a NASA scientist and in engaged to love of his life, his childhood friend, Riya.

🔮Everything is great until he starts witnessing a series of strange and recurring dream of a mysterious girl. Surprisingly, right after his engagement with Riya, the dreams starts materialising into reality and starts haunting them.

🔮Because of the dreams, Vivian and Riya travel to Madhya Pradesh to discover the secret behind the dream which takes them 500 years back in history.

🔮So, what's the mystery behind the dreams? How is the past and present interconnected? The story is all about it.

🔮The story is a combination of romance, mystery, fantasy and mythology. It felt like the Author had tried too hard to fit everything possible in the story, which was not required.

🔮The plot of the story is bit cliche and bollywood-like and did not work for me from the beginning itself. The characters are not build properly because of which there are quite a number of loose ends in the story.

🔮Few conversations and scenes penned by the author were too cringey and could have been skipped all together.

🔮The mystery factor of the story was the only thing which kept me going and kept the story interesting enough to read. The way the author has described the past and present is commendable.

🔮The cover is appropriate for the title and the narration is medium paced.

🔮Overall, this book is recommended for binge read. You can read it if you like bollywood-like drama stories. You can skip it if you are not a cliche drama lover.

🔮Lastly, I would like to thank @rushme and @pratik for the review copy for my honest opinion.

Title -: The girl in the dream
Author -: Pravin Agarwal
Length -: 251 pages
Publisher -: Redgrab Publisher
Format -: Kindle

The girl in the dream is unique combination of different themes or I can say different genres.

So the story revolves around Vivaan a NASA scientist. He was a project manager for mission Mars. He's engaged to Riya. He's going to marry Riya her childhood friend but he got some mysteries, weird dream which turns into reality. His dreams turn into reality and he moves to M.P India to unravel the mystery behind his dream. It's being mentioned that it's a mystery of about 500 years ago.

It is a combination of mystery, romance fiction , thriller.

Overall the plot revolves around Riya, Vivaan , Swara and Rachit. The very first page of the book will let you know it's about romance and it will hook you till the last page of the book. The plot is a bit different from the usual romance genre due to blend of mystery and thriller!

The characters I found them they aren't much strong but the way they are portrayed that's well good. Story line is perfect. Language is easy flowing. Book's cover is attractive and wonderful.
The mysterious incidents are crafted beautifully.
Dialogues used in the book to communicate makes the book interesting and enjoyable. Some of the conversation between characters were painfully cringy.

The book is mysterious journey of Vivaan to find out the girl in his dream...! Will he able to do so?

One can read it if you love blend of different genres ❤

The Girl in the Dream by author Pravin Agrawal is a romance thriller based between two timelines 1500 A.D and 2017.

The story begins with a dream sequence where the protagonist Vivaan is at a beach with a girl who is strangely in a rather heavy traditional outfit. Later to Vivaans shock it is revealed to him by the girl that he is actually her husband and without coming to a conclusion he wakes up to his phone ringing.

Vivaan is a NASA scientist about to get engaged to his childhood sweetheart Riya. Things take turn when Vivaan meets with an accident with a guy named Rachit. Later it is revealed that he's a son of his father's friend. Rachit then asks Vivaan to help him in a solar power plant project which he readily agrees to. This brings Vivaan back to Shivni village Ujjain, Here we are introduced to Rachits girlfriend Swara.

Further we get to know about a sculpture artist Mansingh whose only daughter Shrinika and King Rudra are in love. Later when they propose for the marriage much to her surprise King Rudra refuses to even recognise her. Heartbroken Mansingh dies and Shrinika is nowhere to be found.

So who is the girl in the dream? What does the dream has to do with a 500 years old past? Does Vivaan succeed in finding out his answers? Grab this book to find out.

I love books with historical pasts and mythological stories and resurrection, i appreciate the author for coming uo with such a great thought. Here, I personally felt the truth was revealed way too late with hardly just a chapter or two left and redemption was way too quick. I also quite felt the story similar to Sharvanbaal from Ramayana.

The mystery maintained in the book is decent, the narrative is kinda dragged at places. The language is simple and understandable. Beginners looking out for a romance fiction thriller can definitely read this one.

Book Review :

The story is flipping of two eras....21st century and 16th century.
It starts in 2017,Los Angeles.....Vivaan,a NASA Scientist loves Riya and got enganged but his dream keeps haunting and becomes nightmare as starts becoming reality so flies to MP for decoding the dream.
Second plot is in 16th century 1500AD Kingdom of Ujjain where Shrinik mysterically dissappeared after her heartbreak due to betrayal by Rudra.
Third plot is in 2017 ,here Dhiren wants the statue of Lord Shiva in Shivgarh fort to become billionaire.
Fourth plot in 2011,MNIT JAIPUR where Rachit falls for Swara after his ragging by seniors.

All these 4 plots and their characters are interconnected with each other with some reason.

How they are connected???what's the reason for disappearance of Shrinik and girl coming to Vivaan's dream....are they same or what is the purpose???
Lord Shiva statue & what is the secret behind the Shivgarh fort ???

To know all these entangling characters and to enjoy the frequent flip between eras in story you all should dig inside the book.

For sake of interest I just want to compare the book with movies like Magadheera,Leela and some others as it build up the excitement further more.

The language is simple even for the just beginners. An extra effort is given to describe the scenes.

Overall good book having saga of love with the mix up of mystery, mythology, fantasy, conspiracy, betrayal, passion, hope, ambition.

Recommend to all as cover itself is very eye-catchy.

Happy reading guys!!!

REVIEW:- THE GIRL IN THE DREAM
AUTHOR:- PRAVIN AGARWAL
PUBLISHER:- RED GRAB BOOKS

Such a mesmerizing romantic thriller. The story of this book revolves around some characters named Vivaan, Swara, Rachit and Riya.
Vivaan is the main protagonist of this story who is a NASA scientist and working on a mars mission. He had always dreamed about a girl. Time to time she comes in his dreams but he doesn't know who she is.
He also share this thing with his fiancee named "Riya" and she is also surprised after hearing that.

But his dreams turned into reality when he comes to India for a Solar Power Plant work with his friend "Rachit" and witness the things whome he dreaming about, and from here everything changed in his life....

This story contains an 500 years old mysterious connection with the protagonist's life, and how author penned down all of that is just beautiful and magnificent.

The cover and the title is so apt to the book. Also storyline and the Narration of the story is amazing.
I feel story boring sometimes in between but it's all compensates when the book ends.

Also the plot of the story is based in my home town Madhya Pradesh, India. Thats why I loved it even more because i know most of the cities mentioned in the story very well.

The story contains Mystery, Thriller, Hope, Betrayal, Ambition and also my favorite with a mythological touch make it a perfect one for readers.

If I say about fictional novels then this book is surely placed in my one of the best fictional reads for sure.
Overall I enjoyed it a lot and personally loved the plot very much.

This is a feel good thriller.

The protagonist Vivaan who is Scientist at NASA have a dream of going to a temple with a beautiful girl repeatedly and taking his royal blue Porsche car key. He after completing his mission mars leaves to his home.

He shares this with Riya. Who he gonna marry. He gets shocked when he receives birthday gift which is the same Porsche car and same blue keys.

Vivaan and Ria goes to India to help Rachit who wants to implement a solar plant in his village. Rachit loves Swara. Inorder to marry Swara he needs to impress her father. That's the reason why he is behind the solar project .

They reaches india and start their work. They went to see the temple in his dreams and it was actually the same . These events not only shocks him but the readers also.

Dhiren who resides in the same village is in search of lord shiva statue to become rich and marry Swara.

The statue of lord shiva has link with 500 years ago. Rachit and swara too see same dreams . This make story more thirlling.

These story is linked with each other very well and author has narrated this very well.

Who is the girl on the dream ? Does that relate to previous birth of Vivaan ? Will they complete their solar project ? What will Dhiren do ? Is there any curse ?

You will get lot of questions at the middle of this book while reading and this book gives u a satisfying climax.

The language is good and author has researched in many technical factors in this story. The title of the book justifies the story. The plot is excellent

Overall my rating 5/5

The Girl in the Dream is an interesting mix of a love story, a mystery and a thriller. The storyline is gripping and holds the reader down to read it till one reaches the end of the book. The plot is simple yet engaging which adds to the charm of the book. What worked for me in the book was its linear storytelling and a gradual unravelling of the story as the time progressed. The scenes in the book were quite organic and none of them seemed to be out of context. Pravin took his time to build up the concept and that kept the pace of the book going. The one thing that I think can be improved is the grammar structure as the tense of the book was wrong in some parts of the book. The climax of the book was quite predictable but it was in line with the entire plot so that was ok. I would have preferred a bit more flesh in the climax.

Coming to the characterization, I would commend the author for taking time to detail each and every character. Starting with Vivaan, his background was given quite in detail. His stint as a NASA scientist and his background have been explained in good detail using a scene where he gets interviewed. The same goes with Riya, but her character has different shades that give mixed vibes about her. The habit of Rachit to come to quick conclusions was a good quirk and an interesting take, however, the correction on his actions could have been done a bit late so as to maintain a bit of tension in the story.

Overall, a recommendation for people who love romance stories as well as thrillers.

An engaging story which shares different shades of true love , pain , deceit , selflessness. The story revolves around four characters , Vivaan – a scientist in NASA living in Los Angeles and is engaged to Riya has unusual dreams about a temple in India as well as all the things he had a dream about turn out to be real but a secret lies behind his dream , this is when he is intrigued about all the happening that was taking place in his life .
Then there is Rachit who loves Swara is from India but due to some work has to go to Los Angeles and gets hit by Vivaan’s car and turned out to be the son of his father’s friend.
Amid these events destiny throws it’s card and Vivaan has to leave for India along with Rachit for Solar plant installation so that Rachit and Swara could tie the wedding knot by impressing her parents.
This is how they come to know about the big secret behind the unusual dreams that Vivaan had. Was there any connection of Vivaan from that village?
How four of them were connected ?🍁Had the dream something to do with Their past lives ? 🍁 The story will reveal all answers to these questions very vividly .

Definitely this book will take to a journey of Vivaan’s life that will leave in a euphoria. Absolutely an engaging read with a good sense of plot , very unique from cliche love stories , this one is for readers who love a mix of romance , mythology and suspense . The characters have done justice to the role making the story more lovable , making it hard to turn the head from the book. The book cover is eye catching aptly fits the story , the book title is also perfect, talking about language – it was lucid and easy to comprehend, narration could not have been enough good. Overall had a nice read.

The Girl In The Dream written by Pravin Agarwal is a story of how four people meet each other and find the truth behind a love story long forgotten. In search of answers, Vivaan and Riya residing in Los Angeles head to India to know what lies ahead.
.
.
So well, the setup, the synopsis and the story is very interesting and something I usually look forward to read but unfortunately this one fell flat on its face.
.
The narration was all over the place and the plot was set up well but it took such a long time to reveal what actually is going on without any build up or any surprise element.
.
There were conversations between the protagonists that were unnecessarily dragged and usually such long conversations should give us a clue or a revelation of some kind but it was just conversation between lovers/others.
.
As the narrative is not able to establish what everyone is looking for I didn't get to know what exactly is going to happen.
.
The characters in the story had fleeting appearances and I understood what the author wanted to do so that the reader could connect with the title and the story but the conversations are pointless, baseless and do not make me curious.
.
80% into the book is when I can relate the two stories which could have easily gone simultaneously in the book.
.
The author also has his own narration going on which distracts me, the reader which leaves me waiting for the book to end. I wish I could have had a more good experience with the books but too much talking sometimes doesn't lead one to the interest.
.
Sometimes experiences with the books are not up to the expectations one has.
.
.
Cover is good but I think some spelling error is there.
.
Didn't enjoy the book AT ALL.

Vivaan is an NASA scientist, he is a talented, reserved kind of person. All was going well. Riya and Vivaan were childhood friends, they were madly in love with each other, and were soon going to get engaged. Suddenly, one day Vivaan gets a strange dream where he comes across a mysterious girl. This continues for sometime, he is pulled into web.Series of events, he travels to India to help Rachit in his solar power project. Vivaan finds that he is linked to a mystery which is 500 years old. What's the mystery? Secret behind the ancient temple, Lord Shiva statue , a mysterious girl opens up as the story unfolds. Will Vivaan be able to join the missing dots and reunite with his love ?

The Girl in the Dream, is an romantic thriller which is an amalgamation of love, passion, ambition, betrayal, conspiracy, friendship and history. Cover speaks what all the story is.Though, the start was a little bit of cliche it was all good, as the story progressed it got interesting, mysterious elements, ancient history all were penned very well. Timelines were described very well. Plot lacked the grip to keep me hooked. It was just a mysterious aspect that made me stick till the end. I especially loved Vivaan's character portrayal. Riya, Rachit and Swara's character were also good. Mysterious girl and her story forms an important part of the book, mystery , suspense behind her is maintained till the end.I enjoyed the second half of the book more than the first half, as second half reveals many secrets. It's fast paced. Book needs some editing, strong characterisation and gripping element. For beginners and people who love reading romantic thrillers I would suggest !!
