I'd made the choice to survive Broken House. I'd chosen to live instead of landing myself in an eternity of torture.
At this point in my life, I shouldn't have been surprised that somehow living was more difficult than my previous suicidal ventures. At least I had my men. Three kings. Three sexy, dominant shifters. What could go wrong with that? I mean really, what possible conflict could result in having six possessive, powerful men surrounding me at all times? I had no doubt that in true Louvre fashion the conflict would show itself at the most inconvenient time. Unfortunately, that wasn't all we had to worry about and the weight of our true situation was heavy and terrifying. There was a lot we didn't know.
Had Mr. Black really given up that easily? Somehow I didn't think that was the case.
Better yet, why the hell does my stalker have such an odd fixation with origami animals? The most important question though? What was coming for us that was so bad that a cosmic being had sought me out to warn me? Yeah, so as I said, living was complicated.
Note from the Author The Tears of the Siren series will feature characters from both the Reborn series and Descendant series. It will not be necessary to read either of those to understand the plot, however, they do intertwine in a way that enhances the universe. Don’t worry, no spoilers are present!
Neon Drops is the third installment of the Tears of the Siren series. This is a dark paranormal romance reverse harem romance that features multiple triggers and heavy topics such substance abuse, violence, post traumatic stress, and sexual assault/abuse. All characters are over the age of 18.

Just remember to love cats... that's not negotiable.
I loved the first book in the series, because the concept of what Lorcan is and what she can do was surprisingly original. I particularly loved how flawed she was and thought the way she used her drug addiction as a coping mechanism was done very well. I guess it also reminded me of my favourite series ever, which has a high functioning drug addict as the main character.
The second book wasn't quite as enthralling, but I liked the positive steps Lorcan was making to get off the drugs and move forward with her life.
But I wasn't really feeling this book. I did think the way the author dealt with her PTSD was well done and I still like the concept of what Lorcan is, but I just got a bit bored.
My main issues were the fact that very little axtually happened to move the plot of the series forward, as it was mostly just Lorcan hanging out with the guys (who I spent the whole book trying to remember which one was which). The first 45% is pretty much her in the house having sex with them or them having moments together. That's fine, but it got all very samey.
It does also grate of my nerves how perfect Lorcan is to them all. It's sweet they all adore her, but it was just really, really over done. All 6 of the guys spend the whole time obsessing over her and the chapters with their point of views is just about her perfect she is and how much they want her. It just made what they have feel a bit shallow for me. I also really hate the trope on RH where they all have siccwrwnt cutesy nicknames for her. It does my head in. She's a grown woman and doesn't need to be called Princess or Little Lamb or whatever. It made me eye roll every time I heard it.
However, I would recommend this series and I do think the concept is original and there is lots to like. It just doesn't help that I have developed a very low tolerance to certain things in this genre and this book happened to have a lot of little things that annoyed me along the way.
M. Sinclair has done it again, she has written another fantastic book in the Tears of A Siren series. Neon Drops has everything I've come to now expect from a Sinclair book and I absolutely loved every minute of it.
Lorcan has been through a lot both physically and mentally. She has suffered abuse in all forms had had basically given up before the guys came into her life. Now Lorcan is fighting for life, for happiness, by finding joy not only with her guys but in the smallest of things. There are still bouts of depression, and anger, and the PTSD is still going strong but Lorcan is steadily getting healthier, she's just going at it in her own way at her own pace.
Good thing she has six delectable guys by her side supporting her, loving her, and totally obsessed with her. Seriously, all of them are dark sure but apparently, it isn't just Dean who is crazy. All of Lorcan guys are crazy and violent, I love it. Heck, even Desi went absolutely feral in this book, there was one scene... hot, hot, hot, I would swear flames were leaping from this book. Lorcan and the guys bonded even more in this one and there were some special moments between her a few of them.
The overall plot for this series is complex and the plot in this book went into a little more detail about the true threat Lorcan and the guys are going to have to face. A lot of things were answered and a new character was introduced and while things started off absolutely horrible I have a feeling things are gonna get a whole lot better between them. My favorite part of the story had to be the flashbacks, this book was full of them, I loved seeing the memories of a younger Lorcan and the guys, it was a chance to see how their bond grew from the start and I'm actually surprised that no one figured out they were mates before all this.
Gods this series just keeps getting better. Neon Drops was wonderfully fantastic with hints of darkness, emotional moments, strong bonds, and wonderful characters. There was even a guest appearance by some special characters who may or may not have their very own series, which I'm dying to get to. Not to mention there was some stuff going on with the shifter's younger sister, Maggie, that seem mighty interesting. I don't know if she has her own series or not but if she doesn't I would love one. Looks like Lorcan and the guys have some big plans coming up in Snapped Strings, the next book in Lorcan's adventure.
I love this series but then again I love anything that M. Sinclair writes. So if you have not read about Lorcan and her men, then you need to read from the beginning to understand Lorcan. She has had a rough past and now is trying to pick up and move on. This book focuses more on her and the guys. We find out more about her heritage and what she is capable of. She is learning that she is stronger than she thought. She may think that she is a bit psycho due to how she thinks of some outcomes. It is just natural due to her violent past. Her guys will protect her and will do anything to keep her safe. I love how there are cameos from the other characters from her other series. It all seems to be tied together and I cannot wait to see how this all turns out.
Im completely invested in this series now and with each book it uncovers something new that draws me more into it. Neon Drops - book 3 in The Tears of the Siren series seemed to me to be a bit of a chance to look back at Lorcan & the guys. With flashbacks at pivotal moments in their childhoods where they cemented their dynamic. As well as giving Lorcan the chance to recover after the events of the last two books. Add to that characters from other series (that i havent read yet) popping up and a new guy that causes friction to everyone. I cant praise this series up enough. Im loving reading it so much
M. Sinclair is truly amazing she has woven this hauntingly beautiful tale of heartbreak, substance abuse and a girl who’s not only lost her way but feels she is unworthy of love. The MFC has harem of possessive men who are determined save her, even if it’s from herself!
In book 3 we start seeing Lorcan beginning to heal over her past hurts and becoming stronger through out the book, it’s very well written subject that takes its time through the book and no doubt through the series as well.
I also love that we’re receiving more POVs from the guys it allows us to dive deeper in to their characters and understand them more, I especially love the flash backs to their childhood with Lorcan. I feel like there’s definitely a lot more depth with all the characters and a lot of character development for Lorcan! (Which I’m loving).
In Neon Drops M. Sinclair has expanded so much more on the book universe, we’re also starting to learn a lot more about Lorcan and Cormac’s magic.
I’m really loving this series it’s so original and dark! You can’t help but fall in love with the eerie tale! Lorcan and her men have so much depth you can’t help but read on and become all consumed by them! Lorcan has reached out and grabbed my heart and now I can’t help but see this series through!

I survived Broken House but I am not done with it. Black has to go and I plan on being the one who brings him down. The only problem is that I have no clue on how to go about doing that. At least I don’t have to do it alone. I have my men, Three Kings and Three Shifters who would do anything to protect me. They would do anything to help me.
Things seem to be going too well, it has been two months in the demonic realm since we left and Black has been quiet. Too quiet. There’s too much that we don’t know. What is Black planning? Who is my stalker and how far does his influence reach? How does he manage to get photos of me without us being aware of his presence? But most importantly, what is coming for us that has my star callings getting worse? Is it too much to ask for a few days of peace with my men?
Review:
I am done here. I will not be continuing the series. Don’t get me wrong, the plot and premise were so great but it seems like the author is losing her way and getting sidetracked with a quest of how many men is too many? Lorcan is collecting men like I used to collect Pokémon. She’s taking “gotta catch them all” to a new meaning. It’s no longer a harem at this point, girl has a football team and it doesn’t show signs of stopping. She has seven guys and only been intimate with three of the by the end of this book. This RH isn’t balanced like all the rest that I’ve read and I don’t like it. We aren’t getting a little bit of all the men, it’s stacked heavily in two of them’s favor.
I still don’t like the way the internal siren acts. I don’t like the way the author has set up this inner being with her personality and interactions. It feels weird and I keep thinking back to the awkwardness in the similarities with Fifty Shades of Grey.
I really do like the plot and I think it has so much potential but the issues in this book just caused me to have to stop. I don’t want to risk there being more guys because even though it’s fantasy it’s getting to be too much for me.
I have come to find that 3rd books in lengthy series (9 books are planned for this series, for example) can be hard to judge. They often don’t live up to the first or even second books or act as fillers, but this one really knocked it out of the park for me.
One of the two things that stood out the most about this book (in my opinion) was the character development. We are seeing a lot of the MMCs true personalities come out, and we learn a lot about their feelings for Lorcan. We even get to see some memories of their time together when they were kids/ young teens from the guys perspective, which I absolutely love.
The next thing that really resonated with me was the talk about healing. Lorcan’s inner dialogue was really meaningful, and I have to give props to the author because the way she handled the topic of PTSD, abuse, anxiety & depression was handled in a very authentic and beautiful way. I’ve definitely read books where the FMCs are ‘healed’ just by getting into a relationship and talking about it once (🙄), so as a person who has had PTSD i really appreciated this.
I don’t know how she does it, but even after reading almost 30 of her books, M Sinclair is still able to surprise me and keep me guessing! I did not see Zander coming, and if i’m honest i’m not quite sure how i feel about him. Only time will tell.
Overall, this was a great continuation of the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially with Nova & Lorcan’s friendship. I have a feeling those girls are going to get into some shit together. 🤣
Lorcan is one of my favourite FMCs from M. Sinclair’s books. She’s powerful, strong, and has endures so much. This book is filled with some amazing moments between Lorcan and her men, and even between her and Cormac. Lorcan makes some personal advancements with her own powers, which is interesting to see and I can’t wait to get a better understanding of what a siren is truly capable of. If you read Descendant of Sin, you’ll love this book because you get to see Nova’s interaction with Lorcan from Lorcan’s POV and you get to see what her guys makes of Nova. Don’t worry though, it’s not necessary to read Descendant of Sin to understand what happens here. Along with this, you get to see Maggie and her potential new book (okay this hasn’t been confirmed but Maggie definitely needs one) and it should be interesting to see the dynamic between Maggie and her men. A new character is introduced that I’ve already fallen in love with, Zander, and I really hope that M. Sinclair has some plans for him because this man needs some love. It feels like he’s going to be instrumental in helping Lorcan and Cormac (to a degree) and I think that he’s going to be a big part in the upcoming books. Overall this book, was an amazing addition to the series and it was well worth reading. I can’t wait to see where the next instalment takes us. I highly recommend the series, but you should start with the first book (which is standard). I’d recommend reading the Descendant’s series too because they’re meant to crossover quite often, but M. Sinclair has said you don’t need to read both. Another 10/10 book.
Neon Drops is the third installment in the Tears of the Siren series by M. Sinclair. All I can say is WOWza! Each installment keeps getting better and better. M. Sinclair has this magical ability to write complex characters that readers bond with. She is by far one of my favorite authors and I have been slowly reading all of her series.
Lorcan may be damaged with a traumatic past, but she’s strong and selfless. She grows stronger every single day and the love from her men give her the strength to keep living each day. Her powers are really developing and it’s exciting to read about a Siren, as most of the paranormal books I’ve read are just shifter books. We also get more steam and the heat is turned up with Lorcan and her harem. The amount of sex in this book definitely makes up for the slow burn angst in the first two books!!! We get plenty of answers in this book but also more questions and I’m counting down the days for book 4!
Also the crossover scene with Nova was so great. I was so excited to read that interaction! It’s always fun when separate series are interconnected.
Tropes: Dark paranormal romance, reverse harem, demons, hell, famous heroine Heat: 4/5 TW: Check author’s warnings
What a good book to continue the series. This book was focused on character development, and we did have a little bit of intermixing of another 2 FMCs from other series, and I’m really excited to see how they all come together to defeat some evil in the future. This is my favorite book in the series so far.
Lorcan did a lot of growing, and we can start to see her come out and be determined to be different. She’s way focused on healing from her past and become a better person. She puts herself into situations where she becomes shy, and out of her normal “bubble” so to speak. We get to see more POVs from the guys, and with those, we can see their love, admiration, and devotion to everything Lorcan. It’s really sweet. We even get to see a few flashbacks of the Reid brothers and Lorcan when they were younger, just to solidify how much they all care for each other.
I also love the “twist” M.Sinclair threw at us, especially the way Lorcan acts/feels about this. I can’t wait to see the outcome. I’m sure it will be so much fun to read.
Neon Drops is the third book in the Tears of the Siren series by the fabulous M. Sinclair and was a fabulous continuation in this series! Just like the first two, this story has a phenomenal cast of characters and is set in a truly marvelous world and flows at an amazing pace. Set in the same universe as several of her other series this is a definite must read for any M. Sinclair fan!!!
Making the ultimate choice to survive, love and love this third installment finds Lorcan once again finds herself on a journey of discovery, finding strength from those around her. Her kings. Her shifters. Her friends. Her brother. The question is, will it be enough to survive what’s coming?
Overall if you’re a fan of slow to medium burn paranormal RH featuring some kick butt alphas and the heroine that captures their hearts then this is the one! These characters are utterly fabulous and will make you become so invested in this story that you can’t put it down!!! Just be warned to take a look at the warnings for triggers as this book does continue the dark theme outlined in the first two.
Lorcan, a modeling and music sensation, and her six men, Dean, Rhett, Cash, Desmond, Adriel, and Draven are slowly recovering from the horrors they went through in Broken House. As the story progresses the nightmares won’t stop their arrival, a stranger’s appearance reveals one more rival, and a trip away from her body shakes her from denial. M. Sinclair brought some color into the grey area with Neon Drops. Lorcan and her ever growing family seem to take two steps back for every three steps forward. This book hints at the greater enemy that is coming for all of the earthly realms and reveals some of the depravity that Lorcan has faced since she was young. There are pleasant memories shared as well, so there is still some hope to counter the despair. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
The consequence of devouring three books in a row, is you inevitably reach that moment where you have to let go of some amazing characters until their next book releases...
I really like these characters, and I love how Lorcan grows into the woman she's supposed to be now she is finding love and acceptance. Some of these men are my favorite type of psycho and the dark humor within the series makes me chuckle every time. Looking back, not a whole lot happens in this book, and still I couldn't put it down while reading. I think that's the case because I really like the connections between all these characters. Even though they have such different personalities, they fit, and they all seem to fill in a part their group needs. I'm a fan of how new characters are gradually introduced in this series, it makes me curious how many more will pop up in the future.
I'm definitely checking out the next book, and keeping track of everything that comes next.
Lorcan has to be one of my favorite M Sinclair characters. She is a bit broken, her past has been rough as hell. She isn't entirely sure how to heal and move on. What she is sure of? The love that she has for her guys, her friends and her family. She is always putting others needs before her own and she is super protective of those she cares about, very selfless. I just really like her as an FMC. Now her guys, I love them too! They can all be slightly psycho, some more so than others but they love Lorcan and would literally do anything for her.
Now Neon Drops, in my opinion really pushes the story on. You are learning more about Lorcan and her magic. Learning more about this book universe as whole that might just involve some characters from her other books. I am really excited to see where this story goes and how all the storylines might possibly come together :D
lorcan my girl!!!!! m sinclair continues the onslaught of trauma on lorcan and her harem of evolving psychopaths. i adored how their individual relationships were focused on throughout this book and we got more flashbacks to their entangled histories. plus getting to see nova and her men was so perf!

Words don’t even begin to describe how obsessed I am with Lorcan and her guys. The story continues with some answers found and more questions uncovered. This is a serious page turner stay up all night and call in sick to work type of book. It’s nice to have characters from the same world get mentioned and cross into Lorcans world (Spoiler: Nova makes an appearance!). Dean, Cash, Rhett and the rest of the guys are so obsessed and intense to a crazy level that it’s refreshing and gives you the real feels instead of a book full of angst and mean girls and ex’s. It secures the characters to be dedicated and over the moon in love to not have them with other girls or being big players or having a bunch of ex jealously drama.
~REVIEW🖋~ The Quick and Dirty: Lorcan receives a disturbing message and after a traumatic event, experiences some personal transformations and makes an unlikely ally.
I love this universe and being reunited with Lorcan and her guys! We see some cross over from the Descendants series which I thought was awesome and there is a new(ish) character that changes the way the game will be played in the future. A battle is coming and I have a feeling it’s going to be epic! Also loved seeing Maggie start to get her own story! I hope that turns out to be another fun series! One of my fave paranormal romance RH series that is darkish but still fun and snarky too! Can’t wait for the next one!

I’m really liking this series more and more with each book I read. The storyline is amazing and continues to draw you in page by page. Character development is front and center in book three but there is still some action to keep your blood pumping. We learn some more about Lorcan’s magic. Hey, everything has to have a base be it magic or relationships. M. Sinclair managed to hit the nail on the head with all the new and old characters entering the chaos. Amazing how a person can heal with some TLC from the right possessive and yummy men. Lorcan deserves happiness and some normalcy. Overall, this has been my favorite book in the series so far. Amazing must read and the twist has me hanging on for even more.
Yaas finally The third book got released! I freaking love Lorcan and her guys , they are legit my fave out of all of sinclairs characters aka series. I really feel how underrated this series is, like how can they only under 100 reviews?! I didn’t see Zander coming, Nope Not at all. It will for sure be Interesting 😏 The one i would love for lorcan to meet again is Maya and all of their men as well. I really feel that would be an Interesting combo, i mean i liked Nova and her guys meeting in this book but To be honest i feel like Maya and her group of guys is more similar To Lorcan, in a way. And Nova & Vegas & their guys is The most similar
WOW! Book Three. M. Sinclair is just so Talented! She's created such a complex Character in Lorcan. I love how she is writing her slowly dealing with her past abuse. It's very realistic. She is also a caretaker or codependent....everyone she loves has to come 1st. Hopefully we will she her become even more comfortable in her own skin. We also learn more about her magic which I think is cool. This book has a strong focus on the relationships and character development. We get time to take a breath and enjoy the steam.😁 this series keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the next book to see where it leads us. I highly recommend this one!! Go get it!😉
So book 3 introduced us to a few more characters as well as crossing over a touch with Nova and the Red Masque series which is just a bit of a teaser to read that series next.
As far as Lorcan and her guardians, I'm hoping for more books as I'm missing her vengeance on a particular demon as well as a deeper look into Adriel and Zander. I'm also hoping for more as the authors reading list/released books listed at the end of the book states this is a complete series. If so I'm left with a lot of questions.
I do have several of the authors other series in my TBR so maybe with character crossovers my questions will get answered. Happy reading.
I feel like a lot happened here, but on the other side, I'm like did it? Maybe it's just that the book didn't feel very long. I am loving the series as a whole, though. Lorcan learns more about her powers and the force she'll be up against soon, meaning she needs a lot of training to improve her skills before then. The relationship between the group continues to grow, and I kind of really like the protective nature and slight craziness of certain characters. We also get more glimpses into their pasts, which I always enjoy reading. Seeing Nova's meeting with Lorcan from Lorcan's viewpoint was fun, too. Look forward to book 4!
Oh Lorcan and your alpha males, how I love you so. In Neon Drops we get another fantastic addition to this world M. Sinclair is creating. Lorcan is a character that really makes you feel what she's feeling. I adore the relationships that are developing, not only with her guys but the secondary characters as well. I'm completely hooked. This book gives a really good push and pull through the storyline leaving the reader guessing and wanting more. I NEED more, from each series that is connected to this world!
Third in the series starts with a chance to take a breath, quick breath from the intensity. The book further defines and continues to develop the relationship between Loracan and her men, so hot and steamy is the theme. Lorcan continues to live, fight through the PTSD and nightmares that continually plague her. The theme is dark, but where there is dark M. Sinclair the author balances with light. This is definitely a book in the middle, it has its own story but is driving towards the Big Bang; exciting and worth the read.
I'm gonna say the same thing I said for the last book I read in this series which is phenomenal!! This series just keeps on getting better and this isn't even the last book but honestly thank God for that! The amount of sex in this book is making me insanely jealous of Lorcan and her men. can I have my own harem that consists of lions, leaopords, djinns, demon kings, and sirens is that too much to ask for. I can't wait till the next book comes out. Definitely five stars from me!!!!
This series continues to pull me in and make it hard to put down. Its captivating, spicy, and the perfect amount of some of my own past/triggers. Determination to heal. Determination to be more open. Determination to make sure nothing ever happened to the people I loved. Favorite quote via author Favorite found “She don't care what kind of wounds she's inflicted on me She don't care what color bruises that she's leavin' on me 'Cause she's got freedom in the 21st century.” -Freedom at 21 by Jack White
The story is getting there, I don’t know if I have it in me to wait for six more books but so far it’s a decent series. I feel almost like it’s getting better the longer the story goes on. I do hope that Zander is the last person added to her harem because that is getting a bot much. I feel like the balance is shifting and we are only getting stolen moments here and there with each guy before she has to move on. I’d also like to see some more scenes where they just hang out as a group and nothing happens just some fun, maker knows they need it!
Lorcan is still recovering from her time in Broken House, but trouble continues to follow her around like a lost puppy. We meet a new character, Zander, who takes a bit to warm up to, but through this, Lorcan gains more insight into her powers. The steam kicks up here as she cozies up to more mates. I already adore Draven, but Desmond surprised me in this one. He lost that uncanny cool of his and showed Lorcan without a doubt how much he cares for her. Curious to see how things turn out with Zander.
