This trilogy started out really well, it was easy to read, the characters were loveable, the MC is a badass, which is a must for me. The world-building is good, the storyline interesting, I was excited to get to the end to see how things unravel, but this third book kind of disappointed me, mostly because by now there are 9 people involved with Mina and it was hard for me to keep track of each one or to feel anything for them. Multiple POV's are always welcome, but I just didn't care about any of them in particular. In the beginning it was 5+1, then 4+1, then 6+1.. (by one, I mean Dru). In the second book we got to meet Jagger and Kai better, which made me like them, but it all went downhill from that.

More things I didn't like were:

- the part about the "Chinese disease" which represents the current situation with COVID-19, I think we hear enough about it every day, I don't want to read about it in my books as well. Same goes for the part where the author clearly insults everybody who dares to have a different opinion about lockdowns and the corona threat. It's obvious it was inserted in the plot because it made no sense, so why would it be there unless the author wanted to express her opinion about this particular situation?

- I know this is an RH novel, but sometimes the sex stuff seemed exaggerated, especially the situation at the end. But it's hard to write anything that would fit when you have 10 members of the harem.

Overall, I enjoyed the series, would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy RH stories, it's probably the best one I've read so far and I will surely look into author's other work.

Biggest Problem of this book is to write a good review. Because there are so many things I could say, but it would spoil the story to write about it. I love all books of this series and the third one is a medium burn with lots of smut. And actually this book is not rh because Mina has a relationship with the nine people but everybody but Dru also is drawn to the other guys and they have M/M relationship. I like that they are all sexually fluid, because no prejudices her about M/M or F/F.

Anyway it was a roller coaster ride with a lot of smut. But we get a HEA. That’s about all I can say, without spoiling too much. So everybody who loved the first and second book get the third and read it!

5 CRYING FREAKING LOVING STARS!
I love this book so very much, it played with my heartstrings, it broke me into a million pieces and put me back together, it also made me cry and sob, it made me laugh so hard tears were streaming down my face, it made my heart feel warm and fuzzy inside and it made me love my fictional wife Mina even more! This book was just PREFECTION!

First of all, what’s better than fated mates? Well FATED MATES THAT ARE MATES WITH EACH OTHER! That’s one of my absolute favorite tropes and for this book to have it was just chef's kiss combined with an absolute dream! I loved that Mylea made them all mates with each other it was I have no words I just loved it!

Mina's death had me sobbing like my wife had died and I could not cope with that my heart was torn to pieces and to see all of her mates suffering it was, it was hard man BUT Lexie Winston had us for a surprise! Mina died BUT she became a FUCKING GODDESS (she was already a goddess to me but she became it literally)! I was so relieved and happy for it that I wasn’t even mad. Overall the book was so good I decided that it didn’t matter if my heart had been broken because Lexie put it back together!

I can’t believe this is over it was so beautiful and the ending was so wholesome it made me cry. I loved that Mina ended up pregnant and the little orb where her babies it was beautiful and after all she went through she deserved to have that type of happiness with her. I just want more Mina and I want more of her mates and the whole universe. Lexie said maybe she will revisit this universe and Mina in the future and I just hope it happens!

Lots of couples, lots of points of view and not much depth in the characters. I only managed to connect with Mina, Jagger, Kai, Grayson and Sam. The rest, in my opinion, added nothing to the harem. Drusilla was just like a secondary background character who had absolutely no chemistry with Mina and didn't really fit into the group dynamic with the other 8 harem members. Mav has his issues where he gets lost in himself but the author doesn't really delve into them, Zep only seems to be with him to get him out of that place and Mina really all she does is like being a go-between nothing more. Trick and Sander I think worked better just the two of them as a couple. They didn't fit very well with Kai or Jagger and Mina was just like an interloper that they just had sex with and nothing else.

I like it when there are several points of view of the harem couples, but I can only stand at most 7 people and that they have much more than a few chapters narrated by each one and at least that they are well developed, since here with so many involved you don't differentiate the narrations from each other and several times I had to go back to see who was narrating.

The villains were not very well developed either, as well as some of the archangels.

The sex scenes were many, too many and quite exaggerated and sometimes they got in the way of the development of the plot because the author placed them in unnecessary moments.

However, although the author has a lot of things to improve, such as depth and character development, the world itself was well built, the descriptions were decent and the narration was simple and easy to read despite the length of the book.

Overall it has the books potential, it's not the worst I've read as far as reverse harem stories go, but it's not the best either.

DNF at 16% when the rest of the team is trying to figure out how to deal with Mina missing.

This is a pretty long book at 471 pages with the Kindle edition. It had been about 6 months since I read the previous book, and I had forgotten just how huge the cast of characters was between the members of Team Alpha + demons + every single one of the Archangel parents (and more). While the glossary at the beginning of the book did help with nudging my memory, it was still difficult to remember every single person's personality and history when there was so much to describe and move the story along.

Pretty much every chapter had a different POV -- I honestly really didn't care about anyone but Jessamina and maybe Samuel and what the heck was happening with them. Sure, everyone else was anguishing about the chaos and missing people, but having the same timelines repeated with different character perspectives was really unnecessary and could have been saved for extra content after the book.

The pacing was much too slow for me, and I really hated having to read about villainous plans and what terrible things were in store for the heroine. I ended up too bored to continue -- I was really only invested in the last book for the smut and action, but it took way too long for anything to show up. It was pretty much just all talk, history regurgitation, and planning so far.

Must read, but NSFW as too hot to handle

Holy cow! This book takes the reader on the most amazing ride. It’s long and filled with so much yummy goodness I’m not even positive I can properly reiterate it.

The story is wrapped up for Mina and gang, but the journey there is filled with heartache and passion. There were times I was laughing at team Alpha’s antics, but then immediately in tears from the emotions described. The characters all grow and sacrifice in order to save others. It’s beautiful and so enjoyable to read.

This book is mega hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Due to the size, (oh yeah it’s big 😉) the story is able to weave flawlessly the hot steamy scenes with the plot. There was so much hot goodness I think I may have spontaneously combusted at one point... and I’m okay with that. 🥰 The MM was on point, and the intense desire and chemistry was palpable between all the characters. Every flavor is in this book with FF, MM, MFM, MMFMM, and sometimes to many Ms to keep track. 🤤 There is even some demon tail action.

Great conclusion to the story with some space for new characters to emerge for the next adventure. Multiple POVS. High Heat. Possible triggers for dubcon (though I didn’t think it was, but it’s mentioned in the book) and sexual abuse. This is a terrific story with dynamic characters. I’m sad the ride is over.

I was blessed to get onto @lexiewinston77 ‘s ARC team and I received Guardian Ascending which releases in TWO DAYS and (shamefully) I hadn’t read the first two books, so last night I dived in, not realizing how hot 🔥🔥🔥 and addicting they would be. I’ve read paranormal romance before but I’ve never been turned on by a demon tail until now. I’m not kidding when I say these are some of the hottest scenes I’ve ever read. I like my romance dirty and 🔥🔥🔥 and these books do not disappoint. The original storyline, suspense, characters and world kept me on the edge of my seat. So, while I loved the hotter than hot s3x, the plot kept me turning pages and staying up all night.

Guardian Ascending is the final book in this series (I believe) and if you haven’t started reading the first two books, download now. The books are available on KU, and if you love paranormal, shifter, reverse harem romance then this will not disappoint. I laughed and cried, cursed and smiled as I read the final installment.

Holy hell that’s one way to wrap up a trilogy! Omg I had every emotion going! I’ve enjoyed this series so so much and I’m hoping and praying we get a spin off I mean there is just too much not too! I won’t post spoilers but once you have read this you will totally understand. Mina is one hot pink bar or demon! Spicy scenes I normally brush over but these were just dragging me in. The world building and characters I just absolutely loved I’ve literally stayed up all night to finish it. Please give this author and series a go!

DNF - quit at 70%
This book moved so slowly, with entirely too much POV changes for scenes I really didn’t care about. I felt like the author was relying too heavily on the sex scenes to carry the story. Way too much M/M action, almost made it feel like it’s more about the shock value, as I didn’t “feel” the relationships or even chemistry between them, but more it all intertwined with her being a succubus influencing them instead. I actually regret picking up this whole series in the long run after book 3. There are definitely some plot holes that really hurt this as a whole. I found the characters to be off. I never really feel like I get to know them or even like them- enough to be really invested into the series like I do with some other authors' series.

I hadn't noticed this in another series by this author or this series until I was mid-book on book 3, though I'm sure it was there in the others, but I really hated the author's "author's note" & "author's note - snowflake addition"! What a bad way to rally readers, you come across as arrogant & uncaring, like you believe people really don't have problems or hang-ups in their lives. Maybe you meant it as humor, but it did not come across as humor! I doubt I will read more from this author due to the "author's note" & "author's note - snowflake addition". What a way to be condescending to the readers you hope will "buy" your books...

At my age (60), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.

if you haven’t read the series, don’t. if you need to finish it- it’s fine

I like 2024/2025 Lexie Winston … if I had read 2020 Lexie Winston, I may have never read another thing … not sure what changed but her author notes are nicer now. The world building and backgrounds are cohesive and I’ve always loved her characters.

That being said, if I had read this series as my introduction to Lexie Winston, I wouldn’t have continued. I did not like this series. It didn’t have the flair and pizzazz I have come to expect. Her snark that is usually in the characters, was misplaced at the beginning of the book. Honestly two books in a row with offensive author notes was two too many. Why?? Would love that explained. This series was needlessly confusing. We’re adding in so many things that are so unnecessary and distract from the plot.

I hate a series where the good guys are split up and the bad guys hold them hostage. That should not be half the book, and yet it is. We shouldn’t meet a new mate in the last book. The sleeping beauty angle, the multiple secret agents, the covid-19 mention- any of it would be too much to have all of it, was overkill.

The bones were there. The story and premise had promise but I just did not like it. I should’ve respected that the reviews knew something I did not know. But I just finished Galaxy Circus (which I loved) and wanted to read more Lexie Winston, this trilogy was a mistake and now will always be a shadow on her record to me.

Mina didn’t need to be assaulted, which she was. There absolutely is dub-con. Plenty of offensive things happen in this book, that I’m hoping Lexie realized she didn’t need to do in future books, cause I hadn’t seen it before. It’s not interesting to have conflict that doesn’t move the plot forward when we have a finite amount of time in a book and they’re doing anything and everything but getting to the point.

The whole goddess v god thing and they can take on the other but they can work against each other with “lesser beings” it’s the worst. Everyone’s “amnesia”. The spice in this one came at the most inopportune times, like “we do not have time for this”.

The ending was rushed… simply because so many unimportant things happened, wasting our time and then it was time for the book to be over and so it was just a blink and you miss it ending.

HOW DO WE HAVE TIME FOR ANOTHER S€X SCENE?! you 👏🏽are 👏🏽trying👏🏽 to 👏🏽save 👏🏽the 👏🏽world 👏🏽 -> Get it together -> I hate skimming and skipping ahead but we can have a fade to black here

66%, I threatened to DNF… but I didn’t want to give it that power. It’s the dumbest hack thing. It’s happens in far too many subpar books. It’s genuinely ridiculous and completely predictable… Honestly if this was my introduction to Lexie Winston, I would not have read anything else. It’s just bad. I couldn’t even be sad. Not one bit, because it’s just bad.

Mylea is annoying. Sabboath is annoying. Connie’s redemption arc, pass. Sam going back in?! NOOOOOO. I genuinely hate it here 🎶 never seen Hammus but he’s a real PITA. I’m glad Grayson was reunited with his real dad, but it’s the end of book 3, I don’t care about this!!

“I’m sure you can handle it, and frankly, the four of us deserve a vacation after all this time.” -> They’re gods that have just watched the bad one ruin everything … but sure they deserve a break.

“So, Mina, are you ready for the next chapter in your life?” AT 82% that’s just poor page management.

There are so many “gods” mentioned but they’re not the gods of this book … which is frustrating and annoying … cause why is it that Mylea and her mates couldn’t handle everything but the estranged mate??? Make that, make sense- huh. “Our bond is practically vibrating with the frustration and complete astonishment we feel at the reminder that it's the gods own fault they can’t help us right now.” EXACTLY THIS.

90% we’re gonna have an *rgy … sure … why not … we still have a god, and some archangels to take care of, but let’s close the mate circle 💀

I don’t understand the realms, I don’t understand this world. With Sabboath still at large, does that mean the story can continue? Or will he end up in another series??

Overall, it ended as a series as good as could be expected when I hated 89% of the journey.

The perfect ending to the Collector’s Division Series.

This book has a lot of emotional ups and downs. I laughed, cried, got royally p*ssed off, and even extremely giddy. You feel so invested in these characters that at one point I even felt like writing Lexie and giving her a piece of my mind. LOL. This says a lot about the stylization, depth, and detail that Lexie puts into her books and characters.

I have also found with ALL of Lexie’s books that I want to know how the relationships end and get to the good parts, while also not wanting to miss the journey. It’s a battle that I experience every single time. That makes it even more fulfilling and exciting to read her books.

I also have to say that I am one that is not always fond of the angel and demon/ God and Goddess books. For me they are often too “good vs bad”, “heaven vs hell”, etc. This is NOT the case with this book nor this series. Lexie puts a very humanistic spin on it and completely crashes through the perceived norms with humility, humor, grace, and adventure.

Saying this, my favorite characters are Kai, Jagger, Grayson, and Sam; in that order. I remember in book two being p*ssed (again - lol) about Kai being brought in to assist Mina’s transition. I felt so bad for Team Alpha. I didn’t want her cheating on them with a stranger. Now, he’s my favorite character. This is just an example of how she can bring in new characters, change the rules, and make you fall in love with them anyway. It’s a true art.

Guardian Ascending is phenomenal. I truly do love this book and this series. It has changed my views with how some authors can make something old new again, while also twisting and changing the old perceptions with something more fabulous and more tangible.

Another Great Book Lexie and Congrats on finishing your very first series!!

Get this book now!!! You will be so happy that you did.

What an ending the this series! So much happened in this series - especially in this finale!

Heads up there is a glossary of the characters and realms in the book - don’t be afraid to reference it if it has been a while since you read the previous books. Don’t let the thought of needing a glossary deter you - but with the amazing cast of characters in this series referring to this can be handy 😉 I didn’t refer to it until later in book and wish I had done it earlier - I’m a little OCD about knowing all about the characters though!

This book takes off right from where the last one ended. Mina and her harem overcome a lot of hurdles in this final instalment. I sometimes just wished for them to be able to catch a moment to themselves - but no rest for the wicked 🤣 any down time they get they do make the most of that’s for sure!! They get some help along the way from old and new characters which keeps it even more interesting!! There were parts where I was laughing and a tear or two was shed but it was all worth it in the end. They do get their HEA which is awesome they just had to go through a bit to get there.

Thank you Lexie Winston for sharing you mad writing skills with the world !!

Oooh this soooo lived up to all my hopes and dreams for this series! When I first started this series I was fortunate enough to be able to read book 1 and 2 back to back and didn’t have to wait too long for this 3rd book to come out!
I am not a crier, which is weird being the emotional sign of Cancer. However, there is one point in this book where I actually shed a couple tears. So props to Lexie for being able to pull them from me. It’s not a feather many authors can put in their cap!
I loved the ride this book took me on, I can say this series will definitely be one I read more than once.

What a wonderful end to the series, and I hope those minor loose ends that were left lead to more from these characters, maybe a spin-off? I will gladly read about Mina and her mates any day of the week.
Thank you Lexie for a great series!

Perfect Ending to the Collectors Divison. OMG. This series was to die for. This book had me on a roller coaster with cheering and crying along the way. I loved the fact that it ended on a good note and yet Lexie left it open to tackle it later if she wants. Mina’s story continues where she’s captured by Sabboath and the hunt is on to save her and her new mates? But not everything is that simple, the other realms are falling apart and the timetable has moved up. I was on the edge of my seat during this enchanting delivery from Lexi. The steam in this book was off the charts with the M/M and get this... 9 way! (bowing down worshipping Lexie... I'm not worthy). I flipped my lid that she's beyond talented in making that happen. This series was fantastic if you haven't picked this up yet, What are you waiting for?

This was probably my most anticipated RH PNR series finale this year! I’m a huge fan, book three was greeted with mixed emotions, I really didn’t want Mina’s story to end. 😢

Pick this up! Pick up the whole series! I can’t state that enough. With a growing harem, an amazing storyline, this finale will pull your heartstrings. I loved mm incorporated into the harem, it fits so perfectly and was well written. Between the cliffhanger in book two and the beginning of Ascending, the transition is smooth, picking right up where we left off.

If I could ask for one thing this year, it would have been more from this series. Who knows, we might be lucky enough to catch up with them all again one day. I won’t forget Mina and her boys. 🖤💜🖤

I give this book an overall 4.5 stars. I really liked how Mina's powers grew and the development of her relationship with her parents. The theme of family is very strong in this series and I enjoyed seeing the famous Archangels as parents. I would have liked to see more of a development in this area.

However, there were many factors of this book I disliked. The variety of perspectives were annoying as it stopped the book from flowing and at times there were multiple perspectives of the same scene. Furthermore, the number of sexual scenes became too much and it distracted from the actual story. Obviously, as a reverse harem, I expected several of these scenes but at times there were one every few pages.

Holy Freakin Amazingness!! Lexie Winston does it again with her absolutely ingenious writing. From the beginning I have been hooked on this series and this last book is no different! Gah!.... It is non-stop action that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. So sad to see this series end but you will not regret picking up this brilliance to read! Jessamina has a rough road with her harem but the bumps and bruises along the way help to bring them together on a deeper level. What a freakin emotional hangover this book gives you but totally worth it! If you have not read this series I highly recommend grabbing it!💜🖤

Fantastic ending to a phenomenal series

I’m so sad that this series has come to an end, it’s honestly such a great series. It’s so very well written with such fine detail you just fall into Mina’s world.
This book was great, it has highs and lows, fights and steamy AF sex scenes (and I’m not exaggerating, they are hot as heck).
The storyline has twists and suspense throughout which had me not putting this book down until the very last word.
Lexie Winston has become one of my favourite authors, I love the way she writes.
I don’t want to give anything away to spoil it, but just know that it’s honestly fantastic.
I can’t wait to see what Lexie writes next.

Huh! Was it me?
I had the hardest time staying interested in this read. I don't know if I was fatigued with the story having read all three books in a row or if it just wasn't that great. I was seriously fighting a dnf at about the 70% mark. Sigh, the book was a series of illogical behaviors from everyone intermixed with sex scene after sex scene. It just became too much for me.

**Spoiler**
The bonding between sam and Grayson at the end of the book felt like cheating. Just saying ...was not a fan!
I mean when he says "your death would have been so hard had I not bonded with Grayson" and then she feels mad/jealous ... Im sorry ... How is that ok. Not a fan!

I hope your ready for the epic ride this book will take you on. We hit every single stop along the from heart warming to heart breaking on our journey through this massive conclusion to Mina’s journey. The twists and turns keep coming all the way to the last page with only adds to an already enthralling story that I know I’ll constantly revisit over the years. The ending leaves enough loose ends that a spin-off series or even a novella could come down the line, but plenty of resolution for the main storyline.

WOW just wow !!!

This is the last book in this series and what an amazing ending, it's bitter sweet as I sill want more.

The whole series has been such a great read, you get sucked in from the get go and just have to keep reading, it is one of them books you just can't put down even if you wanted to (and I didn't want to).

I can't wait to see what this amazing author will come up with next because I will waiting patiently or not.

So if you are looking for a great read, something to get your teeth into then this is it look on further.

The thrilling conclusion to the Collector's Division Series. So much happens in this book. We find out just how crazy AoA is, and who is pulling the strings. What Mina's destiny is. How far Samuel is willing to go to help the Collector's Division, and the world.

And there's a nice little surprise in the middle for Mina.

I loved this entire series. Book 3 is by far the hottest, taking this harem into poly territory. There are some surprise twists, a lot of forgiveness, in-depth action, and a happy ending for Mina and her harem.

Abso-freaking-lutely amazing!!!! What a brilliant ending to the Collector's Division series. After two fantastic books this one still manages to throw so many curve balls at you. I couldn't put it down. This was perfect. For a long book it keeps your attention and enthralls you the whole way through. I love so many of the characters in this series. Even the ones I love to hate lol. Definitely a favorite. If you love paranormal reverse harem this is totally a must have on your TBR but it won't stay there long as it will be at the top of that list!!!!!

This is a fantastic and thrilling ending to the series. Mina is captured and fighting for her life. She doesn’t know who to trust and it’s possible that her captors are her mates. There is just so much going on. She has to fight against Sabboath and defeat Hammus, while maintaining her mate bonds and adding more mates. This is so emotional. I can’t think of an emotion I didn’t experience during this read. This book has it all! If you are a fan of fast paced paranormal action and like all the steam included in a harem, then you definitely need to read this entire series.

I can't believe Mina's story is coming to an end. I absolutely fell in love with all these characters and I mean ALL of them during the first book and my love has only grown with each one. I loved the way Lexie finished these guys story and you will definitely be on the edge of your seat all the way through, but trust me it is all worth it. This book has it all action, steam, twists, oh crap moments, more twists,  tails, and on and on! It was amazing, Lexie congrats on an awesome series and if you haven't read it do it now!

Love the storyline

As I was reading I saw some of the things that will need to be fixed during the re-edit but it doesn’t detract from this spectacular series. I was little sad not to have an epilogue at the end but beggars can’t be choosers. I love the authors writing style and have read almost all of her books already and this one was no less enjoyable than the others, maybe more so cuz I’m a book whore for some reverse harem. I loved your authors note in the beginning btw made me even more excited to start the books.

I really enjoyed this book!! I was not a fan of the sci-fi genre but it is really growing on me. My heart broke so bad for a minute because I was like whyyy???? But there is a reason for everything. I really didn't think that Connie deserved a second chance, yeah I know she shouldn't be blamed for the sins of her father but the hate she had for Mina was hers. I love that Mina got to bond with all nine of her mates to become what was needed. She is so badass and I hope we hear from them again because there is still some unfinished business.💙💙

Now this was a magnificent ending to the series! Lexie has outdone herself in creating this incredible world and story. In this book we leave off from wheee the last book left off. Mina faces betrayal, kidnapping, and more. But through all of that she has her mates and the strength to keep fighting. This series was just incredible and the ending! I hoping there is a spin off in the works! I highly recommend this series! I laughed, cried, and cursed throughout this book, but it was fantastic!

This was the perfect, absolutely perfect conclusion for Mina and her harem!!! I'm so sad it's over but also so in love with where this story went. It was a rollercoaster of emotion from crying to laughing to burning from the heat of the scene. Beautifully written and beautiful world creation that spanned all 3 books of this epic trilogy. Thank you Lexie for writing these and putting then out in to the universe!

Highly recommend!
