The Rattlecreek pack just won’t take no for answer.

They claim it’s because I’m an eligible female, but I think they know about my gift. The alpha has found out information about my past, but more than anything, I’m afraid to find out. What if my mates don’t want me anymore? And they hand me over to Rattlecreek.

Or what if whoever haunted my childhood is still following me? My parents are dead, my aunt is dead… And there’s been another fire. It might be time to leave before they hurt anyone else I love. My mates are everything to me, but I can’t live if they are harmed or killed.

Triumph is the third book in a paranormal reverse harem shifter series featuring a badly injured female wolf shifter, her healing, and the four male wolf shifters who all want to be her fated mate. It is a why choose werewolf romance with a slow burn buildup sure to make your toes curl. Relationships develop over the course of this supernatural series and, of course, Mazzy guarantees an HEA.

AGAIN WITH INCONSISTENCIES... BUT SUCH A GREAT STORY!

Okay, I feel this author, as amazing as she is, needs to start writing down the characters, their situations, experiences, etc. Or she should have in this series, maybe in more recent books she's learned? The story itself is WONDERFUL. I love it so much, I've been through almost the entire series in one single day because I haven't been able to put them down. I seriously recommend reading them, they're sweet, romantic, and I'm sure will cause you to smile at least once. You just have to be able to look past the inconsistencies to enjoy the story. This one had a couple of major ones that made me cringe hard, but, for the love of the story, I pressed on and ignored them... but seriously, they're pretty big ones.

For example, at the end of the previous book (if you haven't read it, SPOILER ALERT), Wendi and her four mates were out for a run after she shifted for the very first time, but came back to see Moss' house in flames. The very beginning of this book? They're literally living in the house again. I gave the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was rebuilt, but there was no mention of it. It was such a huge ending to the last book, and suddenly... nothing? It didn't happen?

SPOILERS IN THIS BOOK (more inconsistencies):
At the beginning of the book, a couple knock on the door of Moss' (suddenly not burned down) house, and Wendi answers. It's a couple wanting to be healed because they can't have babies. The couple tell her they know the issue - the husband as a young boy had complications from the measles or something. Later in the book, Wendi has the hang of healing, invites the couple back to try to heal them, but goes to the WIFE and heals HER?

Also, in the earlier books, it was said that Eschel had the hunting nose. He was able to smell her utensils, bowls, etc etc so therefore knew where everything was. At the end of this book, it's Cash that has the best "hunting nose", as per Eschel's POV.

Still love the series! I've already started following the author. However, if she ever prints these..... she'll really need to fix these things!

We are learning more about the characters and bring new ones in. We will have some conflict, a little action, suspense. What will Wendi do when when she learns something’s about herself and life? Will the her and the four guys ever make a complete commitment? Who will get in their way and who can help them? Will the other pack ever leave them alone? And at a last note we have a cliffhanger so can’t wait for the next book.

Timeline issues

This is a good storyline and there were only minor errors in the earlier ones but this one doesn't follow that. Many times the author changes things that happened in previous books making glaring contradictions the most obvious one is that a house burns down at the end of the previous book and somehow they are still living in that house????? This story needs someone to go over it and fact check the characters. I had such hope for this series even if it's a bit ableist

I decided to review this series as one just because they are fairly short reads – around about 100 pages each – and I managed to read all three in just one day. Plus they all follow the same story arc and read as one continuous story.

I had never heard of this author before but I was scrolling through Amazon a couple of days ago in the mood to read some paranormal romance, and I happened to stumble across this series. I’m shallow, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t instantly drawn to these books because of the gorgeously eye-catching colourful book covers. But I was also drawn to the fact that there is a female shifter in a wheelchair as the main character. I wanted to see how that would play out in the story and I am so glad that I decided to go with this series.

Despite only being short, these books are so filled with action and romance that I very quickly became hooked – hence the reading marathon that ensued once I had started reading book one. There is the mystery surrounding Wendi’s past, including the accidents that seem to plague her family and the fact that she can’t walk despite doctors being unable to find anything physically wrong with her. There is also the danger of a nearby pack who seem intent to get their hands on Wendi due to a shortage of female shifters – and they don’t care who they have to hurt in order to get to her.

Also, there is a lot of romance involved, as when Wendi first meets her new pack, she becomes close with four of them and it becomes clear that they are all her fated mates. Obviously this comes as a shock for Wendi who, because of her disability, has led a very sheltered life up until this point and has never even been on a date or kissed a guy. These books are not very graphic in terms of the more steamy moments – these tend to be brushed over quite quickly and are there to develop the story as opposed to allowing the reader to enjoy the salacious parts – but that is not really a complaint as it just doesn’t seem to be the style of these particular books. The emphasis is very heavily on the emotional aspects of their relationship as opposed to the sexual aspects and I enjoyed reading about how Wendi’s relationships developed and evolved as the series progressed. I think that my only complaint about the romance elements would be that the four guys all seemed a little TOO perfect. In a new relationship with five people involved, all of which have never been in relationships before because they were all waiting for their fated mate, I would have expected there to be some teething problems as everyone got used to the situation. But there wasn’t, and I guess I found that a little weird. There were a few times where Wendi struggled a bit with their relationship, but the guys all took it in their stride with no jealousy or possessiveness to be seen.

Something else I loved about this series was watching Wendi become stronger and more empowered as the story progressed. At the start of book one, she is just moving into her own place for the first time, after spending most of her life being looked after by people who have not allowed her to do anything for herself. But, with the encouragement of her mates, she pushes herself more and more to be able to find independence. She manages to strengthen herself physically so that she is able to walk for longer distances. She manages to reconnect with her wolf, who has been missing since the accident that left her in a wheelchair as a little girl. And she also manages to connect with healing powers that she had never known she had, so that she is able to help others in the pack. Wendi develops so much throughout the series and I was cheering her on every step of the way.

There were occasional issues with the writing, such as some spelling and grammatical errors, but I found it pretty easy to overlook them as I was drawn into the story completely. I absolutely loved this series and I can’t wait for book four to come out next month so that I can find out what happens next!

RH MMMM/Shifters/Fated Mates-Insta Attraction

The FC, Wendi, has been stuck in a wheelchair since she was 5 years old when she was in a car accident that killed her parents. She was then looked after by her aunt until there was a fire which killed her aunt. She then decides to start anew at a university and buy her own house in an attempt to be more self sufficient. The house she buys is on the Midnight Alder pack lands. When she is brought into the pack, having never been part of a pack, she meets her fated mates (although she does not know that they are her mates) and discovers that she is been sought after by another pack, the Rattlesnake pack from whom the Midnight Alder Pack must protect her. It turns out that she is a rare healer and the series covers the evolution of her relationship with the MCs and the FC discovering her legacy and background whilst fighting to keep away from the Rattlesnake pack.

Heat Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆🍆 The scenes ramp up as the story progresses and there are group and one on one scenes with all centred around the FC and no MM scenes. I found” the writing to be crude and didn’t really work for me “Hot semen poured in to me” - really? That’s not hot that’s just “eew” 🫣

• There are material editing issues including sentences that just don’t make sense and disjoints with parts of the story. One minute the FC can barely walk and the next she can walk decent distances; The FC manages to escape from a house fire that kills her aunt but which the girl in the wheelchair somehow survives? Book 2 ends on a minor cliffhanger with a house burning down yet there’s no mention of it in Book 3, in fact its not even acknowledged; There’s a sudden mention of the Alpha’s twin brother appearing who has never been mentioned before but then no explanation as to where he’s been or why he’s suddenly popped up; The FC is lauded as a rare healer and yet apparently her grandmother has been living in the pack as a healer??

The story as a whole was hackneyed and unoriginal. The “crippled” heroine that was clearly not really crippled but was just too stupid to live - check? (I mean, who spends 15 years taking unknown pills, not seeing or questioning the lack of medical diagnosis or the fact that her aunt kept her sequestered her whole life?) An FC who discovers that she has some incredible, rare healing power that makes her wanted by every pack - check? The old women who pitches up out of the blue to “teach” the FC about her gift who turns out to be related – check? However god forbid she tells the FC that they are related or about her background and her family and once the FC finds out why would the FC bother asking about her family and why she did not know she had other family? Apparently she wouldn’t, only a normal person would ask questions 🙄 🫣

The author throws in so many plot mechanisms purely designed to create some kind of angst that they are just annoying. For example, the FC herself is incredibly annoying as the author insists on painting her as one of those FCs who has clearly met her fated mates but refuses to see that and instead believes the MCs are only attentive because she’s a healer and important to the pack 😡. This is further compounded by the fact that the MCs do not tell her she is their fated mate despite there being absolutely no reason not to other than the author trying for some dramatic effect. The FC also gets given a file about herself and her parents but unlike any normal person who would read the file she doesn’t. She reads a few pages then puts it aside to read later. Of course it turns out to be purely a mechanism so the author can create a lame plot twist when she comes back to read more 😒 However does the FC then rush off to clarify what she has discovered? Apparently not, she goes to plan her wedding. The author’s attempts at plot twists and drama were dreadful and so badly manufactured they were just insulting to the reader.

The FC herself came across as annoying, stupid and weak. I could not engage with her or the MCs to any real degree. I think the author was trying to write a strong character but she comes across as aggressive and stupid in how she digs her heels in over pointless issues and seems to be constantly crying.
Overall this was a badly written and poorly constructed story with an unlikeable heroine that the author insisted on dragging out over multiple books.

Wendi will have to meet with the council due the Rattlecreek pack. She really doesn't want to, but they seem ok. She has the pack coming to her house, they think she is a healer. There are two pack members hoping for her help. She also meets an older lady, she feels like she knows her. The council sends Wendi a packet of information regarding her family, her aunt and why she could not shift. Wendi is thrown by some of the information in the packet.
Wendi and her mates still have not fully mated yet, but the pack wants them to get married. She is just wants to get her life in order. Wendi comes to realize what her mates mean to her.
Wendi is still in danger of the Rattlecreek pack, they will not stop. Wendi is going to learn her gift and life her life to her rules. Even the Alpha can not tell her what to do, it is her life, her gift.

This was a really good book, you see each character grow and getting closer. You see Wendi grow even more from where she was. I am really looking forward to more books in this series.

frankly, i feel that the series is deteriorating. Book 1 started with an interesting prompt, but now in book 3 the only thing we read about is how sweet and amazing the guys are. She relearned walking and shifting, but now it just goes without saying. I hoped her healing would have so naturally/smoothely, but rather had some more hickups along the way, e it physical or mental setbacks. It would have made that plotline stronger.
in book 1 and 2 the author alluded to some sort of prophecy about a healer. In this book we read that there is an entire family tree of healers and the grams is actually still healing and part of the pack. Thats not how prophecies work...
Also, the other pack continues to be portrayed as the enemy, a group of disgusting wolves with no moral compass. Have we already forgotten how wolves are treated in that pack? How is Wendi not thinking about what lead to their misfortune and just simply accepts they are the bad guys? For the purpose of the story I accept that the other pack is the bad guy, but Its a very one-dimensional description, not believable.

This was by far the worse edited book in the series. Both of the previous book had some mistakes, but there were SO many more in this one. I's not capitalized, quotation marks not were they should be, periods missing, and commas were periods should be! It was a mess. I don't care enough to wait for the next book to come out. Also I sometimes felt like there was disconnect between chapters. Not like it just jump to a different scene, but like the MC had a different perspective on something than before and we didn't get to see how that happened. Some things were also just rushed through while others were more drawn out.

The only reason I made it this for in the series was because the plot was okay and I could read it through Kindle Unlimited. I would not have spent my money on this 100 page book otherwise. Or the rest of the series for that matter.

If you like reverse harem books, this might not be for you. This is a very vanilla book, even with the multiple love interest in it. The steamy moments you associate with RH is missing from this book and I have read the next couple in series to see if better, but I still get the same feeling. Meh...

I know there is no new stories out there, but I feel like this plot line has been done a few times and much better. Girl comes from tragic past because of who she is. Girl meets boy(s) and starts to grow within herself because of him/them. Girl has strife from outside force. HEA happens.

If you just want a sweet read that isn't difficult, this is fine, but if you are a fan of RH, this isn't what we have come to associate with the genre. I finished the series just because I can't leave one unfinished, but not my cup of tea.

Should be 5 stars, could be 3.

The story is amazing, and the characters, you can not help but love. I am tempted to give 3 stars for the simple fact that the first 3 books should be one. They are so short and it is becoming the norm for writers to call novellas novels and it’s wrong. So $12 dollars for one book. I feel it’s not right and writers should stop taking advantage of their readers. I understand they need to make money but the absolute best, well known writers who give you FULL length novels don’t even charge that much. Just shameful. Would give 5 stars, but want to give 3, honestly a shame because it is an engrossing, wonderful, well thought story even if it does need a better editor.

Triumph is the third book in the Shifter of Consequence series. The relationship between Wendi and her mates intensifies. She learns more about her gift, her family, and her past, which makes the story very compelling. The main characters are so lovable and believable that you want them to have that life they desire. However, the Rattlesnake clan is still out there, so tensions are high, especially with Wendi's safety at stake. With a few big surprises and a cliffhanger ending that sets your nerves on edge, Triumph is a page-turner you will not want to put down. Dominion is next in the series, and I can hardly wait!

This book 3 in the Shifters of Consequence Series is a very well written story in the series with characters that are strong, have depth and evolve as the series evolve. This is not a stand-alone story. I cannot wait for more in this series. This story has action, adventure, twists/turns, and a romance that has more than 2 lovers. The female lead is a shifter, who is unable to shift into her wolf form & is also in a wheelchair since her parents were killed in a car crash when she was a child. The day she moves into her college town she gets a visit from the Alpha's of the local wolf pack. She now learns more about her gift, her family, and her past, which makes the story very interesting.

Triumph. Book 3

Wendi has finally shifted for the first time since her accident as a child. Ellie has been watching a building going up across from Moss' place and has been wondering what it is. Her mates finally tell her what it is for and who is behind it. On top of everything, the Council of Shifters want to meet Wendi and she does not believe she is a healer.
The Alpha has been searching Wendy's background to find out who she is. Between the Alpha and the Council of Elders, they find out everything. Even why her aunt was making her take pills everyday. It was a shock to Wendi when she found out the truth. There is a silver lining within the knowledge. Wendi finds someone that she did not even know about. It leads her onto a path of truth and knowledge.

An Absolutely Exciting Story...
by and1515

Normal.. Yeah that's what she truly wanted or something as close to it as they could possibly get.
Things seemed to be on their side the council said no and of course I will continue to respond with the same no.
And date nights with her guys.
Oh wow they'd totally surprised her and now she was excited about the direction their lives were moving in and she couldn't wait.
However there's a dangerous storm brewing and none of them will see it until it's to late.

Wow what an awesome book. In this book we get to see Wendi, Brandon, Cash, Moss and Escher grow closer and maybe a few bonds formed no clues to who though you will have to read to find out who.
With many twists and turns we also see Wendi learn more about her past and get help in understanding her healing abilities from an old woman. To lead to the ending of the book when things take a turn and leave you hanging on a huge cliffhanger but we get to read from Escher's pov with how he deals with the cliffhanger. Totally recommend this book

Probably the best of the series yet. As her healing powers get unlocked and develop, Wendi is in even more danger than before. Can her mates balance her in life and protect her from the evil that stalks her? The steam picks up in this book as well as she is marked and claimed by two of her four mates. It’s a good thing the next book is due out soon because the cliffhanger on this one leaves a heck of a hangover.

4 stars for Triumph by Mazzy J. March. This is book three in the Shifter of Consequence series. This series is filled with romance, danger, steam, twist and turns. Wendi, Brandon, Cash, Moss, and Escher are growing closer. Wendi’s powers are becoming stronger. I am enjoying this series and the way it is playing out between everyone. I like that how even though Wendi is becoming stronger and allowing the men to protect her she is still standing on her own. I am enjoying this series and ready to start the next book.

Wendi and her mates are still adjusting to their relationship. There is still a threat from the Rattlecreek pack. Wendi finally is given some information from the Council about her history, such as the fact that her aunt had drugged her to keep her from shifting.

As Wendi’s powers become evident, she is being requested to help other packs as a healer. But what happens when she gets kidnapped and drugged to prevent her escape? Can her mates find her? Can they save her?

Heartwarming love!

I have enjoyed This series of Wendi and her four gorgeous men. The only issue with the series is a lack of resolution of the cliffhanger in book two! The beautiful relationship between the main characters is refreshing in it's lack of drama... There is enough of that in the story that it isn't needed between Wendi and her mates! Looking forward to reading the rest of this series!

Poorly written

Cute idea and I enjoy the characters, but her writing is very poor. Yes there are tons of grammar mistakes but scenes can be so disconnected and sometimes you don’t know who is talking. Time is messed up a lot. The ending of the last book was essentially erased. So many moments just made me cringe and shake my head. I was surprised I actually tried to finish this book.

There is some adult content in here
I have like this series so far. The character of Wendi develops more with each book. There seems to be several in this series which at first I thought was a good thing, but after reading this one, I'm not so sure. I'm worried this series is going to start repeating itself. Wendi has nothing. Wendi gets some happy. Now at the end of this book Wendi has nothing. I'm going to go on th the next book to see.

One thumb up

I liked this book. It’s good but so much has been left out. She finds something out about her past but oh wait she will wait a few days to figure it out. She promises to be better for her best friend but she never does. She promises to learn more about her mates never does. I could go on. Lots of holes in the story.

More is learned about Wendi's family and her healing is enhanced but there are still questions to be answered in the next book. Wendi and the guys get closer and they have a few surprises in store for her. The ending of the book leaves you hanging with Wendi in peril. I can't wait for the next book where I hope they will all get their HEA. They've certainly been through a lot and deserve one.

This is book 3 and you really need to read the first 2 books prior to reading this one. It’s a very short book and I think really, they all could have been put together. The world and characters building continues to be good in this book. It’s a story that is intriguing and had plenty of drama and mystery.

Going to go to next book but continuity error

In second book, Moss house was on fire but in this book, they are staying in it. Therefore, everytime I read it, something seems off. A nd not sure about where this next one leads based on ending. Some of this is really good and other times story seems to jump forward through time

Ends in a cliff hanger. I like Wendi, I really do, but sometimes she seems to play stupid. I mean, how can she not see that all of them are her guys? I understand it is hard for her to see, but after hearing about Harems being accepted, and seeing how the guys all respond to her, it is a little baffling that she acts so oblivious. Other than that, this a good book!

Good

The story gets better and better. This is a great story with lots of twists and turns. It has cliff hangers but each story up to now starts where the last one stops and you can go right to the next. You will definitely want to read them in order or you won't know the entire story. Very good.

What a cliff hanger

Wow poor Wendi . I like how she thought of all her mates . But how she was betrayed by a patient . I hope they find her sooner rather then later. Can't wait to see where the other pack is going in this story.
