Great conclusion **SPOILER**
My only objection to this book was the victory over the bad guy. We had FOUR books of him being the biggest and baddest, always 3 steps ahead. Inky to have it resolved *poof* like that was really lame.
I did enjoy the visit to the Fae realm and the realistic approach to her mothers murder. I also REALLY enjoyed the peek into their future. I will definitely recommend this book and the series as a whole.

It was ok
I didn’t mind this series. It was reasonably well written and not a bad storyline. Several things really bugged me though.
First, was that the author gave no warning of the MM in this book. Generally I can get past mild MM even though it isn’t my cup of tea, but this series had quite a heavy dose of it that I really did not enjoy. It speaks to the other good aspects of the books that I didn’t just quit the series.
Second, was the amount of rather large contradictions that popped up in this book. One was Dylan thinking that he was so heavily guarded as a child that he didn’t get to explore the castle and didn’t know much about it. In an earlier book he was thinking how no one touched him while he was young so he had tons of time to explore and knew the castle well. Such an easy fix, say he was bored and at loose ends, wandering the castle and surprised to see a passageway he didn’t recognize. Another was when she was first draining life from her Uncle and Adrian ripped her away from him. Umm every other time she used her powers no one was able to dislodge her, from Mathews’ father to her own father. Which brings us to my final main objection to this book.
Third, is the was the author wrote the final battle. It was so incredibly anticlimactic. Her Uncle was portrayed as so powerful and yet he didn’t put up a fight. Blink and it’s over, with no explanation of how Serenity got rid of the excess life energy.
I did enjoy how the ending was somewhat extended though. Overall it was an ok series with a slightly disappointing final book.

Happy Ending but slightly disappointing (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)
I wanted her old family to be remorseful or punished in some way but that got ignored. I kept waiting for them to have an “oh shit” moment. What happened to the red feathered traitor guy? Did the original dragons queens spirit get free? Was she ever really trapped anyways? And worst part of all….. taking down the bad guy was 10000% anticlimactic. The build up over FIVE books and that’s all we get? It was that easy???? And then BOOM HEA.. okay cool I guess.

I read this entire series in less than a week and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the idea of dragon shapeshift and the entiure idea that there is a part of our world that we are unaware of. I am very much one of those people that belives in fairies and dragons and imps and wish I could come face to face with them. It was very immersive and well written. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Read the whole series in 2 days, goddamn I love them!!
Read these after bypass surgery. It kept my spirits up, thank God for authors like you Alexis cause being taken away to another world helped me to heal. I love all the characters and I cried when the queen died. Is it weird that I cried, every time they cried?laughed when they did? Omg don't get me started on the passion in these books. This series is a must read, opened my eyes to a lot of things.

Fast
This was a wonderful ending if a bit quick. Serenity's battle with Taranis was super fast and it felt like a very abrupt interaction. It was definitely twisty but I wish it was more developed.
The HEA was beautifully done and I won't spoil it but I really enjoyed it.
I wish there was something for Serenity's fathers though. They don't have an HEA and as dragons, they may never will.

pretty good
The series leading up to this book was great, it had excitement, drama, emotions and challenges to overcome. I’m not saying that this book isn’t the same as the others, but I am saying that we’re leading up to an almighty war but when we get to it, it’s the most anticlimactic scene out of the entire series.
I liked the series overall, it was a quick read that was enjoyable. Great for someone looking for a short read into the paranormal.

Loved it!
This was another great read by this author! This series has been amazing from book 1! I do think this one felt a bit rushed but the writing and story line was still amazing.
I also loved how her wolf shifter book characters were integrated into this book. I love Eve and her harem!

Absolutely loved this series!!!
So sad this is the end of a series I fell in love with from the 1st chapter. Revenge was taken in this book thank goodness no more Teranus. So Happy to see Serenity’s family growing in the end. And finally the true acceptance Rayne deserves!!! Thank you so much for writing this series Alexis Pierce!!! I can’t wait to read your next series!!!

Brilliant series
Serenity has been an amazing character. Seeing her growth from being adopted, rescued, finding out she is a dragon princess, has mates and parents and learning how to cope in the dragon world has been intriguing. I particularly love that there is an epilogue that gives the readers an insight into her world after the death of her Uncle.

Was not disappointed in the slightest!!! I knew it would be good but this was just really good. The only thing I would change is it felt like it was a little rushed and some major parts weren't as detailed as they could have been. The spice in the one was a 2/5 but it ended the story in a HEA and pulled it all together smoothly. Amazing job in giving a nice fluffy but fun paranormal romance!!!

Yes Please
Reading this series is a must!! I have never read a series so fast... I loved every minute of it; Serenity and her mates are a joy to read. The sex senses make me want to start my own harem like yesterday. Basically you will not be disappointed at al!!!

A wonderful series
This is a great series with lifelike characters and situations. It was great to watch the characters figure out their places and lives. The plots were involved and paved well.

Awesome series
Actually adored this series, i was completely gripped from the first book to the last and i blame them on missing a few nights sleep (sp worth it tho) loved learning more about the characters and their evolving relationships

Amazing series with detailed characters
Jump off of the page. I will definitely be reading more from Alexis Pierce. I love how she isn't afraid to give the characters complex issues and real life insecurities.

great ending !
This was the last book in a series of five. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them the different paranormal characters are depicted differently than other books showing a new spin. The book ends with an epilogue that satisfies readers who like to look for the future.

Read The Entire Series In A Day
Wow, I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect ending to this story. While filled with tragedies, I’m so glad I got to immerse myself in this journey. I couldn’t put this series down. Serenity is an absolute queen, not just in title.
