Hands down, Claire is the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever laid eyes on. We might only be in the same city for a few days, but that’s not going to stop me from pursuing her. Or falling in damn love with her. Claire is convinced this is just a one-time thing, but I know the truth. She and I belong together. For the rest of time.
3.5 stars - When a steamy night at a conference goes beyond. It's sweet and Jack and Claire make a cute couple. It's a quick read that I enjoyed as part of Big Hot Alphas Bks 7-9.
I really liked this novella about the school teacher Claire and the superintendent of the school district in Portland, Jack. They meet each other at a school conference and spend the Saturday evening and night together. But since they live two states apart Claire is certain that it is just a onetime thing. Four weeks later Jack surprises her by asking her on a date in her hometown and things develop from there.
This story is really sweet and steamy and usually I am not into instalove novellas but Kate Hunt actually made it seem plausible somehow. Maybe it is because both main characters were so sweet, funny and lovable that you can’t help rut for them:)!
I can definitely recommend this book.

Claire is at a conference with her best friend and school colleague when she spots Jack across the room, their eyes catch and something sparks. When they meet again later in the evening the connection is strong but when she sees him with another woman she starts to doubt what they shared. Could they have something real or is this just a fling?
When Jack spotted Claire across the room there was something special between them immediately and the more he learns about her the more he’s falling for her. He knows this feeling they have is special, but can he convince Claire that this is more than a fling, this is love?
This author specialises in quick steamy reads and they are always safe with a HEA. 4🌟
Getting more than the usual conference goodie bag treats this year
JACK is the seventh book in the Big Hot Alphas story and Jack is definitely an understated but still big and hot Alpha. Claire is attending a teachers convention with her friend and fellow teacher Maya, Claire teaches the second grade and Maya the third grade at the same school. As they are trying to check in and get all of their conference information Maya is scoping out the crowd for any potential hotties. When she spots one she tells Claire to take a look and Claire one man catches her eye. Jack Goddard is the superintendent of a school district in Portland, Oregon and is attending a teacher conference where he one of the special guests. After he has completed his registration he is chatting with someone when he looks up and his eyes catch on the beautiful woman across the room. He wants to go and talk with her but by the time he is able to she is gone. He only hopes that he sees her again before the conference has ended. Later that night while Claire, Maya and a group of fellow teachers are out at a local bar having a drink Jack spots her when he goes to the same bar. He is definitely not letting her get away this time and goes right up to introduce himself. Things are going well until a drunk Maya decides she wants to have even more fun but instead ends up dizzy and definitely not steady on her feet. It seems Maya has become a "blocker" for the night. But Jack is not going to let Maya get away quite so easily and tries to find her the next night but sees Maya and not Claire. He does end up finding her later at the rooftop pool, a cure scene, and things get very wet later on after they go for ice cream. But it is only one night, or so Claire thought.....one perfect and very fun night. A month later and Claire receives a text from an unknown number which turns out to be Jack. He is coming to town next weekend and wants to take her out for dinner. She accepts and Jack lays it out there for her........he cannot stop thinking of her and wants to know if she would like to explore where they, as a couple, could go. They spend the next day together and Claire tells him that yes she wants to see where this goes between them also. It seems they are about to enter the long distance relationship zone.
This is a sweet, fun, flirty, funny, romantic and deliciously naughty book. It is well written with a solid story-line and delightful characters who you would want as your friends and neighbors. I loved this book and recommend it.
Kate Hunt does another outstanding installment of her Big Hot Alphas series with Jack. In this BBW and hot male romance readers witness the romantic journey of Claire and Jack. Claire is a second-grade teacher who with her girl friend, Maya attends an educational conference. At this conference she meets Jack, a Superintendent in Oregon. There is an instant attraction between them. However, Claire, who readers met in an earlier installment, is gun shy about pursuing a chance at happiness. Can Jack help Claire conquer this obstacle? Will a long-distance relationship occur? Is an HEA in their future? To find out you must read this book.
Yet again, Ms. Hunt does a swell job with her BBW and hot alpha male romance. The `lead characters are multi-dimensional and quite realistic. The dialog, both conversational and internal monologues, allows readers to understand their emotions, fears and vulnerabilities. Ms. Hunt’s skill with painting vivid scenes rounds out her skill with literary devices as she pulls the reader into this romantic tale. Additionally, I like the way Ms. Hunt uses the epilogue to conclude the current romantic tale and sets up the next installment with just enough information to tweek the reader’s curiosity. Way to go, Ms. Hunt.
4/5 stars Claire is attending a teachers conference when she sees a really handsome man in the lobby, he finds her later at a bar and introduces himself, Jack is a superintendent in Portland. Claires friend becomes drunk and her and Jack take her back to her room, Jack reluctantly leaves Claire. The friend feels real bad and wants them to get together again the next day. At a panel meeting Claire sees Jack sitting with another teacher on the stage and he’s very friendly with her and that turns Claire off so she decides not to join the ladies for drinks the next night because she does not want to run into Jack. Claire decides to go for a swim in the rooftop pool and Jack shows up there, she decides that she does want to have a good time with him and they go to his room and spending the night together. Claire thinks it’s a one time thing, Jack wants it to be more. He does come to see her back in her hometown and tells her he wants more. Jack moves to her town and decides to open on the nonprofit he talked about. Cute epilogue with them married and expecting.
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Jack is book seven in the ‘’big hot alpha’s’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Whilst at a teacher conference/convention Jack and Claire meet. From the moment they meet they just click. With them living in different parts of America will they make a relationship work? The chemistry between Jack and Claire is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought that they were perfect for one another. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this book. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
This is a sweet story about Claire who is attending a conference with her friend. She notices a man and is immediately attracted to him. They spend some time together and Jack knows that he wants more. He contacts Claire to pursue a long-distance relationship, willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. But Claire is unsure. Can they sustain such a relationship? Will he convince Claire to give it a chance?
This is a big question for some people. Long-distance romances are not always successful. But Jack seems sure he can make it work. Will she trust him? Or will she walk away from someone who may be perfect for her? Grab your copy and melt into a little bit of love and caring that makes the reader hope everything will turn out right.
Kate Hunt has quickly become a favorite author mine so I was anxious to read Jack, book 7 in the Big Hot Alphas Series. Claire meets Jack when she and her best friend Maya, both teachers, are attending an educators conference. Claire first saw Jack when they were waiting to check in but they don't meet until he shows up at the same bar where she is having drinks with some of the other teachers. Despite the instant chemistry and a fantastic night together, Claire knows it was just one night. Or was it? Jack is a superintendent in another state but he wants Claire. Will Jack convince her to give them a chance?
Claire and her friend, Maya, are at a conference for teachers. Claire sees Jack across the foyer when she's checking in, later that night he sees her at a bar with her friend and other attendees. They spend time together but go their separate ways. A month later he gets in touch. Will Claire accept he wants to make a go of it or is long distance what she wants?

When you first meet someone who you want to be your forever, you must grab fate by the hand and give it a chance. Jack and Claire make a cute couple with one major problem. But will they let that derail the potential for much, much more. It’s instalove at its best. I certainly got swept up in the story, which means I wasn’t ready for the end. Loved each book in this series.

Claire and her friend attend a teacher's conference where Jack is one of the speakers. She teaches second grade - he's a superintendent in another city. She knows what they have is a one-night stand - he wants more. This is a very nice and steamy story. I really like the authenticity of the characters, and the chemistry between them. Their happy ending is very sweet.

Claire is excited to be at the education conference. She likes to learn all she can to teach and foster relationships. When she meets the eyes of a tall handsome man across the room her heart beats faster and she can't help staring at him. Something about him makes her want to know more about him. When she discovers he feels the same but they lives states a part can they make it work? Love does funny things to people who open their hearts.
Claire had looked forward to the education conference with all the classes for a long time. Then she saw the most handsome man and he noticed her. Jack was at the conference to speak when he saw Claire and he knew she was the one for him. Their fast and fun romance almost scared Claire away before Jack had the chance to convince Claire that they were meant to be forever. Fun read.

This is an insta love story about two people who meet at a teaching conference. Claire and Jack have great chemistry together and the more time they spend together the stronger their feelings get. This is a quick, sweet love story about two people who are meant to be together. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I liked this cute story. It was short but enjoyable. The characters were interesting. I was surprised by their lack of communication that didn't seem to have an impact on their relationship. Jack and Claire were sweet together. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend giving this book a read.

Jack was too much into Claire for him not to hunt her down. She was scared of her feelings for him and thought a relationship between them wouldn't work. He convinced her to give me a chance because ain't no way was he letting her get away. He even moved to her city to be with her.
Such a sweet read. Claire and Jack meet at a school conference and hit it off. Living in different states puts a damper on things, but when Jack comes to visit her, Claire decides she's all in. Loved these two.
This story is just so darn CUTE!! A sweet teacher meets a school superintendent, from another area, at a conference. What she thought was going to be a one night together turned into so much more.

I really enjoyed Jack By Kate Hunt , really liked the teacher romance Jack met Claire at a teacher's conference and fell totally in love . I recommend 18 and up .
What an enjoyable read. It was well written and had was easy to read. It flowed really nice up until the end. It just jumped, and was a bit of a whatttt? However, it did have a sweet ending, and an HEA plus.
Claire and Jack had an instant attraction that is always welcomed in my book. This was a fast read that made me wish it was a little longer so I could get more out of the characters. I will be picking up her other works in the near future though!
For some I’m picturing Jack with reading glasses and a suit when he is up on the podium.... All buff looking and deep voice. (DAYDREAMING) I hope we get to hear about their baby again in the next book...
Jack and Claire meet at a teacher's convention. They ended up spending the night together but Jack knew it was more than just a one night stand. With so much distance between them will he be able to convince her it's worth it? Super sweet with a HEA!
I enjoyed it. Jack and Claire are so cute together. A teacher conference with a bit of romance. Another instalove story. So fun loving and exciting. I really like the Claire's neighbor Ethan. He is grumpy. Lol
