I have most of the annual books in this series. This one is very good but for some undefined reason, it's not as enjoyable as past efforts. Perhaps my tastes have changed. Or perhaps there's not as much of the content I most enjoy (word play, movie/music/entertainment lore, etc.) Still worth getting.
Another year of fascinating stories and quotes. The Milton Berle quotes were laugh out funny. Chewbacca stories! History. The dumb crooks were almost funny and sad at the same time. Lot of fart stories. Prohibition.
Another good addition to the collection. Their formula is tried and true. I particularly liked some of the longer, multi-entry readings in this book. It doesn't get full marks, however, because it is a bit shorter than some of the other editions.
Bathroom Reader #33, the Greatest Know on Earth, follows in the footsteps of all that proceeded it. These books are a great read when you are doing your business and have nowhere else to go. Entertaining, funny and informative, they never disappoint.
Another great trivia anthology. I get the new one every year at Christmas and spend the next 12 months "enjoying the go." The stories aren't all winners but most are. I look forward to seeing some COVID inspired stories in the current volume.
The always classic annual Uncle John's Bathroom Reader never fails to live up to expectations. It's fun, short articles are filled with interesting facts and information. Of course, my favorite part is the factoids at the bottom of each page. Uncle John...he's not just for Bathroom reading.
