Loved this take on the New American Mafia. I loved Sienna's character; how she was fiercely loyal and yet had a compassionate side shown through her siblings, Mateo and Brooklyn.
Can't wait to read the next book.

The only character i liked was Tony (heroine's father.)
The hero and the heroine DID not do it for me. Disliked them both.
I want to see Tony's story with Ari, maybe this author should release a prequel to Tony and Ari's love story...

I had this book in my wishlist for awhile, and I have to say... it was damn disappointing.
H who went to school with the h and didn’t pay any attention to her, then suddenly wants her when he sees her again.
Inexperienced, virgin h who gives it up for a guy it seems like she’s been pinning for, when he didn’t give a shit about her before. SMH
And to add too it, the H only wants her for forever when he finds out she’s a virgin.

I'm not sure, how I feel about it. I got interesting, just because of the whole badass h, described in blurb. Maybe because I had a certain expectations about it, but Si felt a bit short for me in that terms. Okay, that sounds bad. There's not exactly anything wrong with Si. It just, that whole expectation thing, which if I didn't had I think, I would feel differently.
There's a lot of questions needs to be answered and they will be in next books, but in this rare occasion, I'm not that interested to get those answers. Partly maybe because I'm not interested in Ren. Dom piqued my interest, but not completely, because I need to go first through Rens and that's a... problem. Ren just was... I don't know. He was just disappointment, for not finding a better word. And Sasha... Yeah, yeah I know, don't judge book by its cover, but even in those situations, my interested would be to find out about those characters and here I'm just... Numb.
Si and Matteo... Again, I guess its the whole, you need to read next book, because while they got theirs kinda HEA, it felt incomplete. Example, like that close to the end 'thing', which btw I loved to see from Si, but she kept it or planed to keep it from him. Maybe she will tell him in next book, which will solidify their relationship. Because now, I can't see them being strong or lasting, if Matteo doesn't accept all parts of her and Si don't feel that acceptance.

I love when I fall in love with not just my alpha-hole but also the strong woman he loves. Si and Matteo are everything. Sexy, sassy, strong. The story is unique, well written, and captivating. I need more.

August 16, 2024DNF @22% It was terrible and cringe! I physically recoil when a grown a*s woman calls her father “daddy”. I simply can’t do it. This book cringed me out and also gave me the ick. The other thing is… this is supposed to be Mafia and I do like Mafia but not THIS style of mafia. This was not IT for me. 🙅🏽♀️

This is my first book from this author and sadly this wasn’t it for me. Bad Princess feels like it was having an identity crisis. It didn’t know if it wanted to be a Mafia romance or an MMA romance...if it was just MMA on its own then I think I would’ve liked it more but adding the mafia aspect was doing too much. I really don’t know why she added mafia to the mix because up to 51% there was no mafia business going on but just the mentions...over and over..that her family was in the mob...sigh!!!! All these characters did was train in a gym..spar against each other..beat each other up ..more talk about their MMA active wear line lol!!!
The two main characters knew each other in high school...so this is also an unrequited love situation. He wasn’t into her before and sadly as much as he says he wants to fck this girl he’s still really not that into her...zero chemistry with these two!!!
The only good part was that the hero ..Matteo.. was a single dad and that little girl stole the show. She was adorable..funny and super sassy. But you can’t expect a 5 years old to carry the entire story lol!!

Where do I begin with this HOT 5 STAR read? N.E. Henderson knocked it out of the park when she decided to write a "New" American Mafia romance.
Sienna Caputo is a strong-willed, hot tempered, badass who happens to be the only woman to hold a high-ranking position not only within the "family" business, but in the Mafia altogether. Her father, the Boss or the Don, wants change, and with this change comes both of his sons and his Bad Princess. But change doesn't come without a price. That's where things get dicey.
Matteo De Salvo, the heavyweight world champ in boxing has always had Sienna's attention, even as kids, but Si never had his—until now. Let's just say that this hot-blooded Italian American is all that and a box of cannolis. Tony Caputo, Sienna's dad, is a fan of the boxer, but is not a fan of the interest his daughter is taking in the man whose family is a rival. But, Matteo's spunky little daughter seems to worm her way into everyone's hearts, even the Boss's.
This story is a page turner and one of my new favorites by Henderson. If you enjoy stories that will have you yelling at the book, then this one is for you! Angst, romance, mystery, drama, and good ole fashion ass kicking is bound nicely in this book. So, do yourself a favor and one-click now!

Ohh this is a absolute gem of a find for me.
N.E Henderson is a new to me author but for sure will not be a one read wonder. I could not get enough of all that is this book.
Now normally I avoid Mafia and that's simply because I don't like weak walked over heroine's who do as they're told because it's a mans world. It frustrates me beyond belief. Which also makes me sad because I love the concept of mafia and all the darkness that follows.
HOWEVER!!! Bad Princess just ticked all my boxes and gave me the badass queen I crave.
Sienna and Matteo's story starts with a bang and really doesn't stop there. There journey be that a little unconventional to most is a crazy rollercoaster of emotions with all kinds of deadly shit going on that I was living for. It's safe to say there was not a dull moment in here.
Sienna is a boss bitch through and through. She went through her own kind of hell as child but that fuelled the strength within her. She fought quite literally tooth and nail to be the kick ass take no shit from anyone woman you see in this book. She's fiercely loyal, fiesty and unapologetically the rule breaker. Her strength shine through in this story and I love that there was no insecurities or mixed messages from her. She said what she said and she meant it. As a character she's really well developed and very multidimensional. For all the strong sass she throws, you also get to see the softer vulnerable side that is easy to connect and relate to. She's the kind of character I want to be friends with.
Matteo. Man it should be illegal to be that sexy, the man is lethal. What's more appealing that a badass boxer hottie who can hold his own against the big bad mafia ?. I'll tell you.. it's a man who's a great dad to his sweet fiesty little girl. When I tell you my ovaries were positively bursting in happiness. I can't even. What makes a great hero for me is a man who isn't intimidated by a woman's strength but instead encourages it and he did that and them some. I loved that he challenged Sienna at every turn, not once letting her slip through the cracks. Him going toe to toe with her dad was all kinds of swoony and the whole cocky confidence just worked for him because it didn't feel put on. He wore confidence like a second skin and fit himself into wherever he wanted to be. An asshole he may be at times but the man wears it hella well. Oh and the layers to him? SWOON. He wasn't afraid to tell his feeling and be vulnerable. He didn't care who was there, all his focus was on his girls and that right there made him a winner.
They had explosive chemistry from the beginning but what made their journey even more interesting was the fact that they had a funny history that gave them two very different opinions of eachother. The push and pull cat and mouse games they played only served to drive tensions higher creating this palpable connection that inevitably ends up throwing them together and I was there for it. Everything about them worked even though they clashed at every corner. They are like fire and fuel, a delicious and deadly combination that creates fireworks together. Oh and I believed every minute of it and enjoyed the hell out of their journey from the bickering and banter to the literal smack downs and the sweet tender moments. They just worked in all the best ways.
This journey is a crazy one with so much going on it will have your head going into a tail spin. Not only do you have the romance with Sienna and Matteo and their plot. You also have multitude of subplots that seamlessly integrate with the main characters storyline. I don't know how she did it but she did and it's done phenomenally well. I feel like great side characters add even more depth and substance to a story when it's done right and they did that and then some. I found myself so intrigued by the family dynamics and the future possibilities that come with them. The side characters played vital roles in this story adding so much personality and some real unexpected surprises alone the way. I am so excited about what the future holds for them because this story basically laid the foundation for that.
Bad Princess bring you the old Mafia mixed in with a unique new something special that I loved. The story itself is unpredictable, emotionally driven and fast paced but it doesn't skip a beat. I am left with unanswered questions but that is very intentional because this story in only just beginning and even though I'm curious, I'm not at all dissatisfied. I was so invested in these characters, all of them and their journey I was just completely consumed in their world for a few hours. It's climactic, it's suspenseful, it's action packed, it's sweet and it's hella sexy. It has this dark gritty feel that gives it an edge whilst still having those important tender moments that pull you in. I laughed my ass off at the crazy completely outrageous and absolutely dysfunctional shenanigans. I rooted for their happy and sighed in utter content at the sweet. And more importantly I was left wanting and needing more in all the best ways. I'm so invested in the continuation of this series and the many characters with all of their secrets and lies that come with it.
I cannot wait for what comes next.
If you love mafia romance then this is your jam. But also if you love strong characters and crazy ride that takes you through all the feels then this one is definitely for you to!.

This was my first Mafia romance and I loved it! So far this is my top N. E. Henderson book, and I can't wait to get to the next one. I was completely engrossed, I loved the characters, and it definitely had the secondary interaction that I need in a book. The last half of that last chapter was comical, and completely unexpected. Definitely a page turner!

I absolutely loved this book!! The characters were relatable but perfectly flawed. I loved the single parent aspect and the MMA/Boxing was handled really well! I'm a sucker for mafia books and the spice was amazing!!

NE Henderson is a new to me author and Bad Princess is the first book I have read of hers. It was soooooo good and I did not want to put it down. I love a good mafia romance and she definitely delivers! Sienna is fierce and I love her character. She is who she is and is proud of it. Matteo....sigh. I loved him and he’s a boxer, so even better! The flame between the two of them is hot!!

This is my first read from this author and OMG is was so freaking good!! I absolutely loved Sienna her whole attitude to everything was so good and Matteo holy hot damn that man was hot hot hot. Brooklyn was so freaking adorable. The secondary characters are awesome.

This book is absolutely incredible!! N.E Henderson is one of my favorite authors. Whenever she releases a book it is a definite must read. She has such a gift of just pulling you into a story so much that you can't put the book down.
This is book one in her new american mafia series. You will absolutely love this!
We are immediately introduced to Sienna, her brothers and a very talented boxer named Matteo. The relationships between these characters is what makes the book. I can't forget about the amazing and sassy little girl, Brooklyn. You will absolutely fall in love with her. I don't want to give away too much about th characters or the plot. You just have to read it!
Just when you think you know what is going to happen she pulls you in a completely different direction. If you have never read a N.E Henderson book you definitely need to. She is an incredible author with so much talent.

Wow, what a read, what a story!
You know them books that you simply cannot put down? Those that keep you up all night u too the early hours, a story that consumes you ! Well Bad Princess is exactly that !
Not only do you fall in love with the bad ass Sienna and all her traits ( a true heroine to admire!) and Matteo, the hot ‘Beast’, you will love every character there is (well I did)
Nancy had created this new American Mafia world and it gives so much potential for so many more stories to come. I want a story for them all!
The story is much more than just a Romance one which is something I find with Mafia stories, so much going on, so many leads and plots to follow. But firstly let’s talk the Romance... from the first mention of Matteo, it’s one of them where you’re dying for them to give in, there’s chemistry and passion and it’s obvious they are meant for each other!
It’s Mafia, so expect edge of your seat drama. It’s dangerous and intense and fills you with thrilling excitement.
I love a child character who steals my heart. Brooklyn might just be the favourite character with her cuteness and wit. A little fireball in the making.
We got more than just Dual POV so it’s no wonder we’re left with a need of
More after getting a deeper insight to some of the other characters...
Dom is dark and mysterious and he’s more fierce than the boss....
Antonio, The Boss warms my heart with the love for his children but more so with the love for his wife, I would love a story from him, either one of the past or maybe one where he finds someone he can give even just a little of his heart to.
Without a doubt it’s a 5star and one in a world where I could forever read .... I wait in anticipation For the next ....

Nancy had created this new American Mafia world and it gives so much potential for so many more stories to come. I want a story for them all!
The story is much more than just a Romance one which is something I find with Mafia stories, so much going on, so many leads and plots to follow. But firstly let’s talk the Romance... from the first mention of Matteo, it’s one of them where you’re dying for them to give in, there’s chemistry and passion and it’s obvious they are meant for each other!
It’s Mafia, so expect edge of your seat drama. It’s dangerous and intense and fills you with thrilling excitement.
I love a child character who steals my heart. Brooklyn might just be the favourite character with her cuteness and wit. A little fireball in the making.

Dom is dark and mysterious and he’s more fierce than the boss....
Antonio, The Boss warms my heart with the love for his children but more so with the love for his wife, I would love a story from him, either one of the past or maybe one where he finds someone he can give even just a little of his heart to.
Without a doubt it’s a 5star and one in a world where I could forever read .... I wait in anticipation For the next ....

It’s official, I have just read my first FAVOURITE BOOK of 2021! DEFINITELY the BEST Mafia Romance book of 2021!!!
Honestly words cannot truly describe just how amazing Bad Princess was! And mind you not only was this my first official Mafia romance book, but it’s the first ever book I have read from N.E. Henderson. Definitely safe to say she blew me away!
Sienna “Si” D’Angelo Caputo is a what you see, is what you get kinda girl. A badass, fierce, strong, sassy and independent Mafia Princess. She tells it to you straight and isn’t afraid to get down and dirty! But she has a soft side too, with her loyalty, love and fierce protectiveness for her father Antonio “Tony” Caputo, twin brother Lorenzo “Ren” D’Angelo Caputo and older brother Domenico “Dom” D’Angelo Caputo. And for that I absolutely loved her!
Matteo De Salvo is a boxing champion and devoted father to his daughter Brooklyn, who you can’t help but fall in love with. He also happens to be the guy that caught Sienna’s attention back in High school. But nothing ever happened, at least until now.
The chemistry between Sienna and Matteo was everything I wanted and more. Cute, sweet, funny, romantic, yet HOT, STEAMY, SEXY and SENSUAL! I loved watching it grow throughout story, as opposed to just delving in fast, head first. It not only made the story and their relationship more realistic. But it made me that much more enticed, with my craving to want to know more continuing on and not stopping.
Honestly this book had everything I could've wanted and more! The multiple POVs, which I didn't expect, but absolutely loved. It helped give more of an insight not only into the characters, but the history and background to the story. It definitely helped fill in the story even more and for that I loved it that much more. It truly gave a depth into the characters lives on a deeper and extensive level, pulling back their layers and delving into what makes them tick. Giving answers to a lot of questions.
The emotions and feelings from the drama, romance, mystery and suspense was a whirlwind of a rollercoaster. With all the drops, turns and twists, it kept you hanging on throughout. Never wanting it to stop/end.
With the way it ended, it definitely left some questions unanswered. But it just means more amazing books to come from this amazing series! Safe to say makes me even more excited for books 2 and 3 and what's to come, that’s for sure!
N.E. Henderson DEFINITELY had me gripped from the very beginning, up until the very end!
And for that I CANNOT stress this enough, but you NEED TO/MUST READ THIS BOOK!

My Review
This is the first book I have read from N.E. Henderson and has become one of my new favorite authors. This book was amazing and the characters were fun to get to meet and learn about. I like how this book had multiple POVs instead of it just being the main character. The ending of this book had to be the most jaw-dropping thing I have ever read and has me on the edge of my seat for the next book and I am very excited to see what happens next. I loved the characters, getting to meet Sienna who is fierce, headstrong, and badass and knows it!. Then, we get to meet her siblings and father, Ren ( her twin brother) and her older brother Domenico, and the head of the family her father, Antonio Caputo who is the head of the Italian-American Mafia. I`ve read many mafia books in the past but the way this family is they are amazing and unique individuals with how they embrace their lifestyle and how close and protective they are to one another is one of the best things I have ever read. Then last but not least we get to meet Matteo De Salvo, the boxer, and his amazing and sassy daughter Brooklyn who I adored reading about in the book. Overall, this book has to be on top of my list of favorite books I have read so far this year and I am excited for the 2nd book to come out it`s so good! I would give this book more than a five-star review if I could but this is definitely a book you should check out this year if you love a really good mafia romance along with a fierce strong female and loyal right down to the core family. This book will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

This was my first book by this author and I was completely blown away.
Sienna is sassy, independent, stubborn, and has had lingering feelings for Matteo for years. Mattoe is a boxing heavy-weight champion, cocky, and mouthwateringly alpha.
The connection between Matteo and Sienna had sparked long before they ever realized but once they did the connection became a fierce, impenetrable force field that they wouldn’t allow anyone to break, even one another.
The banter between Matteo and Sienna was endlessly entertaining with her fire and sass and his alpha bossiness. Their back and forth was full of wit and sarcasm which happens to be my favorite language.
The storyline had an all-consuming flow. The fire between Matteo and Sienna with suspense, a bit of mystery, and angst, had me rooted in the same spot until I finished every last word.
I loved the family dynamic in the Caputo family. They aren’t just a “mob” family they genuinely love one another with all that they are. Brooklyn could capture even the most intimidating among the made men, Brooklyn and Matteo fit seamlessly into the Caputo family as if that was where they were always meant to be.
The thing about the mafia is that once you’re in there’s only one way out, N.E. Henderson managed to infuse the pages of Bad Princess with an enthralling story that once you begin, you won’t be able to stop, you’re all in with no thoughts of wanting out.

I have read and loved a lot of Mafia Romance but Bad Princess by N.E. Henderson definitely stands out on its own with unique characters and fresh storyline. It was witty, steamy, sassy and dangerous.
Sienna is the only female member of her italian mafia family. Her father and brothers may be protective of her but she is feisty and tough on her own. She has a weakness. Famous boxing champion Matteo. Who knew Sienna to be a shy girl with a silly crush on him. Who doesn't know how to handle this firecracker except that they have hot chemistry.
This story is like other mafia in some ways and then not! Obviously you get to see the intense and violent lifestyle. But it also takes a lot of time developing the characters and their emotions. Sienna is the star of the story. Wow she is one of the most badass female leads I have read in a long time! She is physically strong and her mind is sharper than a knife. She can take down any enemy with her fighting skills and she can own any man with her beauty. Like Matteo. Of course he needed to be an alpha with all the hotness and edge for Sienna. He is unbelievably dreamy with his cocky attitude, sheer power and arrogant personality. The chemistry is insane. And the story line was even more insane. I was left gaping and cursing a lot of time!
Bad Princess by N.E. Henderson is definitely a must read for every mafia romance lover. The journey has just started and it will be an exciting one.

I have a love for mafia romance even when I'm ready to explode from rage but seriously?! Bad Princess is in a league of its own. First & most important of all, our heroine is one hell of a bada** mafia bad princess & I simply couldn't get enough of her. In fact, I would be willing to be for a whole series about Sienna's life. On the surface, she can play the good girl princess but then behind closed doors, all bets are off. She has harbored a thing for Matteo, the heavyweight champion in boxing, but until recently, he's never spared her a second glance. There's nothing about this story that I didn't love hard, as it checked off every box of mine & then some. There's the heat, suspense with f-bomb worthy twists, a little bit of angst, and the action of the fight to get the blood pumping. This is a story that I'll be revisiting for the rest of my life because it's that leveled up! Anyway, I've said enough, so you really want to experience it ALL for yourselves since I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I received a free advanced copy of Bad Princess to read and review. Wow, what a ride? I’m still kinda reeling...Si and Matteo’s story rocked my world. Si is one bad as heck woman. I mean i might have a girl crush. She can take care of herself and does quiet well, while being a complete girl on the inside. Even being the daughter of The Boss she has morals and believes in love. It’s a beautiful story from beginning till the end.
Matteo aka The Beast is one man most men are afraid to cross paths with. He has no qualms knocking a son of a mother out cold. And he does it for fun, for a living and just because he can. Does that make him a bad guy...not to his five year old little girl who think the world begins and ends with her daddy. Can Sienna and Matteo work out the differences in their worlds or will it destroy the world the want to build together? I loved it. Now I’m just pacing back and forth waiting for Dark Prince...I need to know what is to come...

Bad Princess is one of my favorite reads of 2021!!!!
Sienna is a very strong, independent, business savvy woman who needs no man to hold her up. She proves everyday to her dad, brothers, other people and mostly herself that she is capable of anything she sets her mind too. I loved her tenacity and perseverance.
Matteo is a boxer and all alpha male. When he wants something he gets it by working hard. He does everything he can to provide for his family and when he sets his sights on Sienna he knows that she is worth the fight.
Matteo & Sienna have a chemistry that is off the charts hot. They also have a very push & pull relationship which makes for very a interesting read. I loved how they weren’t scared to push each other out of their comfort zones and how at the same time they were there, supporting each other.
This book has many more beautiful and wonderful characters that just make this story that much better. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book and I am so anxious for the next one in this series!!

I am blown away by how much I loved this book! I really didn't expect that but I'm ever so glad I decided to read and review this!
Sienna is a spitfire and stubborn to boot. I love her attitude of life and how she is able to defend herself without any aid from a man.
And I love Matteo and his need for Sienna. To bad he didn't feel that way toward her in high school though.
My all time, favorite part of this book? Brooklyn. And especially Brooklyn and Dom interacting together. It warms my heart and makes me laugh hysterically at the same time.

This is my first book by this author and I found it an enjoyable read. Mafia is one of my favourite genres especially when they centre around the family dynamics. I loved that Sienna was such a fierce character, the only girl in her family but she is no mafia princess. Matteo is a successful boxer and also a devoted single day ... he was just sigh where do I find one like him. I enjoyed all the characters and the fast pace of the story. There are a lot of people in the story but it was not hard to keep track of all the threads of the story. Although there is a resolution to this story I am looking forward to the next one in the series.

Wowza!! This was one heckuva ride!! I love a good mafia book, and boy oh boy, do you get that here! The Caputo Family - Boss/Dad Tony, and his kids Domenico, Lorenzo & Sienna, are intense, loyal, loving and above all, fierce. Add in a hot, single dad boxer Matteo, and an adorable little girl, Brooklyn, you’ve got a page turner you just can’t put down. It was exciting, intriguing, and kept me guessing at times. At one point, I had 3 theories about what was going on, and I’m still not sure which one was right! It left you wanting so much more!! And thankfully, there will be!! The wait though, that’s gonna be tough!!
