Brandon Sims has it all. The brain that produces million-dollar ideas, the charming personality to get what he wants, and the looks to seduce any willing bachelorette. According to his mother, the only thing that’s missing is a wife and kids, and the more time he spends with his personal assistant, Calliope, the more he agrees with her. Calliope represents everything he wants in a woman – educated, ambitious, and so damn sexy. The easiest thing for him to do would be to marry the woman of his dreams, but the hard part is convincing Calliope to cross the solid boundaries she’s set up to see that she is that woman.Calliope Matthews has given ten years of her life to Brandon as his personal assistant and never once expressed her true feelings for the man who’s the hottest thing in her city. Together, they make a formidable team in the business world, and Calliope knows they could be just as impressive in other positions, but she isn’t interested in becoming another notch on the infamous playboy’s belt. Now, after a string of bad dates and on the cusp of making a crucial reproductive decision, she’s considering the cost of telling him everything and changing their relationship from professional to personal.

Callie and Brandon have secretly been attracted to each other for almost as long as she’s worked for him. Brandon doesn’t want to make things awkward and Callie doesn’t want to become another notch on his belt so, they keep their feelings to themselves. When Callie decides she wants a baby and starts dating with a purpose, Brandon said, “eff that” and put all his cards on the table. He finally realized closed mouths don’t get fed and let Callie know wasn’t nobody givin’ her a baby but him. Professional Pleasure was a cute read. It was sexy, romantic, and funny. I loved how easy going the storyline was. It was an office romance without all the drama and y’all know that’s my jam. I can’t wait to see what Callie, Brandon, and the twins are up to in book two. Professional Pleasure was my first book Tia Love and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to reading more from her.
I really enjoyed this story of the Executive Assistant & The CEO secretly having a crush on one another…all while watching each other date other people. Brandon & Callie had a great dynamic from the start….Wesleigh Is Always Amazing Bring All Of The Characters In This Story To Life. I’m Excited To See Who The Next Story Will Be About.
I really enjoyed this sweet office romance. This may be the first office romance where the man didn't start off as a jerk. There was definitely attraction on both ends and they eventually opened up to one another and got their HEA. very sweet story with a great performance by Wesleigh Siobhan.
Aw, how cute? Calliope (love, love her name) and Brandon worked together. She was his right hand (wo)man. She's watched countless girls parade through Brandon's life, but she's kept quiet, while she was hurting inside. She suffered quietly while seeing the man of her dreams give himself to these other undeserving girls. But after one night with liquor courage, things changed. Brandon said no more, cause he too wanted her….this was short and cute and the ending was extra cute and the sex….🥵🥵🔥🔥
I read this book because it came highly recommended from one of my dear friends and favorite author, and this did not disappoint!
Though this was a quick read, it was everything I wanted and needed it to be.
It is very rare that I like BOTH of the main characters in any story, and Brandon and Calliope are both two of my new favorite characters.
Their bond was so sweet, and special, and there were so many times that I just wanted to bang their heads together because I was sick of the back and forth, and hiding of feelings.
The chemistry was there. The sexual tension was there. They both deeply cared about one another and always built things together. The sex was FIRE and I just really enjoyed this story all.
I will most definitely be reading more from Tia Love, she’s got a new fan!
I can't imagine being in love with my boss. I can't imagine being in love with an employee. I also can't imagine being afraid to speak on it and I'm supposed to trust and respect them. That's my issue with Calorie and Brandon....what are you in love with? This was a nice story, no drama just lack of communication. Once the truth was out we are at the epilogue.
Professional Pleasure: I Can Have It All Series Book 1 by Tia Love
Drink: The Secretary
Music: It Will Rain by Bruno Mars
Audiobook: Wesleigh Siobhan: Wesleigh was Wesleigh as usual. She did a fantastic job narrating this story. She changed her voice so seamlessly. Before you knew it, she was a different character all together. She made the story feel more like a full cast than an individual narrator. Wesleigh is known as the queen for a reason and this story is just another mark to add to her extensive list of greatness. The audiobook is a must for sure.
Calliope Matthew: If, “I’m ready for the next step,” was a person it would be Calliope. She was more than ready to step into the next stage of her life.
Brandon Sims: If, “billionaire playboy with a dash of urban flash,” was a person it would be Brandon. He was more than ready to shed that playboy image.
This was not your classic office romance. This story was funny. It was sexy. It was smart. It was about damn time lol. In such a short amount of time we got a lot of story. We get to meet the main characters siblings. We get backstory. A little glimpse into the future. We get spice. We can’t forget to talk about the lights. Tia Love gave us so much story in 110 pages. There’s time that we were yelling at the characters to just speak up or to take the moment to tell them how you feel. This fun read was enjoyable from beginning to end and is a must read for sure.

From the title I assumed that this story would be mostly erotica and those parts were certainly...um yes, but it was so much more than that. It was just everything! I found myself smiling at every little conversation they had and the descriptive language made me feel like I could see things unfolding in real time. I don’t know how you’re going to top this, but I said that with the last one too so I’m ready for what’s next like yesterday.
I normally don't give such low star ratings, but I just felt that this story fell a bit flat. I feel it would have been better as a novella. It seemed to drag getting the characters together, then abruptly the epilogue next. However, I did like Brandon and Callie's relationship.
Good First read! This was a really cute romance between a boss and his assistant. Brandon was a great balance between a gentleman with a little hood in him and I enjoyed the dynamic between he and Callie. Will definitely be reading more from this author.
From the very first book I read by TL, I knew she was going to be an auto-buy author for me—and this book only solidified that. TL's writing is everything I love about contemporary romance: a perfect mix of sizzling chemistry, emotional depth, and characters who are strong, driven, and mature.
Brandon and Calliope (I absolutely *love* that name, by the way) have a history. They’ve worked together for years—Brandon as the boss and Calliope as his trusted assistant. Their relationship has always been professional, built on mutual respect and unwavering support. Brandon could rely on Calliope for anything, and she always had his back. Despite their growing attraction and deep feelings for one another, they kept things strictly business. But, of course, we all know how that goes. What’s hidden in the dark eventually comes to light.
As the tension between them builds, Calliope starts to sense the shift and begins giving Brandon some serious attitude, especially when he starts revealing his true feelings. I was practically screaming at the book when she put Brandon on *Do Not Disturb*—I mean, girl, don't do that to that fine man! He not only wants you but cares about you too! (LOL)
Brandon and Calliope are *definitely* a power couple, the kind of relationship we all dream about—#relationshipgoals. While the story wraps up with a satisfying happy ending, the series isn’t over yet. There’s Book 2 and Book 3 to look forward to, and I can’t wait to see what TL has in store for this couple. The anticipation is real, and I’m so ready to dive into the rest of the series!
First off, I enjoyed this beautifully crafted boss/employee to lovers story. In a way, I want to say friends to lovers as well. I loved the dynamic between Brandon and Callie. I know some people would say it's not uncommon for a boss to smash their assistant or secretary, but when this personal literally knows everything thing, down to the person's sex life because of how intimately close they are, it just makes sense. Well, that's if both parties are ready to settle down. And I liked that both of them wanted the same thing (a baby). The only thing that really irked me about them was how long it took for them to realize how much the other wanted them. I'm all for professionalism and decorum, but READ THE ROOM baby! If it had been them knowing about the other's feelings but trying to fight it, I think the angst would have excited me a little more. But overall, it was good storyline. And as always, Wesleigh killed the narration. Her ability to switch her voice for multiple characters is truly a gift. Brava ladies!
Calliope and Brandon. Mr. CEO Brandon and Assistant Extraordiniare Calliope aka Calli. Oh how sweet it is to work with and fall in love with the worst and best of someone you know in and out. Callie loved Brandon, yet she had no idea just how much he loved her.
Brandon wanted Callie but since she put up professional boundaries for them, he respected it. Yet since he can't hold back anymore, he's all set on making her his and proving to her that she has his heart and he'll treasure hers.
This was an invigorating read. I love love and this was a easy, lovable read. Great read.
Super slow burn. Standard workplace romance...Calliope has been his PA for years. Hes the super rich boss. They both have feeling but nobody is messing up $. Very adult and reasonable personalities and rationales. Grown folks with sense!!! I thought there was no sex then BOOM....last 45 minutes...TaDahhh!!! It is on and poppin. Wesleigh did the utmost phenomenal job as usual. Brandon!!!!!! It was interesting and i was only slightly disappointed when i was thinking it was going to be no sex...The ending gave me the happy. Book 2 continues with them so im curious to see how its gonna go. My first book by this author and shes a good time.
For years Callie watched her boss entertain women and often wondered would he ever realize she wanted him. Brandon saw Callie for much more than just his assistant! One night when a date goes wrong, in a drunken stupor Callie professed her desires! This was such a great read, I was so happy they finally noticed the chemistry and the things they had in common! Really good read!
I truly enjoyed this story. My first read by Ms. Tia Love and she hit out the park! She showed the vulnerability from both a male and female side of a relationship. She really pulled this story together and forced her readers to invest in the ups and downs Callie and Brandon faced trying to get their forever happily ever after story together and I’m invested! Definitely earned a new reading fan. Great work!
I loved Callie and Brandon’s story. Callie was smart, capable, and independent. However she didn’t let that stop her from wanting a real love and family. I loved that Tia allowed her to be open and vulnerable to real love . I loved how Brandon was written to not be a jerk. He was rich, fine, and connected but was not rich person who you disliked. The love they two had for each other was genuine and could be felt by the reader. Can’t raid to read book 2z
I just love reading books with characters that have great careers and a lot of Money is normal. I liked this one because the man is rich but respectful. I enjoyed their journey of getting to know each other and learning to communicate.
I came across this book through an FB ad. It is my first read by this author, and this book is SO GOOD. Story was so well-written, and the characters sucked me in from the beginning. I love a good office romance, and this one is top-tier; Love has a natural story-telling style, and she brought the heat with Brandon, baby.
I enjoyed this short read Calli and Brandon were cute. After working closely together for ten years neither of them picked up o the fact the the other wanted the other in their life on a personal level When the two figured it out it was intense. Brandon had his work cut out for him because Calli found it hard to believe he was into her no matter what he did
4.5 ⭐... & Cause you start telling all your secrets 😂. This was my first read by Tia Love and it won't be my last. Well written and it held my attention. I gave it 4.5 cause I do still feel like something was missing for me but overall I was happy when Brandon & Callie finally got it together! I'm ready for the next book!
It's a pretty straightforward romance they work together, have feelings, one drunken night those feelings come out, marriage, and babies. The end. I think if there was more tension the plot would have felt less flat. But overall a short read that was cute.
CN: abortion, aggressive behavior during a date, incarceration, checking for fertility
This book was pretty good. Callie and Brandon worked good together. She realized she wanted to have children. They both had feelings for each other but didn't act on it because Brandon was her boss. Glad they finally took the chance. Love them together.
Brandon and Callie working relationship was great but they hid their real feelings for one another. One night was all it took to change things into what they both were looking for. First time reading this author but I liked her.
Tia SNAPPED with this book. It’s a relatively quick read, but extremely captivating. It definitely has left me even more eager to read the second book. I love a great storyline where the women get everything they want and need with endless suffering. Cheers to that 🥂
It was cute watching Callie and Brandon navigate around each other while oblivious to their feelings. I liked watching the two of them come together in this cute romance!
