Alan Thompson is the author of a new Supernatural Science Fiction Thriller titled Creation Abomination. He originally had the idea for Creation Abomination back in 1995, at which time he wrote a detailed, 28-page outline of the story and then let it sit on the shelf collecting dust for many years. In 2010, he was inspired to complete this book and he started both researching and writing. By the middle of 2016, he completed his first draft and went through multiple rounds of edits over the past 1 1/2 years.
Alan was born and raised in California but now lives in Idaho. He spent 25 years working in high tech and digital marketing, and now is a full-time professor at a University in Idaho teaching Marketing in Business Management. His hobbies and passions include Science Fiction, movies, video games, mountain biking, Disney Theme Parks and woodworking.

Picking up right where the Creation Abomination left off, Abomination Desolation continues the story of William and his family in their efforts to thwart the powers of evil. In a way that’s perfectly suited for all audiences, the author shifts the focus from the scientific detail and incorporates what most readers enjoy in a Sci-Fi action novel. With a fast pace that takes you from California to Jerusalem and all over the world, it’s easy to follow and to get emotionally involved. If you’ve read the previous book, I would highly recommend this for you.
If I could give this 6 stars I would! This book had tons of action from start to finish. I was really surprised by the direction events went toward the end of book 2, but you’ll have to read it for yourself to see what Thompson came up with. This was WAAY better than book 1, and I loved book 1. Now hurry up and write the best installment!!
After a stellar first book, Alan Thompson did it again! Only this time it was even better. Book 2 is action-packed from the start and a wonderful read. I bought it for some light reading before bed and ended up devouring it in 2 days. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Looking forward to the culmination of the series!
If it were possible to give zero stars I would. This has to be the poorest written book I’ve read. The story is weak. The characters aren’t compelling. In fact the characters are obnoxious. Save your money and spend it on something worth reading.
Not only does it build upon the best aspects of its predecessor, Creation Abomination, but it maintains a personal focus on spiritual conversion and overcoming conflict that the reader experiences parallel to the main characters. Alan’s fictional interpretation of how heaven and hell becomes real are as applicable as they are entertaining in our own lives. A must read!!!
I feel very confused when I see people saying this book is great. It’s got to be the worst book I’ve ever read. Im not sure those people have ever read a good book.
The level of detail so way too much. It got to the point I would forget what was even happening. I’m like GET TO THE POINT. It drug out so much. I even skipped 50 pages and had missed nothing. The plot is an interesting concept but it was executed so poorly. The characters are annoying at best. Totally unbelievable and not compelling at all. The level of misogyny and low key racism in this book is insane. The women in the story only exist to flatter the main character. All of them flirt with him. They’re all described as attractive and said to be “too pretty to be a scientist”. The only women not described as beautiful was a woman of darker complexion and a larger red headed woman and the descriptions of them were misogynistic. The main character isn’t even that likable. He is extremely bland. The plot in completely unconvincing. It moves forward in ridiculous ways. The stuff they get away with isn’t cool or fun it’s just stupid because of how insane it is. I love supernatural books. I love creepy sci-fi. But this book wasnt creepy or scary at all. It was boring.
Finished both books in the series. Abomination Desolation was a great follow up. Engaging storyline and enjoyable characters. Recommend to fans of Supernatural tv series!
