A lot of political innuendo, traipsing between the realm of unreasonable and the realm of meshugge, undercover coverage covering bullshit that just doesn't want to get covered. And Ukraine, yet, that Ukraine that from the amount of tinkering the US seems to do with it one could decide it was placed closer to the US than Mexico... All the while the politico schemes seem to be as crazy as ever... while thecrowds are as gullible as ever... and the societies as corrupted as ever. Viva la locura aka lobbying, or, as they say in the less sophisticated places, corruption.

A great third installment by Bongino. I listened to the audible version, narrated by the author. I enjoyed it, just as I enjoyed the first two books. Bongino has a way of making all the connections between events and persons fall into place. I think his research is excellent and I like the way he provides confirmation about events before writing about them. I feel he treats people fairly and with respect. He seems to have many reliable sources such as John Solomon. If he writes a fourth book, I will be ready for it! If you enjoy this book, Bongino has a great podcast/youtube daily program. Check it out! It was a pleasant surprise that his audible version came out early - the print and ebook will be available in October.

The People Eisenhower Warned About
Review of the Post Hill Press kindle eBook edition (2020)
I'm Canadian, but following American politics is difficult to avoid these days. Before I go much further I probably should say that based on one of those internet polls where your values are matched against candidate's policies, I came out ranking as most closely matched to Bernie Sanders. Hey, I'm Canadian and we have universal public health care, so what would you expect? That aside, I'm also of Estonian heritage which makes me immediately suspicious of anything with a whiff of totalitarianism or marxist-communism.
The whole Russian collusion hoax looked pretty shady to me and definitely smacked of an attempted coup by a combination of the military-industrial complex (Eisenhower's words, but what most would now call the deep state or the swamp if you factor in the intelligence community) allied with the mainstream media. The first resents their diminishing power, the second resents how Trump insults them. The Democrat Party is the public face of this, but even some of those players are obviously pawns. It was seeing Robert Mueller testifying that brought this home the most for me. That man is obviously senile and confused and could barely give any coherent answers to whatever Senate Committee he was in front of.
Anyway, the current 2020 American election has got me interested enough to start reading several related books and Dan Bongino's latest was one of the first as it happened to just come out. Bongino is an interesting character as he was a former Secret Service agent who worked on former President Obama's security detail but now runs a popular website and videoblog The Bongino Report.
Bongino puts together a compelling case about what he calls the "cabal" with dozens, perhaps hundreds, of footnotes. Many of these are hyperlinked in the eBook edition so you can read and investigate further on your own. I'm not going to pretend that Bongino is unbiased, he is obviously Republican and a Trump supporter. His argument and evidence seems pretty clear though. And with even anti-Trump CNN associate Van Jones saying that "The Russia thing is a big nothing burger," and nothing coming of the Mueller Report, it is hard to see it any other way.

The biggest outrage of all this goes back to Mueller failing to prosecute or even build a case against the real collusion that had taken place during the campaign—the hiring of Fusion GPS by Clinton and the DNC and the use of Christopher Steele to fabricate proof of collusion.
Rumors that were created by Russian intelligence were spoon-fed to Steele, who was hired by political operatives working for Hillary Clinton. Steele then fed these fictions to the FBI, attributing the claims to real people who, according to the inspector general’s report, subsequently denied knowledge of the information, or insisted they stated it was rumor and innuendo. The FBI knew Steele’s report might be disinformation. Everybody knew. But they included it anyway.

There it is, in black and white. There are only two options here: either the FBI was relying on a document full of outright lies to spy on the Trump team, or the Russians were using Steele, a foreigner, to help Hillary spy on Trump through the FBI. Great book Mr. Bongino. I loved reading this book. Bongino is fact based, sometimes ad nauseam, author. However it is welcomed because he has a lot to say. This book blows open the left's insanity to bring down Donald Trump at all costs. This book was written before the two additional bombshells that recently hit from Hunter Biden's laptop and his former business associate that gave Breitbard access to his email account, so it's not hacked. That however did not stop the social media companies from blocking anyone daring to share it. Nor has the media even addressed it. This is very irresponsible and you would have thought that the media has learned, but apparently not, that all the crap they have tried to throw at Trump, the less sticks. I think with every negative action they take against the POTUS the more they open people's eyes to the corruption that the left is dealing in.
Although the story of how Hillary Clinton paid for the dossier, Obama and Biden's knowledge and participation in spying on the Trump campaign, the FBI's total corruption, and even the CIA's evolvement has been know for a long time, Bongino sheds light on even more damning evidence in this. However as I stated before, the media is in the bag for Biden and the Dems and will do everything they can to amplify all of the fake news about Trump and spike all of the negative stories about Biden so the people are not able to see the real Biden. The investigations are in play and have already yielding damning information about the Obama / Biden corruption. Hopefully if Trump wins re-election, these investigation will move forward and we will once and for all rid ourselves of the corruption at the highest levels of government. The Dems will undoubtedly accuse President Trump for using his powers to go after his detractors which is so ironic being that the Dems were the ones who actually colluded with the Russians to get fake info on Trump, lied under oath to Congress, laid purgers traps,

At first because I wanted justice if Trump was indeed guilty of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" or if he was involved with Russia to fix the election, I wanted him prosecuted and/or removed. But soon I realized that it was not so. I wanted to follow the evidence. Seems that not everyone did the same. Many people walked away from any evidence after the grueling, and in my opinion unwarranted, Mueller investigation and have stuck to the previous fake charges while blinding themselves of any new evidence that would not only exonerate Trump (God forbid) but incriminate the players of the Democratic Party. I have said this on my reviews I have done, if the Right were to hold their politicians accountable and the Democrats the same, they would be forced to operate on the straight and narrow. However instead, each party allows their respective parties to get away we corruption and possible crimes all in the name of party. This would make our country a much better place.

I knew reading this book would make me mad, and it did. The level of corruption in the Deep State is truly disgusting. Following the labyrinthine connections of those arrayed against President Trump was challenging at times but worth it to see exactly who opposed him. And the final chapter regarding the coronavirus should be a must-read for every American. President Trump's assessment of China is accurate, and with a panty-waist like Biden in the White House, China is going to go back to business as usual. And America will pay the price. Gird your loins, my fellow citizens.

The rating is a 1 because 0 is not an option. Ugh. This is an echo chamber book for Trump cultists. It is neither objective nor well argued. Though I think it is critical to read stuff I might be predisposed to not believe, this was just not worth the time or effort. Pure junk.

Fantastic
I am an avid listener of the Dan Bongino podcast so I knew some of this information but it was nice to have it all pulled together. I learned a lot about China and the WHO. I am confident our President will handle them appropriately. We can only pray that Durham does the right thing. As Dan says daily “ Obama was the worst president we ever had”. Great follow up book to the first two!

Awesome book! Informative and frightening, yet hopeful. Definitely connects the dots of what has been occurring during the concerted effort the past few years to bring the Trump Presidency down and to try and ensure he is not re-elected. Shocking to think that a lot of these players have not only gotten a pass instead of being convicted, but they continue to stir the pot of corruption and misinformation.

Bongino Presents an Air-Tight Case
Dan Bongino does a great job laying out the left leaning Deep State’s case to prosecute President Trump. From the impeachment proceedings, Steel dossier and Russia investigation. I would recommend this book highly to gain a deeper perspective on the attacks against our President.

Wow. I have so many thoughts on this book that I want to share but, I'm still sifting through the 20 pages of references that are presented at the end. One thing I will add for now, I am an avid listener of Dan's podcast and one of the things that I absolutely love is his repeated reference to MoneyBall, "if he's a good hitter, then why isn't he hitting good?" The same can be applied to the term "conspiracy theory". If X is a conspiracy theory, then why is it happening? Right out in the open. This book has given me so much to think about and look up and ironically (considering the title and cover) very little of it has to do with Trump 😂

Dan does a great job of providing even more detail and connections that initially started in Spygate. Follow the Money is a great wrap up to the series and a must read to see just how much money has been influenced to use to take DJT out of office.

I'm not overly up to speed on all the players mentioned in this book - but I feel I know more details of the general events. When is this all going to stop...? When will the media start reporting the real truth? Is this just something we all sit around and wait for? Where's the pressure to be moral? Are people truly this evil or do they just not really understand what they are doing... I wonder.

I saw this book at Target and wanted to learn more so I picked it up. I do believe the Bongino is credible and fact based.
This book mainly addressed the Russian Collision hoax and those who started it, and those who continued it, and Trump's impeachment. There is a lot said about the "Deep State," but until recently I never thought it was this deep or swampy.

This book mainly addressed the Russian Collision hoax and those who started it, and those who continued it, and Trump's impeachment. There is a lot said about the "Deep State," but until recently I never thought it was this deep or swampy.

During my reading of this book, more information has been declassified that has proven more of Mr. Bongino's book true. This information is complex, but Bongino did a great job keeping it readable. There are pages upon pages of footnotes citing all of his claims. It is a great read on the craziness that has gone on during President Trump's first term in office. Too many people in too many common circles to dismiss this as false.

Well documented book on the Russian-influence scandal. Also, some interesting and pertinent theories to motivations regarding China's actions regarding Covid-19 and how it is being used to undermine Trump who has been a thorn in their side.

Word to the wise: After reading Dan Bonginos book one should be very weary of accepting dinner invitations from strangers.. nothing good comes from them.

I wish I read this when it first came out. Dan Bongino connects the pieces of the puzzle together so well and in such a way the layman can understand. He never sounds condescending either. The political games over the years specifically the Trump years are beginning to make sense to me and I have to thank Dan for making me see the connections. Even he said in the book “it’s dizzying” and I concur. I knew politics was a power grab and only a chess master may have a chance to work through DC with maybe minor injuries, but I don’t really think I knew the extent of the confusion it is. Netflix’s show House of Cards is pretty dead on in how DC works. The backstabbing on all sides is amazing. Great job Dan! I look forward to reading your other books for more insight.

Excellent read. I would find most books about politics absolutely boring. I read this book in a few days. Every thing written made the whole mess that America has been suffering through make a little more sense. It certainly gave me plenty to think about. It angers me to no end that our country is being abused by career politicians and it needs to stop. Books like this are a great way to enlighten the public. Thanks for the information.

Follow the Money is an excellent piece of investigative journalism. Dan Bongino does a great job of getting to the facts and connecting the dots about the misdeeds and crimes of the Democrats and Republicans while President Donald Trump was in office. His reporting makes me wonder if America can survive these attacks on the US Constitution. I listened to this book on Audible and Dan Bongino did a great job of narration.

Endless names, dates, places make for a slow read. Bur necessary to gain a full understanding of these 2 points: why it was esential to get rid of Flynn before the deep state could de-fang Trump and painting Hillary Clinton & Obama as the traitors to our democracy that they were.

The mainstream media of old might have written a book if this caliber years ago before they were collectively stricken with “woke”ism. They didn’t have the guts to do what Dan did. Well researched. Just like his show, Dan brings the facts to light with the evidence in hand. I am a regular listener to his show and have heard much of what is found in this book, but still makes me angry to hear it again and in further detail. This book surely makes it look like the dems and the deep state (especially DOJ , the FBI and the intel community are partisan and corrupt . From what we’ve learned since the book was written , we have a real problem that the media is covering up. It’s depressing. It’s an uphill battle but if we don’t fight back we’ll lose the country forever

Typical high quality research of Bongino. It is shocking what evils were perpetrated on the citizens of not only the U.S.A. but also the world. We must have looked like a confused and despicable country to many.
