A cute ending to one of the funniest mangas I've read. Hana was a mood through out the story and she's got to be one my favorite Shoujo manga heroines to date. A great story to have fun reading.

This ending was perfectly what this series needed. I really enjoyed my journey with these characters, and loved seeing them both grow and mature throughout the time we spent with them. It had all of the comedy beats that I needed and wanted from it, and I would love to see more from this mangaka in the future.

“This item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed.” Not sure what’s going on with this but if this posts just know I loved the end of this series so much, it wrapped up perfectly and was a great ending to a really fun series! for some reason my review from when I read it last year is gone!!

What a wonderful series!!
I read this last night, but after I read it I felt disappointed that "nothing happened." Since I have deeply enjoyed reading this series, I wanted to take some extra time to think if I REALLY felt that way. After skimming through it again this morning, no, I don't feel disappointed. While there marriage definitely doesn't look the way I expected, Takane and Hana genuinely remain true to who they are the whole way through. I don't know why I was first expecting them NOT to be their awkward and embarrassed, but it wouldn't have been them if they weren't! LOL!
And of course, leave it to Okamon to help remind Takane of the bigger picture. LOL! Speaking of, he grew and matured so much!! *cries* Even to the very end, I still found myself shipping him with Hana despite that I LOVE seeing their friendship to the very end! (I honestly think that could have been why at first I wasn't extremely happy with the ending because I've been on the Takane and Hana ship and then seeing a bunch of Okamon had me struggling in wanting that ship to sail instead. LOL!)
One thing I was surprised about was seeing a little more into Takane's head/thoughts this volume! I really enjoyed that and really helped in seeing how excited he is.
Overall, this was such a wonderful series! I'm so so so thankful I read it and the wonderful adventure this series took me on. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now that it's over! *sobs*
OH! The bonus stories with the limited edition were SO fun!

Cioè, si sono dati ben tre baci! L'autrice non avrà esagerato un po'? In fondo, se ne sono scambiati solo due in diciassette numeri. Avrei preferito di più sul dopo matrimonio rispetto alle vicende raccontate prima dell'evento, anche se la questione della casa è stata interessante. Questo manga mi è piaciuto tantissimo all'inizio, poi è diventato una reiterazione dei soliti fatti. Almeno è finito come doveva finire.

"Докато тази манга се развиваше, героите в нея постепенно се превръщаха в хора." - Това е съвсем вярно, защото всички те успяха да се превърнат от комедийни образи в (донякъде) улегнали характери, които да те карат да се усмихваш дори само на най-обикновеното им щастие. В това отношение - изграждането на образи - за мен авторката се справи прекрасно.
Преди много, много време, Такане се появи с една камила (Дълго е за обяснение...) и ме спечели категорично. От този момент нататък беше решено и съответно постигнато - тези 18 тома бяха осигурени на хартия и стоят фантастично в колекцията манга, като единствената засега събрана цялостно история :D
Това е много жива, действена, хумористична история, заключила между страниците си много шеги (по класически японски манга стил, ако не ги откриете случайно!), радост, нелепости от живота и щастие. История тъкмо такава, каквато понякога искам да притежават много от другите манга истории в жанра. Всички знаем - понякога животът е тежък, затова драмата между кориците на книгите невинаги е най-доброто лечение. При Такане и Хана няма драми... освен вероятно драмата на Хана за това как да се отърве от всииичките тези рози :D
Разбира се, че "не е нищо ново". И че е "поредната age gap история, от ония, странните, дето само японците ги измислят"... Точно като много други заглавия с подобна тематика, "Такане и Хана" със сигурност ще трябва да потърпи доста критики и плюене у нас. За съжаление, едва ли ще има много хора, които ще дадат шанс на поредицата, защото ще са съсредоточени в това да говорят за това как еди-какво си не било редно. Надявам се някой ден хората от този тип да започнат да осъзнават едно простичко нещо - това е японска история, родена в страна, където подобни неща исторически са се случвали и приемали по по-различен начин, отколкото на Запад. А е възможно и още да се случват, честно казано. Научете се да приемате културните различия и наследство на различните страни... ще откриете много изненади :D

Satisfying conclusion to this shoujo manga series! Really fun.

Dopo aver concluso questa serie la prima cosa che ho pensato è stata: "cacchio, mi mancheranno questi due cretini!"
Takane & Hana è stata una serie non convenzionale, che stravolge tutti i cliché degli shoujo manga. Scene romantiche? Il 90% delle volte non andrá come deve andare perchè Takane fará una figura barbina e Hana gli ruberá la scena ridicolizzandolo ancora di più! Eppure quel 10% in cui ci sono e sono ben riuscite, acquistano più valore, emozionando maggiormente il lettore...perchè sono più importanti in quel contesto e con questi due protagonisti. È stata una continua lotta tra loro e, nonostante sia stato difficile fargli capire che si erano davvero innamorati, qualcuno alla fine doveva cedere in questa partita.
Scene esilaranti, dialoghi assurdi, vestiti e regali improponibili...rose. Un tripudio di rose sempre! Tutto questo condisce una trama non banale: i problemi di famiglia di Takane e la sua determinazione a farsi valere nell'azienda, la relazione tra i due protagonisti che viene mantenuta segreta, l'accoppiata ragazzo ricco/comune liceale, rivali in amore e...la differenza di etá non ben vista. Quest'ultimo punto inoltre è stato ben gestito perchè non si scade mai in scene che possano risultare "cringe"...dopo un po' ce ne se dimentica persino!
Ogni aspetto della serie infatti viene affrontato con ironia dall'autrice. Persino i momenti più "drammatici", persino i momenti più significativi...ti lasciano quel senso di leggerezza che ha sempre contraddistinto questo manga. Non nego che più di una volta leggere Takane & Hana mi ha risollevato l'umore!
Takane ha un ego smisurato, scemo da morire ma con Hana non è stato mai superficiale...ha fatto sempre la cosa giusta con lei, proteggendola e spronandola a suo modo. Hana dal canto suo ha spesso il compito di riportarlo con i piedi per terra e gli tiene testa ogni volta. Frizzante e coraggiosa, mai in grado di farlo annoiare. Incurante dei suoi millemila soldi, regali e ristoranti di lusso. Sono stati due protagonisti che ho amato da singoli ma risultano perfetti insieme, diversi da tutti.
La Shiwasu inserisce anche vari personaggi secondari altrettanto bizzarri che rendono le vicende sempre dinamiche. I disegni non sono tra i miei preferiti ma comunque godibilissimi e a volte resi appositamente assurdi per divertire.
La serie poteva forse concludersi con un paio di volumi in meno ma personalmente a me non ha mai annoiato! Sono molto contenta che abbiamo avuto la possibilità di avere anche il booklet di epilogo in allegato all'ultimo volume...una chicca che i fan di Takane & Hana sicuramente non possono perdersi!

I devoured the series over the course of a couple of months. Took a little longer than I hoped because a few of them decided to take forever from Amazon. Hana ends up roped into taking her older sisters place in a marriage match never expecting that anything would come from it. Instead a we get a very sweet comical whirlwind romance between her and Takane.
I ended up reading the first one and instantly ordering the rest of them it's such a cute series kind of a enemies to lover romance between them. I loved Hana she's an adorable character and I think because of her I'm going to do bubblegum pink hair next. Each manga has the pair growing as characters. Takane had a lot of growing to do but he get's there eventually.
The artwork is as equally lovely as the story. I was captivated right from the start and fell in love with Hana and Takane's story. This is one of my favorite series that I'm so glad I purchased the set. They will always have a special place on my bookshelf and I know they will get some re-reads as I wasn't ready to say goodbye just yet. I plan to read the authors other manga as I loved this one so much. Highly recommend a perfect sweet romance.

I don't think I was ready for the end of the series but I didn't want to put it off. Overall the ending was cute but I don't think each single chapter held up to same level as some from the last few volumes. Despite that, I still just love these 2 together. While the wedding didn't go exactly as I thought it would, I still think it was perfect because it fit the characters. If nothing else I can say the mangaka stayed true to Takane & Hana throughout the entire series and I can appreciate this. I do wish there could've been more of a look after life after several years of them being married. I think that's might be part of the limited edition bonus content so I need to see about getting a physical copy of this.
I really loved this series from beginning to end. I hope that we get to see more manga from this mangaka translated to English.

I'm so happy to have finally had the conclusion to Takane and Hana's story. I've read this manga since it first came out years ago, and I couldn't help but start adoring the characters. I can't wait to read more of this mangaka works.

I have loved every moment of this series far more than I ever thought I would. However, I expected a bit more bang for the finale. This reads like an average volume that ties up various odds and ends or stretches the story out for the finale, and then it quietly wraps everything up. There are some truly cute, sweet, and funny moments, but it feels like it's missing something. I love the bonus stories. They capture the overall essence of the series better than most of these chapters. I adore these characters, though, and the growth between them is on full display. Sad to say goodbye.

Ahh the ending at their wedding and their kiss! We have come full circle as it was a perfect reflection of their first kiss! This manga made me laugh a lot. I didn’t want to stop reading at all. So many great fun characters.

This super sweet series has come to an end much quieter and chaste than I would have expected from either of these two characters. I would have preferred the storyline if it hadn't been a maneuver of someone else- it didn't feel right that these two totally strong characters were managed like puppies.
I purchased a special edition at B & N that included another slim volume of bonus stories. I liked the bonus stories better. I did absolutely love 'the dress'- shame on Takane for his little outburst.

I never expected to love this so much.
Yes, the age gap is weird but this story made it work so well. Great story with great characters. The humor is the best part of this series. This was definitely one of the best romcoms I have ever read!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

This was a wholesome ending to a chaotic story. While, for me personally, it's missing an extra something to make it a five stars, it was still such a lovely ending to the story.
If you've read volume 17, this one is pretty self-explanatory with Takane and Hana navigating married life and dealing with living together as a couple. There's a lot of the classic sass and jokes. They don't feel overly recycled, and it's honesty really cute to see how worked up Takane gets when he thinks Hana doesn't care that much about stuff or him. He's changed so much from volume 1. Hana too. She's such a strong character in this now, and so opinionated. I love that she never lost her backbone and instead learned to become even stronger throughout this series.
