சென்னையின் முக்கியப் பகுதியான குரோம்பேட்டை ரெயில்வே தண்டவாளத்தில் தலை தனியாக, முண்டம் தனியாக ஒரு சடலம் கிடக்கிறது. அந்த சடலம் கிடந்த ரெயில்வே தண்டவாளத்தை ஒட்டிய காம்பவுண்ட் சுவற்றில் சிவப்பு மையினால் புதிதாக ஒரு குறியீடும் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. இவற்றைக் கவனித்த சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் அகிலன், இந்த சம்பவம் தற்கொலை அல்ல கொலை எனவும் இதுபோன்ற கொலைகள் தொடரும் எனவும் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராகவேந்தரிடம் கூறுகிறார். ஆனால் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராகவேந்தர் அகிலன் கூறியவற்றை மறுத்து தற்கொலை என கேஸை முடிக்கச் சொல்கிறார். அகிலன் கூறியது போலவே அடுத்தடுத்து அந்த பகுதிகளில் உடல்கள் சிதைக்கப்பட்ட கொடூர கொலைகள் நடக்கின்றன. சடலங்கள் கிடைத்த இடங்களில் தண்டவாள காம்பவுண்ட் சுவற்றில் இருந்த சிவப்பு மையினால் எழுதப்பட்ட குறியீடும் இருக்கிறது. இந்த கொலைகளை செய்தது யார், அந்த குறியீட்டின் பின்னணி என்ன என அகிலன் தன் கல்லூரித் தோழி 'டிடெக்டிவ் நவீனா' வுடன் சேர்ந்து கண்டறிந்து அடுத்து நடக்கவிருக்கும் கொலைகளை தடுக்க முயற்சிக்கிறார். அடுத்தடுத்து என்ன நடக்கும் என விறுவிறுப்பாக நகரும் 'சஸ்பென்ஸ் த்ரில்லர்' நாவல்.

Nice writing weak motive

Good story, elaborate plot. Senior junior connection logic is good...

Motive of the killer looks little impractical..
Also, the author has put an elaborative plot but author's craft for writing is not working out well.
Some sentences are not clean.

Overall good but there is room fir improvement.

Adding timelines to su h stories will make more interesting. The clues were easy to find out.

பல எதிர்பாராத திருப்பங்களையும் கதாபாத்திரங்களும் சரியாகப் பொருத்தப்பட்டு திருப்தி அளிக்கும் கதையின் முடிவும் புத்தக தலைப்பிற்கான வலுவான காரணமும் ஒருங்கே அமையப்பெற்ற விறுவிறுப்பான சஸ்பென்ஸ் த்ரில்லர்.. க்ரைம் த்ரில்லர் பிரியர்கள் கண்டிப்பாக படிக்க வேண்டிய புத்தகம்...!

விறுவிறுப்பாக நகரும் கதை அமைப்பு. கல்லூரிகளில் மாணவர்கள மேல் நடக்கும் அதிகாரவர்க்கத்தின் அடக்குமுறையை மேம்போக்காக சொல்லாமல் சஸ்பென்ஸ் த்ரில்லர் வழியே கடத்தியது இந்நாவலின் சிறப்பம்சம்....!!

Vijayakumar Tamilanban is brilliant at creating a menacing atmosphere. Not only does the plot keep the reader guessing, the characters are well-drawn.
