Two murders. A kidnapped journalist. Can one reporter stop a crime spree before it hits too close to home? England, 1923. Crime reporter Lillie Mead has just returned from sabbatical in France and is ready to get back to work. She hasn’t even had time to unpack before a body turns up at an annual rowing regatta and she is once again knee deep in the thick of it.
Racing against the clock to discover a missing story and reveal a sinister past, Lillie finds herself firmly entrenched in a complicated history of events. As she attempts to unravel the threads while balancing her increasingly complicated personal life, Lillie’s entire future is threatened.
Will this lone reporter uncover the pieces of the story and stop a murderer in his tracks?
All the Pieces is the fifth standalone book in the Lillie Mead Historical Mystery Series. If you like determined sleuths, the Roaring Twenties, and sinister twists, then you’ll love Lisa Zumpano’s captivating whodunit.
I really like this series. And l like the direction the plot was going although I had already figured out some of it. i will keep following this author and series. Try them, I think that you will like them too.
I continue to enjoy this excellent series, the characters are irresistible and the plots very ingenious. The continuing story of Lillie and Daniel adds some intrigue and spice. I also enjoy the time period of early 1920s.
Another great book. Cannot believe how this series just continues to keep me guessing...although I had already figured out who the murderer was before Lillie did! One more to go...
Not my favourite in the series. Don't like stories with blood and guts. Especially guts. I will continue to read the next book to see where this all going.
This is a great series. Characters are strong and believable. No silly unbelievable characters and situations found I so many series. Storylines are gripping and thoughtful. So glad I found this series. Can’t wait to keep reading.
