Trust is hard to find when you don’t know who will turn their back on you. After going through some rough crap in life, I know the only ones who won’t are my brothers. They have my back, and I have theirs.
When all hell is about to break lose I knew I should've told my sister I couldn’t do it. You see, my sister asked me to watch a woman, one of her friends' who had been through it recently. I wondered why she'd ask something like this of me. Hell, I didn’t have time to babysit some woman. A stranger nonetheless. It'd be different if she was one of my brothers' ol' ladies.
Then it happened, she walked through those doors at the club and I could see she was gonna be trouble. The look in her eyes made me realize she had been through some trauma, but there was also some fire too. It didn't make sense, considerin' she was scared of her own shadow and all.
She refused to be around anyone else except me. I don't know what my sister told her, but she's stuck to me like glue now.
How the hell can this woman trust me when she doesn’t even know a damn thing about me?
Tensions rise when the monsters come out of the shadows. To face the creatures, I’ll have to jump through the flames.
The only thing I'm not sure of is if this woman will be jumping by my side.
To be in the Inferno’s Clutch MC you gotta be able to handle the fire. Can she?
I am basically a newbie with this author since I’ve only read one other book they’ve written but I’m ready to just #oneclick everything. I’ve been on an mc romance kick for a while now and I’m super picky about which author’s work I invest in because when it comes to mc romance, you can’t just read one. They don’t actually ever end LOL the brotherhood always/mostly has their own story arc. So this is me, telling you that this author is worth the time and investment if you like mc romances.
I really enjoyed the development in this story, especially the relationship between the two leads. They are both strong characters but differently and that makes them fit like a glove. The steps in their journey were perfectly matched to their personalities and I fell in love with them instantly! The story of course has its share of drama and suspense, but I didn’t find it dark or angsty. It really is a great start to an mc romance, and I would rec it highly to anyone!
This is a nail-bitingly suspenseful and fast-paced romantic suspense novel. I seem to be reading a lot of “firsts in a series” that aren’t really firsts in a series, and this is the case for “Chain’s Trust”, the “first” in the Inferno’s Clutch series. This is a spin-off from the author’s other series. There are a lot of established characters that are briefly introduced in this book, and I felt a little confused throughout. Considering the short length of the book, the author didn’t put much time into establishing characters she’s apparently previously established. Ordinarily, I’d appreciate this, but it is the “first in a series”, so readers like me who are diving into her world at this point generally need a little more than that. Despite my general confusion and serious sense of missing out on whatever had happened previously, I did enjoy this love story and the author did a great job of writing a cohesive and suspenseful storyline alongside a sweet romance in such a short book. 4 stars.
Chains Trust by E.C. Land is book 1in the Infernos Clutch series. It's a simple short MC Romance, it starts gets to the point then ends, personally I would of liked it a little longer with a little more storyline but what we get still makes it an easy enjoyable read. I definitely recommend it if you want easy and with bikers 📖
Too insta everything. Heroine was raped previously in another book and seemed she was more afraid of her cult leading father finding her than her rapist which I believe was still alive? Very confusing. She seemed to be a-okay with moving so quickly into sex with the hero Chains despite her trauma and scared she was of living life normally. Unbelievable. And yeah boring.
Tiny has been through so much, her friend asks her brother Chains to watch out for her. When they meet, sparks fly but can Tiny handle the person Chains is especially when his MC may be headed for a fight? Fast-paced read with lots of drama, emotion and steam. Great characters and an entertaining read. I liked it.
Chains Trust is a Motorcycle Club / romance book about the Inferno's Clutch MC. We meet our male MC Chains He's the president of Inferno's Clutch. He's your typical biker who is dedicated to his MC and only trusts his club brothers. But he has a soft spot for his sister of course. His sister asks him to help her friend Tiny whom is having a rough time. She's experienced some heavy trauma recently.... but finds that she truly feels safe / comfortable wtih Chains which is a big deal after her trauma. They both are immeidately attracted to each other, but they play it slow, which is honestly refreshing to see for once. Tiny needed time to heal, and Chains helped with that.
There are definitely triggers in this book, so be mindful of that. But overall this was a great read. I"ll definitely read others in the series.
There just seems too many holes left. Tiny and the cult. The club and Delaney. More background on Tiny.
Also if you were badly raped and beaten and you are totally afraid how can going to another MC club help you. Wouldn’t you need some therapy. She sound like she needs a TON from other experiences. Also if the other club cared for her so much they never checked in on her till the end and they were just like bye see you later when they dropped her off.
Chains is part of the Inferno's Clutch MC and doesn't trust anyone but his club brothers. He agrees to help his sister's friend Tiny since she's had some past trouble. Tiny has been through hell but she comes to Inferno's Clutch to be with her friend and ends up meeting Chains. Chains is the only guy that makes her feel safe after her trauma. Chains is reluctant to get involved with her at first but things get pretty heavy soon after the meeting. A mc read with some triggers possible for some readers.
I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am leaving a review.
I read this in one sitting, because I could not put it down. Tiny seemed weak and fragile, but she turned out to be much stronger than we thought. Loved it.
Tiny had a rough start in life, and it didn’t look like it got any easier for her. With Tiny’s post-attack fear so raw, she was given the option of going to Chains’ club, The Inferno Clutch MC. Chains is the president of the MC and as soon as he sees her, though he wouldn’t have thought she was his type, he is attracted to her and completely dedicated to protecting her. He is also quick to notice that, despite her fear and timidity, her eyes flash with strength and courage, so she still has a fighting spirit inside. Those who think her size makes her weak will have a nice surprise when they try to intimidate her. At that initial meeting with Chains, Tiny finds that she is attracted to him as well but makes no move to pursue anything, figuring a connection with him would never be a possibility anyway.
I liked how Chains takes things slowly with Tiny once he realizes he wants her but must acknowledge her damage and let her heal. The story line was strong and the characters were well-portrayed. This story is filled with drama, suspense, and romance, any of which can turn on a dime and take the reader to a whole new set of activities or in a completely different direction. It is well-paced and definitely can hold the reader’s interest.
We’ve read about Chains and Tiny separately in other EC Land books. This book blocks up where Owning Victoria left off and is a spin off series. Tiny has went to Chains club to heal after what happened to her. Chains is immediately attracted to her but knows she has been through a lot. I loved their connection and can’t wait to read more of this new series.

Chains Trust is a spin off series from the authors Devils Riots Originals books. While it can probably be enjoyed as a standalone, I'd HIGHLY recommend reading the first two books in that series. What brings Tiny to the MC is in book 1, and Chains is introduced, and we spend part of book 2 in this MC. Also characters from the Originals series visit, as well as the Devils Riots books.
That being said, this book was worth the wait!! Tiny went through a horrible experience, and in order to heal, was sent to the Infernos and Chains specifically. We learn more about Tiny, and her backstory, and fall in love with her right along with Chains. She's gone through so much, and is broken down at first. She has a lot of insecurity, and feels less than due to her past. I would have liked more of her past, because while we learn about it, theres more i feel could have been developed. With Chains, and her new MC, she grows and becomes another strong E.C. Land heroine. Chains is HOT, and the perfect fit for his Bitsy (his nickname for her). We learn more about him, and his past drama comes back to haunt him.
The book reads fast. There's drama, violence, suspense, and hot sex scenes. Some CW drama, but not the usual trope in the DRMC and originals books. Some of the story about Chains' past could have been developed a bit more, but everything else was great. The ending will hit you in the feels and leave you wanting more! That's all I will say, i don't want to give away too much. There is a HEA, but a cliffhanger too.
All in all, great book 1 in the new series, and I can't wait for the rest of the books, and more of Chains and Tinys story.

*WARNING* an adults only book I guess this was an okay book. My problem with this book is that the female MC, Sloane gets raped and beaten so badly that she barely survives. Sloane feels so afraid that she can't stay with the club that it happened at and is moved to a member's brother's club. Now that she's at the brother's club she immediately gets all hot and bothered by a handsome face as soon as she walks in the door? That's just no way realistic. Another issue was they talked up the cult that Sloane or Tiny ran away from. How her father ran from the cult and still looks for her. It was probably half way through that talk of the cult just disappeared, so I'm left wondering if it's still an issue or....poof it's just gone? We still have the other Delancy, where is he? This just left to many things up in the air for me.
E.C. Land has done it AGAIN!! Out of all her books so far Chains and Tiny are one of my absolute favorite couples. We’ve seen Tiny a few times in the Devils Riot MC: Originals and now we get her story. We were left with a few questions about her by the end of Owning Victoria and they are answered in Chains Trust. E.C. grabbed my heart and attention from the very beginning and hasn’t let go. Can’t wait for more from her in very near future. You go girl!! 🖤❤️🖤
These women kick some butt tiny is going to make a great addition to the women who know how to handle themselves but I did feel as if the book was to short I wanted more but that's the mark of a good nook. I want more
DNF. So poorly written, it was difficult to read. Character development was awkward, choppy and frankly unbelievable. Did not enough at all...might have just been the writing style which I found most unpleasant and amateurish.
I like this author but I'm going to say this is a 3.4 and I'll explain why after I give a brief synapses of the basic story.
Tiny frome the Devils Riot MC has suffered allot first her childhood at the hands of a cult then she was on the streets finally ending up at the Devils Riot MC after more trauma she has to get distance so she goes to the Inferno’s Cluch MC and Victoria's brother Chain's is the president of.
Chains took over when his uncle nolonger wanted to be in charge of the Inferno’s Cluch he doesn't trust women since the one he thought would be with him betrayed him now its whatever stray he's in the mood for his basically a good guy for a biker not as rough as allot of the MC presidents I have read about in other books in this genre he likes Tiny write away but he tries to resist her shes been hurt and he doesn't trust his emotions.
That's the good parts the sex is about what you would expect the one battle scene ends abruptly there's not allot of gore and the plot was okay it just needed more story everything seemed to end too soon. My major issue I felt Tiny and Chain's relationship went to fast first she's afraid of men and basically everything then all the sudden she's ready for a relationship and sex after being rapped there was no natural progression of events from trauma to being healthy and whole again it was just hey baby I love you let's get it on. That's why I'm only giving this book 3.4 stars. This is of course my personal opinion and may not be what someone else thinks after reading this book.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
As always please pay attention to the author’s trigger warnings. With this book our author will also include a timeline note. She mentions a book that if you haven’t read yet, and since you wouldn’t have started this one yet, go back and read that book first.
Chains is a man who gets things done. Tiny is a little gunshy with good reason. These two couldn’t be more opposite. There was something there though that they can’t ignore. And you won’t be able to ignore their story either. You’ll find that once you start, you won’t stop - before the day is out you’ll find that you finished the book.
I just recently got hooked on this author’s work and have a lot of catching up to do. Even though there are different series, I'm finding that some of her characters appear/will appear elsewhere. That just means that for my foreseeable future I have a lot of books to check out. These two characters are just one reason – wanting to find the books where they may have made an appearance.
With this being such a short story, I’ve found that I want more. I find that Chains has a sister. Now I want to know what her story is. So as soon as I can, I will have to check out Owning Victoria. And don’t get me started on other people I’ve met here. As for the ending, wait until you get there – it will leave you on pins and needles.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
This story had me hooked from the very first page — grit, loyalty, trauma, and that perfect blend of protectiveness and heat that makes MC romances so addictive. The brotherhood dynamic was solid (love me a man who lives by “my brothers have my back”), and the connection between the main characters built fast but felt real.
The heroine’s mix of fear and quiet fire was beautifully done — you can feel how much she’s been through, and yet she’s still standing, still fighting. And him? A tough, loyal, no-nonsense man who finds himself unexpectedly drawn to the one woman who trusts him when she can’t trust anyone else. Their chemistry? 🔥🔥🔥
If I have one complaint, it’s that it ended way too soon. I wasn’t ready to let go of these two or the Inferno’s Clutch world just yet. It had all the makings of a full-length story, and I would’ve happily devoured more.
So yeah — five stars for the story, one star taken by sadness because it was over before I was ready.
This was on meh book. I don’t think I’ll be continuing on with this new to me author. The writing was...jolty, if that makes sense. It wasn’t smooth, seemed like chunks were missing and felt rushed through a lot of it. Tiny was meant to be this “damaged” girl but I didn’t get that feeling at all. Parts of her backstory was there but huge chunks were missing, like the story itself. LOL
I’m not sure if this was the author’s first attempt at a book, but I hope she’s gotten better with time. Besides all of the editing issues it did not flow very well and seems like it was a story partially told. Add to that it was a cliffhanger and I don’t like those at all.
It had great potential and could have been amazing but it just wasn’t. I wish this author luck but I do not recommend this book or this author. Pity, I love MC books but have no want or desire to read anymore from this author. I’m glad this was a freebie because I’d have felt robbed.
This is the 1st in the Inferno MC story and is Clutch and Tiny’s story. Tiny has been traumatised after an attack, and has withdrawn from her club family, and when Clutch’s sister asked him to look after her at his MC he reluctantly agrees, as he is the President and his club has its own set is issues and problems to deal with. As soon as these two meet the attraction is sizzling and Tiny / Mouse is getting stronger by the day. Can Clutch protect Tiny from the danger which is getting closer? This is a well written tale which is raw and gritty, and filled with drama, angst, twists, suspense, emotions, violence, and passion which all leads to a steamy and all-consuming read. I was hooked throughout, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all MC lovers.
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. It does feature characters from the Devils Riot MC series. While there are some dark topics, overall this is a safe MC story.
Triggers: memories of rape, violence, kidnapping
Spoilers: Chains, prez of the Infernals Clutch MC. brother of Victoria (Owning Victoria, Devils Riot MC , Originals b2)
Tiny, tough childhood. lived on the streets until she came to the Devils Riot MC. After a tragedy happened at the MC, Tiny is left afraid of everything.
Stoney, Prez of Devils Riot MC (B1 Devils Riot MC Originals) sends Tiny to stay with the Infernal Clutch MC in hopes that she will recover there. A nice progression in the storyline between Chains and Tiny.
Tiny and Chains worked. I was wondering how it would go, but the author worked the plot and it was good, exciting, with a growing angst that keeps you turning the pages. Tiny, the lead female, was impressive. She was introverted after the abuse, but she was true to her emotions and pain without being irritating and that’s a feat in itself. The abrupt ending was awful and I don’t recall this author dropping a story like that. I read her blurb at the front of this book and wondered why would that type of statement about the characters in this book would be made. Now, it makes sense but it doesn’t excuse the abrupt ending, so I removed the fifth star from my rating.
This fast paced, action packed read starts where Owning Victoria from the Devil's Riot MC series ended. This may be a new club, but the drama, steam, and twists are what I've come to expect from E.C. Land. Chains is Victoria's older brother and president of the Inferno's Clutch MC. Tiny, also introduced in OV, after being brutally attacked and raped by the Jackel, decides she feels safer with Chains MC. Being with Chain and his MC has been good for Tiny and the spirited, determined woman comes back. Although afraid of men, Chain is patient, gentle, and protective of Tiny. I loved the flow of the story, well paced, steamy, and an overall great start to the new series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
There is no character development making them seem 2 dimensional. Bitsy has trauma that she brings to her new home after her brutal rape and beating at the hands of an enemy club. To escape bad memories she goes to stay with another club and instantly falls smitten with Chains. Before you know it they share a semi relationship status and all seems well.
There was no development of the day to day, or how Bitsy realizes that she can trust Chains. It all happens way too quickly in my opinion. I would have liked to see the author take time to really flesh out Chains and Bitsy interactions, I would have also liked to see how Bitsy moves past her trauma.
I read Chain's Trust before realizing I should have read Stoney's Property. No biggie, I'm going back and doing that series first before reading more in the Inferno Clutch MC. Chains and Tiny's story doesn't disappoint. He has no idea what he was agreeing to when a traumatized woman form the MC his sister is married into, comes to his club for protection. Tiny is terrified and has reason to be. Not only for what happened to her a year ago, but for how she was raised. The scene with her sleeping on the floor and why was heartbreaking to me. Though she was still a little firecracker despite the horrors she has endured. And their chemistry is right on the mark. I will for sure be finishing the series after going through the prior one first.
The storyline had potential sure... but the writing was BAD and childish. It was all over the place. Jumping from one subject to another so fast that I had to re-read some paragraphs to understand what the hell is going on.
Another thing that didn’t work for me was the “OMG-he-is-the-hottest-guy-I-have-ever-seen-so-lets-forget-what-I’ve-been-through...” and I’m like... Girl really???? Tiny suffered a big trauma and and just brushed it off because he’s hot? Things moved way too fast for me.
And third thing that drives me crazy... why writers always feel the need to write about small, poor, and miserable heroine??? We women are STRONG!!! Stop making the heroine a crying baby! It’s annoying as hell.
Ended up DNF at 60%. I couldn't enjoy the instant everything in this...I can understand attraction but for the FMC to have such a traumatic and brutal past but to just be instantly into the MMC and trust him? It didn't make sense. The MMC sees her and instantly lays claim, after saying he wasnt interested in having anyone in his life seriously. The author writes their initial meet and then it just skips a few weeks later and you miss any gradual build up of them getting to know each other and then he's claimed her. I think it just gave of a superficial feel. Plus at 60% in not much has actually happened; there's no felt chemistry, no plot development, no dealing or struggling with her trauma. They're had a couple meetings, been to the shops and consummated.
