Paying tribute to her Nana and making stories to tell her future grandkids
Lance is an officer with the Stryker County Police Department and finds himself chatting with one of the local gas station store owners one evening when a beautiful young woman at the back of the store catches his attention.
Caitlan Warnos is on a mission to pay tribute to her Nana. She has invited her best friend Valerie along and they have stopped at a gas station store so she can buy a pocket knife. At twenty-four she lives on her own, works full-time, pays her bills and always obeys the law. You see her father is Chief Warnos and she is always afraid anything she does he will find out about. But tonight she is going to break the law, well bend it a bit actually. Caitlan's Nana was a woman that lived a fun and exciting life telling all sorts of stories to Caitlan, sometimes with TMI. She had always encouraged Caitlan to live a little and loosen up.
Lance and Caitlan meet in the store when she goes up to the counter to pay for her items, as she also grabbed a number of other things so she does not look suspicious. Then she and Valerie head on their way to the Stryker Country sign so she can carve her name alongside her grandparents names. This is the anniversary of the night they had snuck out to the sign and then also decided to elope. Well you can just guess how this new "law-breaker"fairs as before she can even get three letters done the red and blue lights appear along the highway by the sign. Luckily for Caitlan it is Lance and he recognizes her.
This is a funny, as in laugh out loud, deliciously sweet and dirty sexy short story. I loved story as it and and characters have a lot of heart and emotion. I recommend this book

Caitlin wants to pay tribute to her grandparents on the anniversary of when they eloped. So with the help of a friend they purchased what they would need plus a few other items and went to the sign her grandparents had carved their names in. But before they could even make it out of the store they run into Lance a cop that worked for Caitlin's dad. Lance knew by looking at them that they were up to no good but nothing could've prepared him for what. When he is called out to the sign and finds Caitlin hiding on it and has to help her down off it. Then he doesn't turn her in which shocks Caitlin. Lance knew that his attraction to her probably was going to cause some problem with his boss. But it wasn't going to stop him from claiming his woman. What was her dad going to do about them being together? Would this cost Lance his job?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Sweet short Insta love story Lance is a police officer who sees Caitlin for the first time in a convenient store. She’s buying a little penknife so she can carve her name in the back of their county sign as a tribute to her Nana who passed away a year ago. Caitlin is very nervous, she is extremely law abiding but wants to be bold and wild, like her Nana. While she’s up at the sign trying to carve her name someone calls the police and Lance is the responding officer. He has Caitlin come down and while talking to her feels such a connection, they kiss. Caitlin feeling bold asks Lance to take her home with him. Lance is a little concerned because she is his chief’s daughter but still feels she is his one! The next morning the chief shows up at their house and Lance tells him he loves her and wants to marry her. Caitlin loves him too and decide that she’s old enough to stand up to her dad. Cute epilogue adorable story.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Lance is book three in the ‘’Stryker county PD’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. After the recent passing of her grandmother, Caitlin decides to be a rebel. Lance wants Caitlin as soon as he meets her but she is his bosses daughter.
The chemistry between Lance and Caitlin is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

When Lance receives a call about vandalls at the city sign, he doesn't expect to see Caitlin there. When he has to go and rescue her, sparks fly everywhere and he does not want to take her in, but wants to take her home like the book info tells.
I love this addition to the series and flew trough the book in no time, a real page turner I would love to read again when the series is complete and I will devour all of them once again.

A sweet fast pace instalove book three in the Stryker County PD series! The story line is well-developed, entertaining, well written, funny, and steamy. Endearing characters; their chemistry is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

Love these series
Great book.
Lance knew at the has station he wanted Caitlin but she was the chiefs daughter. He called the call about vandalism on a sign he went a found her there she wanted to put her name on the sign like her nana and grandpa had.
One year to the date from when she first meet Lance they went to the sign to put their names on it.

I liked this story a lot. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting. Valerie was a great friend, even with what happened the next day.

Caitlin, Miss Straight-as-an-Arrow, is going to do something that her grandmother did back in the day, and I love the closeness that she still feels. Lance just knows he's stepping in it big-time, but I like that he's willing to suffer the consequences to stay with his woman. I really love the epilogue!

Im unlucky in love so i just shook my head at how quickly the story moved along, but the series was a great quick read for a fun filled weekend away camping.
