Emblem: Unity

Most people go about unaware of the existence of hosts, elevated humans who have been bonded to powerful familiars known as synthirs. The realm of hosts is wrought with power struggles and politics, only made more dangerous by the magical abilities developed by hosts and their synthirs. The bonding event that creates hosts can happen to seemingly anyone at any time and thrust them into the middle of these conflicts. This is unfortunately what happens to Syrus Ward, a boy disillusioned with life and struggling to cope with violent and dark mental breaks. The last thing he needed was to be eternally attached to a creature that won’t leave him alone and roped into the political games of a super powered megalomaniac.
