A missing victim. A deceitful family. And a detective too close to come out unscathed.
Detective Edward Petrosky has seen his share of horrors—abused children, terrified assault victims, and of course, the vicious predators who don’t stop killing until someone like Petrosky puts them away. It’s no wonder he needs a little whiskey to take the edge off.
So he’s relieved when he gets a call on a burglary—he’ll take stolen laptops over dead bodies any day. But he quickly learns this is no ordinary housebreak. There’s a considerable amount of blood at the scene, though the owner doesn’t appear injured. And Petrosky recognizes him as a man accused of sexual assault years prior; his psycho relatives are more cult than family.
When the neighbors identify their burglary suspect, the case goes sideways—it’s not possible. How could a woman who burned to death along with her husband nearly a decade before, a relative of the homeowner, be the one fleeing the crime? If the witnesses are correct, and the woman faked her death…that means she murdered her own husband. What possible reason could she have to return?
It doesn’t help that Shannon, Petrosky’s surrogate daughter and wife of his murdered partner, appears to be at the center of the conspiracy. Years of deception have masked a far more intricate web of lies, filled with secrets that implicate the people Petrosky loves most. And with these criminals tying up loose ends, Shannon’s life is at stake.
Petrosky must decide how deep he’s willing to go, knowing that exposing the truth could rip apart a terrified woman’s family…and his own.

Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O'Flynn is another wonderful dark thriller in this series. It will have you so twisted around and turned inside out that you won’t know which way is up or down. Such is Meghan’s writing that it becomes all-encompassing and there are a lot of moving parts. Meghan is a master at writing psychological thrillers as evidenced by this series and the sinister plot webs she weaves so intricately and skilfully.
This dark tale sees us taking a look into the darker and deeper side of Petrosky as he once again is on the case of a killer or killers.
I got so twisted up and turned around that I had to keep going back and rereading things! And even then, EVEN after all the slow reveals and shocking moments, she did it again at the end. And then AGAIN at the very VERY end. What a ride.
So, Witness has Petrosky at his hot mess level (I'm pretty worried about the guy at this point), but he's still so good at his job. As is his partner. They definitely butted heads on this case. And Shannon is in this story, yay! I mean, not yay for the circumstances, because it's ya know, a criminal investigation and all. But I love her and I love her closeness with the detective.
I love this series, and this was no exception. Witness was fast paced and very well thought out down to the last detail.
Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) Witness is the thrilling ninth book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. I know that I say this with every new release, but this series get better, and more compelling, the further we go as each new instalment manages to slightly eclipse the previous book- leading me on an gripping, intense, and unpredictable ride, giving me many chills and thrills along the way. As with the previous books in the series, I was completely engrossed in what I was reading. I have long been invested in Detective Edward Petrosky, and his investigations- so it was a given that I would be following along on this case to find out the latest development/s. Ms. O’Flynn writes such vividly detailed and descriptive stories that I feel like I am right there experiencing everything right alongside the character/s- becoming completely absorbed by the story. This book is another cleverly crafted, police-procedural, crime and investigation story with fully realised, slightly flawed character/s. It’s full of raw, gripping, shocking, and totally intriguing developments that had me flipping the pages madly to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read “Savage” (Book 10). Compelling and Addicting Reading!
This is a series I have loved from the first book. This is the ninth in the series which I highly suggest reading all of the previous books to help your enhancement of this series. This is a well written story that is full of action and suspense. I loved being pulled into the story from the beginning. I had no problems relating to the characters as they bring the story to life. Detective Petrosky, who is my favorite character, is back in another mystery of a missing person. He is a determined man out to find the truth and his man. He really makes the story for me. It is fun and entertaining. I highly recommend reading this book to find out if the truth tears down a family or builds one up.
Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park series. It can be read as a standalone. This book was not a quick read for me. It has a lot of moving pieces to follow so you have to pay attention or you will miss important details. Definitely a page-turner as the complexity of the mystery keeps you engaged with the story. There are several ways the story could turn out and it will keep you guessing to the end.
Just like all of the other books in this series, I absolutely loved this one and found it near impossible to put down. I do wish that the reader found out what Petrosky said to Gregano at the end to make him blow himself up and let Shannon leave with Petrosky. But I love the way the end of the book leads so nicely to the next one.

Another addition to this series that will blow your mind! I stayed up all night after driving 10 hours just so I could finish it! This story's pace makes it so addictive and hard to stop! Family secrets will be brought to light in only a way Meghan O'Flynn can do it!
This book starts with a boy watching a woman giving birth in the presence of “Father” under his watchful gaze, just like all of the other times this had happened, but he couldn’t say or do anything because it would make him angry and that is the last thing he wanted to do.Detective Petrosky and his partner go to investigate a burglary, it is something lighter than the usual predators and their victims, but when he sees an expensive looking watch on the table and nothing else being disturbed, apart from some broken picture frames and a whole lot of blood, it's looking highly likely that the break in was just secondary, especially with who had their house broken into. This new case brings back memories of a old one where domestic abuse was involved until the victim had had time to decompress and quickly retracted their statement and decided not to press charges, but as they question the owner of the house, his answers don’t tally with the evidence inside and it is the same thing when they talk to the neighbour who called it in, her description of the person she saw running away from the house is the same as a case from the past, but the person who is being described is dead adding yet more questions than answers to the case, especially when the blood results come back as a match for the dead person as well, which makes them a lot more alive.
As they try to find more leads to follow, the case becomes more and more bizarre and more questions than answers keep popping up, especially when the dead woman was kidnapped and involved in a car accident not too long before she died in a warehouse fire with her husband a brother in law, even more frustrating is that the case file has disappeared, so they decide to go and talk to someone who was involved. While talking to them, similarities between the dead woman and the domestic abuse victims cases appear, but it still doesn’t give any more clarification, just more questions again. As Petrosky finds out more about the family of the burglary victim, he gets an increasingly bad feeling that there is more to the case than meets the eye, but when he finds out that an old partner was involved in the original case, it leads to more suspicion, but these questions are not ones to be answered as the individual died, but his widow might be able to shed some light on it. When Petrosky suddenly comes across Shannon in the course of the investigation, even though she lives nowhere nearby, she tells him some information which shocks him.
Will Petrosky be able to solve the crime and the mystery surrounding a woman who is supposed to be dead and why she came back, all while battling to keep himself from getting too involved, especially when the case is so close to home? This is a thriller which will keep you guessing until the end and is as action packed as it can be as the detectives try to untangle the web of lies and deceit they find themselves in the middle of.
When you think its a simple Breaking and Entry call, Oh boy how wrong was Edward.
Edward has been through a lot in this series and normally I would give a brief overview of the book but too be honest I don't know where to start or want to give anything away. This book is another winner and with characters so rich and full of flaws and angst you are in for a brilliant read. If you love the physiological aspect within a thriller then you will love this book and this series.
I love the character of Edward but please no more destruction to him, I feel like I'm going to have a breakdown for him, but with everything that happens he seems to brush himself off and carries on as a compulsion he needs to help.
This book is a well thought out, twist upon twist and turns which will have you re-reading places to make sure you have not missed any hints or major plots as this is compelling from the first word to the last. I pride myself in at least by the middle of the book having a clue who or what will happen but Ms O'Flynn you had me guessing all the way through to a god honest Oh my moment at the end. I love the way your writing is intelligent and does not pander to the audience you make us work for the conclusion which is what you want from a great thriller. Although you could read this as a stand alone I would not recommend it, there is snippets of the characters pasts which it would be better to have followed through the journey with them to understand and to be honest why would you skip some of the best thriller stories I have ever read.
Thank you for this brilliant series and look forward to reading the next instalment.
Witness is book nine of Meghan O’Flynn’s ‘Ash Park’ series but each book can be read as a standalone story. This gritty fast paced crime thriller had me gripped from page one and had so many clever twists and turns that it kept me hooked and guessing until the very last page. The main character, Detective Edward Petrosky is a great character who has so many layers to him and an intriguing backstory of his own. The authors detailed descriptions made me feel immersed in the story and I felt as though I was there along side Detective Petrosky. Having seen many horrors in his career, Detective Petrosky is relieved when he gets a call about a burglary. However he soon realises that it’s no ordinary housebreak when he discovers considerable amount of blood at the scene, although the house owner doesn’t appear to be injured. The victim of the burglary is in fact a man who had been accused of sexual assault in the past and who has a dangerous family. To complicate the case further the suspect is a women who apparently died along with her husband in a fire ten years earlier. Petrosky is also concerned about his surrogate daughter and the wife of his murdered partner as they appear to be at the centre of a conspiracy and Shannon’s life is at stake. This has a fast paced storyline and a complicated plot which kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and this one was no different. A great read, which I fully recommend.
Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) by Meghan O’Flynn
5 Stars
I cant believe how much I love this series. This book was a perfect addition and I truly believe this would be an awesome mini series or even weekly series on TV.
This one was not an easy read, and I'll admit I got lost a few times, having to stop and even go back to keep names straight. I had no problem with this because I was so into the story it made sense I wanted to keep things in order. There was a lot going on and even more to keep track of and I loved every second of it.
The end was not what I had expected and this is why I'm so invested in this series and this author. It's amazing how she can twist and turn the words the way she does. Thankfully there was not too much describing some of what went on, but what was revealed had me cringing at times.
You could read this as a standalone, but Petrosky has quite a story in the books leading up to this one and I'm glad I have read all those that came before. The relationship between Petrosky and his partner is one of my favorites of all time.
I can not wait for the next and I truly hope we have many more to come.
Witness is the 9th Book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. The Ash Park series is centred around police detective Edward Petrosky and in this book he’s joined again by his partner Jackson. I didn’t discover this series of books and this author until the 7th book in this series and it’s still my mission to find time to go back and read the 6 books I’ve missed as I really want to get to know Petrosky’s character more. From my knowledge of Witness and the 2 previous books, I can tell he’s had a damn hard time of it in his life and in witness he sinks back into alcoholism again. This is a really brilliant detective story with so many twists and turns that you really don’t know what Meghan O’Flynn is going to throw at you next. What started as a simple breaking and entering job turned into something way, way much more and Petrosky and Jackson are soon pulled deep into the dark and dangerous criminal world in a case that becomes a bit too close to home for comfort. It totally amazes me how an author can write such an intricate and involved plot without losing the plot, so to speak. I’m totally in awe of authors who can do this and keep the reader engaged throughout and Meghan O’Flynn certainly does that with Witness.
If you love crime or psychological thrillers look no further this series is for you
If you have not read any of the Ash Park Series, I recommend reading the previous books to get the full enjoyment from this series. Meghan O’Flynn is one of my go to authors when I am looking for a great thriller to read. She pulls me into the story from the first page until the last word. The plot-line has a fast pace to it, but I caution you to be aware of everything going on so you do not miss something. I have to admit that I do go back and reread a page because I thought I had missed something. Her attention to detail is another reason I love reading her books. Now we can talk about characters. Detective Petrosky has stolen my heart. He is a wonderful book boyfriend. I always feel like I am with him and I do scream at him from time to time. He took this call because it was going to be a simple burglary. Nothing Petrosky ever does is simple. This case is shaping up to be quite a doozy. I highly recommend this book to see if Petrosky will make it through this case.
Witness An Ash Park Novel Volume 9 By Meghan O'Flynn ☆☆☆☆☆ This is a full length thrilling crime story. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, it is that good. Not for those under 18 due to the adult theme. While this is a standalone, I recommend you read the others in order. Detective Petrosky is back and with him comes a story of epic twist and turns. As a detective he has seen more than his share of awful crimes. To date after 9 books I have to say this is by far the most tense of them all. Family secrets can come back at you, and most times it is not what you expected. Spoilers here, I can't give anything away.
Meghan O'Flynn has done it again. I was on the edge of my seat with this story. Her writing skills are impeccable. So clear and to the point. It is scary to think the thought she has put into words. I love this story, it was non stop action. The characters follow each book, that is why it is good to read books before this one. Meghan O'Flynn thank you for another exciting rollercoaster ride. Well Done!
Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O’Flynn
4-stars
Witness is the ninth book in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series, a series that I would recommend reading in order as each new book sort of follows the last.
From book 1 I was hooked by this storyline and the incredible characters, this author has managed to create a whole dark, deceiving, traumatic, evil and mysterious world with characters that feel so real and relatable. Though I can’t relate to the crimes I can absolutely relate to these complex characters, I have felt invested in their lives for so long and with each new book I feel more connected. I have loved following along with each of their journeys and seeing how they’ve evolved and changed as characters.
These storylines always have me sitting on the edge of my seat trying to piece everything together, with zero success most of the time. I’m always entertained which make these books a must read! I look forward to reading more from this author and this series asap.
I am so completely invested in this series! It just keeps getting better and better. Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. This story has Detective Edward Petrosky scratching his head. With a typical burglary that turned into a giant mystery when he shows up to the crime scene and finds way too much blood for his liking. There is also questionability about the woman that fled the scene. She was supposedly killed 10 years prior in a fire. He also discovers that his surrogate daughter is at the center of all of this. Once again I am completely enraptured by this novel. I absolutely love Detective Petrosky and this series. There are always so many twists and turns that I have no idea what is going to come up next. This book will have you at the edge of your seat wanting to know what is going to come next. You can’t and will not put this book down! As I always say with series, start from book one. However, you can read this without doing that. I can’t wait to see what Ms. O’Flynn has in store for the next book!
Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) by Meghan O’Flynn - Review by Gail Guerrero
Five Stars
I have been reading books by Meghan O’Flynn for a while now and can honestly say I’m still creeped out. Every story crawls under my skin and lives there. I can’t seem to stop reading the stories either. The details laid out perfectly. The plot full of twist, dips, dives and corners you lose what way is up and what way is down. One moment you feel you have an understanding and something happens to change the game. I got chills just thinking about this story. This is book 9 and not once has the author disappointed. Detective Petrosky’s character has been through the ringer and yet he is still fighting. He has faced so many tragedies I am honestly surprised he is still fighting. This story brings his dead partner back onto the sense and it’s a big mess. I was scared and excited for this story. I can’t get enough even though it freaks me out.
Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O’Flynn 5 out of 5 Stars The pulp fiction, crime thriller books that O’Flynn keeps writing, is nothing short of impressive. This is book 9 in the Ash Park series and hot dang what a series. This series is most defiantly a series order read. Meaning you need to start a book 1 and work your way to this book to get the best out of this book. We are back with Detective Edward Petrosky. This man is his own type of messed up. He has seen some terrors and has lived to tell the tale. It’s like the bad luck just wants to hang around and follow him. So when he gets the simple B&E, he thinks this one will be easier, however, it is far from it. Mix in his adopted family, the crazy neighbors and a faked death….does this mean…murder? This book will keep you on your toes and you will keep flipping the pages for more. 5 out of 5 stars. Recommended for lovers of crime drama, thrillers, mystery and suspense.
Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O'Flynn 4 Stars!!!!
Another trip into the drama and intrigue of Meghan O'Flynn and I was one again sucked in and pitted at the edge of my seat. This is not my go to genre but it was a nice escape down the drama filled road of Detective Petrosky. The characters just jump off of the pages and come to life as the book unfolds. I was not able to put this book down even though I knew it would go dark.
Petrosky is very much haunted by the demons of his past and the author has a good way of bringing this all up and into the present to make the story both dark and intriguing. I find that the twists and turns of this book keep you glued to the pages and I for one could not wait to see how it would all turn out. I like how the author keeps your attention and how the story goes just dark enough but doesn't cross into too dark. I will definitly read more from this author.
Witness (An Ash Park Novel Volume 9) By Meghan O’Flynn Witness is the ninth installment in the Ash Parker series by Meghan O’Flynn. Just when you think a series can get no better out comes another book that seems to top all the previous books. While I feel that this series can be read as a stand alone I would really recommend that you begin with book one to get a good on the authors writing style. Which to me is perfect. You can forget it if you think that this book will be slow paced its nothing but fast. Just when you think you have worked something out, another twist is thrown into the story line. You will find lots of twists and turns and its also action packed. I love this series and I am pretty sure that you will to. So, if you have read other books in this series you really need to read this one, and if you haven’t read any of them, then you really need to. You will enjoy Meghan’s writing style.
Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) by Meghan O’Flynn. This book is amazing. Each book gets better and better. Every time I read Meghan O'Flynn I have a new favorite. I'll just say be prepared to stay up or stay put until the last page is turned because this one will not let go. This is the continuing story of Detective Edward Petrosky and his crazy life. He is still a mess but he is still amazing at his job. In this book we meet his partner Jackson and as we all know from the previous books Petrosky is a recovering alcoholic. When times are rough for him they are rough. When just a normal run of the mill breaking and entering is given to him of course its never that simple with Petrosky. This b&e leads him and his partner down a dark alley full of some of the baddest criminals he's seen. There is evil at every turn but with Petrosky on the case my money is on him! Read this amazing dark mystery. I know you will love it!
Witness is another psychological thriller in the Ash Park series by Meghan O'Flynn. This book is like a Law and Order SVU episode. If you like criminal mystery books, this is the series for you. There is SO MUCH going on, its like they fell into a rabbit hole. Each level of the case that unfolds, grows deeper and deeper. It is action packed and keeps the reader hooked and wanting to know how it ends. It is written with so much vivid detail, that we can envision the characters and the story. I think this book could be read without reading the rest of the series. I have only read a couple, but I enjoy them. There is enough detail given on Petrosky's past so we know the gist of what is going on. I was disappointed to see how much of a mess he is in this book, and to be honest, it got kind of old to hear about how much he wanted the next drink. But I guess it goes to show us how affected he is by his job and the pain from his past.
Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O'Flynn was a thrilling 5 star read.
You get pulled right in from the beginning at a crime scene. When Petrosky learns who’s home they are at, things seem a little off with his story. This is a dangerous man that Petrosky has dealt with previously. As they start to investigate further we get so many twists and turns you feel like your one of the detectives.
Will they solve the mystery? Was someone killed at the home?
Overall this was a great read. I really like all of the characters, they add a great element to the story. The author does a great job with her writing and you feel like you are right there with the characters. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading the series so that you can get to know the character better. I really enjoy books that keep you guessing until the end and this one didn’t disappoint. If you're looking for a great thrilling, suspenseful full read 1-click and get started today.

Witness by Meghan O’Flynn is the ninth book in the Ash Park series, I am always so excited to get back to this series as each one always delivers a fantastic story they completely captures my attention. Full credit has to be given to this author as not many people can successfully keep a series going for this number of books and yet Meghan seems to do it with ease. This book is yet another brilliant addition to such a strong series. I love getting back into the lives of the main characters and seeing what else is going to happen. This book is every bit as action packed and intriguing as the rest in the series. I was pulled out n right from the start and had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. This is the kind of book that you have to read all in one go. This is one of those series that I just never get bored of and I am already excited as to what might come next.
5 Stars Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) by Meghan O’Flynn
Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. This is a psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat trying to piece everything together. If you are a fan of this genre then I highly recommend reading this whole series in order,if you haven’t started this series yet I would recommend starting at the beginning. With each new book I think how can this author outdo the previous and yet she does. Holy Cow what a suspense-filled ride this book takes you on. Petrosky is back and at it again along with his partner Regina Jackson. These two are trying to solve the mystery and let me tell you there’s a lot going on in this book . I highly recommend reading reading to find out what happens next. I can’t hardly wait for more from this Author.
I thought this was a really intriguing book. I have enjoyed this entire series, but I think this was actually my favorite book.
Although the storyline itself was a little convoluted, it was intriguing and kept me on my toes. This book makes you think and keeps you wondering what is going on all the way to the last page.
I also enjoyed that we get to see an even deeper level of Petrosky and his demons. The realness and vulnerability that we see in him make his character so relatable. Even though he struggles with many issues, he is a character you can root for. He is full of snark, sarcasm, and knowledge because he knows things.
Overall, you can't go wrong with this series because every book will evoke something inside you; you just never know what it might be.
This is hands down one of my all time favorite crime thriller series that I have ever read. I have followed and read all the previous books of the Ash Park Series at least twice, so when I saw book nine, Witness was available I may have just cancelled the whole night so I could disappear into this read. I would personally recommend that you read the books in order as we have recurring characters that are amazing and have growth throughout so it would make your reading a bit more enjoyable. Witness it one amazing and twisty read that will have you second guessing everything as you go. I won’t divulge one bit of this great read other than the author has already shared in blurbs, but take it from me this is one you do not want to miss and will want to clear your schedule to devour!
Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) By Meghan O’Flynn 5 stars
Another gripping 5 star read from this talented author! She never fails to have me on the edge of my seat with her Ash Park series and Witness (the ninth book) was no exception. The storyline for this book was complex and engaging, I definitely found myself wanting to keep those pages turning to find out what was going to happen. I have loved following Petrosky as he tries to solve crimes but this one had me glued from the very beginning and I think is certainly one of my favourites from the series. I am really looking forward to more from this author and I highly recommend this series – the books can be read on their own but I would recommend that they are read in order!
