Grim

I screwed up, and boy did I screw up in a big way. I always tell people not to go for a ride when they’re pissed. Combine the anger with the slick roads and heavy rain. That’s what landed me in the hospital. Though, I was lucky. They told me the only thing I’d need to do is go for a few weeks of physical therapy and adjustments with a chiropractor.

That’s where I met Natalie Benet.

She was the friendly face in the front. The one who chats with all the patients, gets to know them, and makes them feel as comfortable as they can even in their most painful moments. While her encouraging words pissed me off at first, I learned to appreciate her support.

She was just a woman who showed me kindness. Maybe even more than I deserved. I was out with Axel one night at a bar in town and heard this asshole chatting with his buddies, talking about his bitch of a wife. It didn’t take me long until he said her name along with a few other details that confirmed it was the Natalie I see every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

He joked about beating her up like a rat dog again. He laughed with his buddies about turning her face black and blue to the point she wouldn’t be able to work for a week.

One thing’s for certain-- he’ll scream for mercy when I tear every tooth out of his fuckin’ mouth for layin’ a hand on her.

This book will grab you right from the start and won't let go till the very end. It heartbreaking, emotional, sweet and edgy and won't leave you disappointed. These two will have you on the edge of your seat wanting to find out everything and will everything work out. Can one of them learn to trust when trust is broken and they find the attraction might be more? Another phenomenal read by her. She definitely knows how to keep you coming back for more and more.

Grim: Reapers MC#13 by Elizabeth Knox is another great addition to this amazing series.filled with these larger than life sexy alpha bikers who will immerse you into their world made up of brotherhood, loyalty and love. We begin with Grim at the hospital, recovering from his accident and still fighting his feelings for Shi after their breakup, but most of all the ongoing rift between his brothers Axel and Zorro. Grim has a big heart and protective of the ones he loves especially his younger sister who arrives home but her actions at the clubhouse is making Grim crazy. When he learns what happened to her at college and the society she was inducted into, he along with his brother Axel and Zorro are planning to find these men and make them pay. Natalie a young mother of three from Scotland escapes from her abusive husband and goes to live in Montana to be near her parents. When Grim is told he needs to go to a chiropractor for treatments from his injury, he stops at the cafe and runs into this beauty, seeing that she is having an off day he buys her breakfast. Unknown to both of them Natalie works at the doctor's office and these two have a physical attraction towards each other, and they begin a relationship of honesty and passion that is fast and intense. Love the camaraderie between Grim and Natalie's girls, Grim has so much love to give and loves children as the pain he feels about losing his baby daughter is with him everyday. Now Grim will introduce Natalie to his brothers and ol' ladies when he offers her a job to cook for the club on the weekends. For once Natalie can let her guard down and welcomes the new friends she has made, but their relationship may be short lived. Natalie's ex has arrives in Montana to make her pay for leaving him but when he hurts his younger daughter Grim and his brothers happen to witness it all. Can Grim end this threat or will his actions strain this new found love? Now Zane, Pres. of the Reapers MC and his men will take care of the problem in order for Grim's relationship not be tainted by the outcome. This story was more about love, honesty and forgiveness than drama that surrounds the MC and the new life and family that Grim and Natalie are building on. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. But a new threat maybe in the future as Grim, Axel and Zorro are on a mission to find the men who hurt his sister. Can't wait for the next installment.

I absolutely loved this book! Natalie moves to America with her daughters, to get away from her abusive husband. Grim has recently had a motorcycle accident and Natalie meets him when he comes to the chiropractors office where she works. The attraction and chemistry between is undeniable. Natalie and Grim were perfect together. This book is emotional and such a wonderful story and one I highly recommend to everyone.

A lot can be been said and has been about Grim and Natalie's story. It is an emotional engaging read that will melt the heart. It is also gritty, filled with action, drama, and has those sweet moments that always sneak in to give readers that aha moment. Elizabeth Knox delivers stories that are captivating, engaging, and keeps the pages turning, leading to the couple's HEA. Grim may be one of my favorites in the Reapers MC stories, but each time I read a Reaper's story, I think the same thing. ** I was gifted "Grim" via Booksprout and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading** 5 Stars!

As they get to know each other, Natalie tells Grim why she is in the US and Grim is even more protective of of her and the girls but the ex has come to the US to take back what he lost. Will Grim be able to keep Natalie and her girls safe and out of the reaches of a man who didn't know how to cherish what he had?

I absolutely loved this book. I think it might be a fave! It is such a great addition to the Reapers MC. They hare some cross over and more clues to what is coming up with the iron Vex MC and Boss. Can’t wait for some of the books that are coming up!! Elizabeth Knox has become one of my favorite authors. I know some people doing like the cliffhanger ending but this is a series that would definitely be way too long for one book. Grim (the book) answered a lot of question from previous books and inspires even more questions! I absolutely loved all of the quotes in the beginning of each chapter. One of my faves is the one that I attached. I actually have three that I saved so I would not forget the,. Back to Grim. Grim and Natalie have been through their own nightmare and both have come out stronger for it. I loved them both and was definitely cheering them on to finding their HEA. In the beginning of the book Zane finally admitted to his club that he is a bisexual and that although Octavia’s soon to be born son is not his biologically that it is and will be Zane’s son. I am so glad that he was open about his preference of partners and that they had asked someone (not going to name him cause if you read Zane you know who it is) to be their third. I still think that he needs to get his head out of his a** and man up and state who he is instead of hiding. I really hope he has a story and coming out soon. Anyway, I won’t got into too much detail as I am skating dangerously in spoiler territory as it is but I will say that if you read this book you will not be disappointed.

One of my favorite things about Liz's writing is that each of her books is a little bit different. In some of the past Reapers books we had a LOT of violence. Although there was some in this, she gave us a lot of everything I love in MC books!

Right out the gate we got a super juicy smack in the face with a super interesting tidbit tying in a previous book!! When I read this I INSTANTLY messaged Liz and was like OH. MY. GOD!!! THESE moments made this book so amazing!! Because trust me, we had a few! With the twists and turns in this book we were left craving nothing, but more from Grim and Natalie! I also loved the added bonuses that we got with Natalie too. From her past, to her present, to where she's from and her awesome parents. She was the whole package! She truly brought out the best in Grim. He was not at all who I expected him to be, and that element of surprise was one of the best!

Another favorite thing when it comes how Liz writes is how she ties her books together. We got to see a few people from another series in this book and it was so epic!!! Her book world is one big, dysfunctional family and I love that so much! But even more, we constantly get to learn more about the Reapers. We got to see the families of the members and we got to see both clubs grow. I am super thankful for that!! We get so invested in these characters and this club, that you start to crave these things. And Liz really knows how to feed a craving!

WIthout giving too much away, this is definitely one of my favorites so far this year! This is also giving me a good taste of what is to come from the Reapers but also some other series of hers! I cannot wait for more!!

👺👺ONE ACTION PACKED TREAT👺👺
Holy hellions! Elizabeth rained down hell, riding full throttle with a vengeance, blasting the gates of purgatory wide open, raising the stakes and keeping it real, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. One action packed, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, nail-biting bombshell, catapulting this jewel to a whole new realm. Traversing through a minefield of deadly peril, maneuvering through the manipulations and dark machinations and malicious intent, propelling this gem to life flawlessly. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, clocking the taxing trials and challenging tribulations, noting the deadly twists and shocking turns and sharp lines, putting our characters through their paces, catapulting this gem into the eye of the storm, shifting it into overdrive with a life changing realization. Lines blur and boundaries crossed, limitations are exploited and amplified, shifting this baby into overdrive, slamming it into a tizzy with an astonishing realization. The raw magnetism, undeniable attraction and sizzling chemistry collides with such intensity, drawing you deeper until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add diversity, transforming into genuine charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline explode. Fantastic job Elizabeth, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Grim's blurb is a summary of the book, and I feel like I got what the blurb offered, so I have no room to complain.

Natalie and her daughters, Aggie, Davina, and Sorcha, have started new lives in Montana after her husband horribly attacked Natalie. It's not been a smooth restart for the ladies, and there is dissension in the ranks because Davina doesn't believe her daddy did the things that her sister and mother say he did. She wants her mom to get over her drama and forgive him to be a family again.

Enter Grim and the--you know what I don't know the MC wow that isn't a good sign--The Reapers MC, a series Elizabeth Knox is into 13 books deep. Grim meets Natalie and takes a fancy to her. He asks her out, and it's a bit of an insta-love situation. The two quickly romance one another, and suddenly the book is over, and we are enjoying a HEA. It's a fast read.

Triggers are here: domestic abuse, sexual abuse, violence. It's a gritty underworld, so don't be dumb, expect bad things to happen. And there are references to sexual menage relationships, sexual fluidity, and sexual zero effs given. I want to read more about Ruby, but I don't know if I care a lot more about the series. I'm really on the fence. The price one pays to come into a series so late.

I recommend this for fans of MC books.

Natalie was from Scotland, having fled that country for the US and her parents in Montana, along with her three daughters to get away from her abusive husband. She is trying to make it on her own, working as the scheduler and office person for a busy Chiropractor's office. Grim was not in a good mood one snowy evening and ended up in a wreck on his motorcycle, having to listen to some of his buddies rib him while waiting to be discharged from the hospital, then finding his sister was there from New York....On getting out of hospital he still had back problems, some pain and residual soreness so went to Chiropractor recommended at the hospital, meeting Natalie at coffee shop next door to doctor's office where she spilled coffee on him...the doctor was an old friend of his...but he really likes Natalie and when she brings him his back brace, TINS machine and cold spray to the clubhouse, he reminds her of their date...but she can't help but wonder about him as she interrupted a talk between Grim and Rosa, she told him about her feelings for him that he didn't reciprocate...so after her parents visit unannounced and meet Grim at coffee shop he is ready to meet the girls, saying he better not ever meet her not-quite-divorced-from husband...but you will need to read this fast-paced story of Grim and Natalie to see what happens...

When we meet Natalie, she's going through the ringer with her "husband" and his callous treatment of his family during the Christmas season. He ruins Christmas and Natalie pays the price. When we see Grim, he's in bad shape and Shiloh has re-appeared. If you've read the previous books, you know that Shiloh broke Grim's heart. By the way, I wish that chick would fall off the book planet. Go away already! Goodness. Back to Grim and Natalie.

While I usually try to explain what happens in the books, it's probably better that you read it. If you've followed the entire series, it builds on the previous books. It's hard to explain to people that haven't read the series. Sure, you can read Grim's story and try to muddle your way around the story line. However, do yourself a favor and read the story. This will avoid frustration, aggravation, and reviews by people that haven't read everything. This story line is complex in ways because Grim is a member of an MC. However, the story lines between the characters is wonderful---whether you like them or not.

As always, I received an ARC from Booksprout to read and leave an honest review. I purchased this book to add to my collection because this is a fantastic series.

I have waited for this book for some time now! Elizabeth does not disappoint with relaying how this MC works. Yes a LOT of questions are answered and more questions appear. The one thing that is book will do for you is captivate you. It is entrancing and engaging. It is one of the best books in the series! If you have not caught on just yet to this series NOW. IS. THE. TIME. It is imperative that you read this series in order as there are multiple narratives going on at once and it continues throughout all the books. Yes you get a different couple with every book but Miss Knox was smart to encompass the whole MC and then some within each book. Yes it is gritty, yes it is dirty and at the best of times raw abrasiveness will shadow you, but who wants a clean and nice MC? NOT. ME! Grimm is obtrusive at his best times and at his worst well you are just going to have to read the book! Natalie is resolved to just trying to live day to day without the horrors she has faced. I will tell you this, this is not the end. Get the Reapers MC NOW! LOVE THIS AUTHOR AND HER CREATIVE WORLD she has BLESSED us with!

I absolutely love this series and I have to say it is probably one of if not the best MC series around at the moment but I would advise that you read the entire series in order because here is plenty of back story that you need to get the most out of this latest book

Grimm knows he did a stupid thing by riding his bike when he had been drinking and he suffered the consequences been laid up in hospital but now he is out and only has to go to the Physio three times a week There he meets Natalie she is the woman on the front desk the one that keeps everyone's moral up the encourager. The one night when Grimm is out drinking with friends he hears a no hope man talking about beating his wife up again making her unable to work it doesn't take him long to realise this loser is talking about Natalie the woman from physio Grim may be MC but there is no way he will allow any man to beat on a woman especially one he may be starting to have feelings for Soon he will have Natalie and her three daughters under his protection and he knows that she has his heart but can they have a future. You will have to read to see

I love an MC book where the hero is a “take charge” do things his way kind of guy, yet has a Huge protective side when it comes to what he considers his. Grim has this in spades. Be it involving his sister, his club brothers or the women in his life, Grim doesn’t take no for an answer when it comes to doing what “he” thinks is best for them.

The author has written a very emotional yet exciting storyline. Grim has been hurt in the past and has pretty much hardened his heart to ever letting another woman get too close but when he meets the feisty nurse, Natalie, at his doc’s office all bets are off. Natalie has run to Montana with her three girls to get away from her abusive spouse. Is she ready to take a chance on a man like Grim? Will she and her girls fit in with club life? What about her abusive husband?

This is a great MC Romance intermingled with thrilling and exciting club and family drama. Grim is a great addition to the series. A Book and Series that this reader Highly Recommends.

From the moment you start the book until the end you are on the edge of your seat, captivated. As you open the book, your emotions are all over the place as Natalie is trying to survive her abusive husband, she leaves and goes to Montana with her daughters Aggie, Davina, and Sorcha to be with her parents. She gets a job at the chiropractor where she later gets to know Grim better as he is receiving treatments there. She first meets Grim in the coffee shop next door where she spills coffee on him and gets breakfast and a date out of the event. Both Grim and Natalie come with emotional baggage from their ex’s. Grim lost her daughter earlier on in life and dotes on Natalie’s daughters. Grim, the huge biker with the soft heart and protective instinct is definitely swoon worthy. The book has Action, suspense, drama, club business, some cheer worthy moments when Natalie’s ex show up and is taken to task and an underlying plot that will continue. Great plot development, characters and HEA, a must read.

This story is number 13 in a series and can be read as a standalone. To really appreciate the nuances of the plot and supporting cast it helps to have read the other books. Grim is a member of an MC so there’s brotherly relationships, multiple partners, politics, violence, loyalty and the baggage that comes with life. Natalie is starting over in a new country with her daughters after leaving her abusive husband. Grim is recovering from an injury and heartbreak when he meets Natalie and pursues her. Is she ready to try again? This story has realistic situations and conversations - especially when Grim is interacting with Natalie’s children. I like the multilayered characters, the author really brings each individual to life. I was pulled into this intriguing, tender, sizzling and thoughtful romance. The main couple finds healing but there are other issues that are pending so this story will be continued and I can’t wait! Raw, realistic and honest. 5 stars

OMG! I absolutely loved Grim and Natalie. Grim’s been through the ringer emotionally with Shiloh, and so has Natalie with her abusive husband. These two have been dealt a crappy hand in the love department, but Grim is hoping to change that and soon.

Natalie literally runs into Grim in a coffee shop on her way to her car to get money to pay for breakfast only to find out that the nice gentleman paid for it. Little did Grim know that the good deed he did was for the gorgeous woman at the front desk of his chiropractors office. Spending time together makes Natalie realize that she hasn’t been living and needs to start and wants to try with Grim. He’s a protector and will protect what’s his and Natalie is his and he will do anything to keep Natalie and her girls especially from her husband. I love how Grim is so gruff but deep down he’s a sweetheart and does what needs to be done. Great read and can’t wait for more! I found this book on BookSprout.

She is his angel and he is her guardian angel

Grim is the thirteenth book in the Reapers MC series and tells the story of Grim and Natalie. All I can say is that Grim is almost the Grim Reaper to one very unlikable man and a Guardian Angel to Natalie. He is protective of her in a way that no other man has ever been and quickly becomes possessive of her also. He is going to make sure that no one, and I mean no one, ever hurts her or her three daughters again in any way. Watch out world as Grim has finally found his angel and he is not letting her go.
This story is fast and packs a lot, and a little, into the story of Grim and Natalie. There is drama, action, romance, instant attraction, family, friends and of course some butt kicking. Oh and don't forget the sexy adult time. This was an enjoyable read and added onto the series.

I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Natalie’s parents moved to Montana from Scotland so after her husband beat her up she took the girls and ran to them. She got a job at the chiropractor. Gram had been in a pretty bad cycle accident lucky he wasn’t dead. They met in the coffee shop next door and he bought her coffee and breakfast. Grim had to go to the chiropractor for the problems he was having since the accident and told her that they were going on a coffee date. Her parents came down to help her with the rent and met Grim when they met Natalie at the coffee shop and loved him. The girls took awhile to get with him and Natalie got a job at the club as cook. Had a little problem with her ex husband to be but Zane took care of it. The girls loved Grim and they were very happy together. Waiting for the next book loved this one!

This Reapers series has me swooning with all the sexy alpha bikers from the beginning and Grim's story is not the exception. I could not put this book down!Loved the relationship between Grim and Natalie plus the girls!!The plot is emotional, bit of humor, drama, action, little suspense and the new and old characters are great. Can Grim and Natalie make it together after their ex's? Can Grim and the club protect Natalie and her girls? Will they live happily ever after? Pick up a copy to find out!!! I laugh and cry reading this book, love the way the author comes up with these characters in a way a reader can connect with them. Waiting for the next book !!

You really cannot go wrong with this series. I love Grim and Natalie!! Grim is a Reaper, however, he has a huge heart. I love this Biker so much. Natalie leaves Scotland and moves to Montana with her three daughters to be close to her parents and to get away from her sadistic husband. This book is so good and it was actually a refreshing change to see two people fall in love with not a ton of drama. Do not get me wrong, there is club business that is definitely dark. However, Grim.and Natalie are just remarkable together. I totally recommend this book!!! Kudos for another great book in a fantastic series!!!

I enjoyed Grim's book and I love that he turned out to be a real sweetie although being a bad a** biker. The book starts out as Grim just had an accident on his bike on a slick road he ends up going to a chiropractor and meets Natalie the receptionist. Natalie left her home in Ireland and came to Montana to be close to her parents after her husband beat her on Christmas day after she confronted him about selling their daughters Christmas presents. We learn that Grim has a terrible loss in his past and that he loves children. He and Natalie get together and he instantly loves her three daughters. Natalie's past is about to catch up to her though, will Grim be able to save her?

Ms. Knox has done an exceptional job with the Reapers MC series and she amazes me how she comes up with fresh ideas for each character. This is an emotional book that was impossible to put down. I really enjoy how characters from past books in the series are intertwined in each book. Book 13 is about Grim and Natalie and her three daughters. Natalie moves to Montana after practically being beaten to death by her husband in Scotland. Grim meets Natalie at the office of the chiropractor where she is the receptionist after he was injured in a motorcycle accident. Can Grim and Natalie help each other heal from the tragedies that have happened in their lives?

Another book by Elizabeth Knox that I love. It's the 13th book in the Reapers series and she doesn't disappoint. Grim meets Natalie at the chiropractor's office when he's told he has to have therapy from his motorcycle accident. There's instant attraction between the two and they start a relationship. It starts out fast and furious and doesn't let up. Natalie is from Scotland and a mom of three girls who escapes to Montana from an abusive ex husband. Her ex tracks her to Montana but is "taken care of" by Grim and the Reapers. There's a new threat in Grim, Axel and Zorro's future when Grim's sister is involved with a secret society in college and they're looking for the person who hurt her. I can't wait for more from the Reapers.

This is the 13th book in this amazing series and this story is a fantastic addition. Grim is in hospital recovering from an accident, which is giving him time to reflect on his life. Natalie is a single mom of 3 who escaped from her abuse ex to live nearer her parents. These two meets in the hospital café and are instantly drawn to each other, and when he introduces her to his club and brothers she is warmly welcomes. When Natalie’s ex comes for revenge, can Grim protect her and her girls? This is a well written tale which is raw, gritty, and with mental and physical abuse, as well as drama, forgiveness, loyalty, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

If you're looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you've found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solid and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Elizabeth Knox did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Grim by Elizabeth Knox!!! This is book 13 in the Reapers MC series. It’s the story of Natalie (Java) and Grim. He’s a member of the Reapers who has had some heartbreak in the past. She’s a single mother with three children who ran from her abusive spouse. Grim is just the PERFECT GUY!!!! He treats her well, says all the right things, and makes her feel safe. Things become intense….

I loved this story soooooooooo much!!! I especially liked how Grim had to explain everything about club life because she’s completely new to all of it. This was an OUTSTANDING story!!!!

Elizabeth Knox does it again. This is the 13th book of the Reapers MC, and they continue to amaze me with their characters and storylines.

Grim takes his bike for a ride when he is upset. Add in the slick roads, and it was a natural disaster. He goes to the doctor. They explain that he will need physical therapy with a chiropractor. That’s where he meets Natalie. At first, he doesn’t like her cheery attitude when she greets everyone. However, he comes to appreciate her.

Natalie is married with three kids. Her husband is abusive. She leaves him after he horribly attacked her. They try to start over, but it isn’t smooth.

LORD HAVE MERCY do I love Grim. He is my new book boyfriend. Liz had me hooked from the beginning to the last page. I love a good MC book but Liz out did herself with this one.

Grim is this all alpha male who doesn't take shizz from anyone. Then he is hurt by an accident and he is in pain. He was told to go to the chiropractor and he finally put his pride aside and did just that. Only he didn't know his life was about to change and he was going to get a great big old surprise. It is there that he meets the secretary Natalie.

There is all kinds of sparks that go off between the two when he asks her to go out to coffee. Only coffee turned out to be more. This is a must read MC book if you love MC Romance because Liz nails it!
