Boss
I’m not a good woman. I’m a lot of things, but that certainly isn’t one of them. I’m as flawed as they come, the daughter of someone who was a good woman, and a monster who sought redemption before he died.
My entire family is dead besides my half-brother, Joker, but that’s another story. Now I’m starting a family of my own with my baby girl, a blessing that came to me at the right time. Destiny’s my angel from above.
I’m the Prez of the Iron Vex MC and we have many wars. Our biggest one with cultists who are determined to continue targeting women, but it isn’t the only war headed my way. Rumor has it, Stoney figured out Destiny is his, and he wants my head on a platter. I won’t let him take her from me, not when I’ve lost so much.
After my father, the infamous Rage died . . . I realized something. Family comes above all else.
Stoney and I hate-fucked, we could never work as a couple. I realized that during my pregnancy when I debated on telling him about her, thought about the what ifs. He’d only do one thing— attempt to take my daughter from me.
We’re allies with the Devils Riot MC, but the drama coming our way threatens everything we’ve built together. And in my most terrifying moment, the man I’ve tried to stay away from comes to back me up. The one I’ve adored from afar, fearful of starting something concrete with. There’s a problem.
He’s a Prez for one of my Canadian charters, and I don’t see either of us giving our role up.
I’m only left wondering this: How far will we go to protect the ones we care about?

Loving Strong Biker Women!!

Boss/Tala is the strong female Prez of the Iron Vex MC after taking over from her father. That woman has brass balls and then some. The one thing that is her weakness is the health and safety of her young daughter, Destiny. Boss didn’t want Stoney to know he was the biological father because she was afraid that she might lose her to the Prez from Virginia. It was Cowboy who was the man there for both her and Destiny. Once Cowboy knew he wasn’t the biological father he was more than good being Destiny’s daddy no matter what.

This book had steam and plenty of twists and turns that made it a one sit read. After having Destiny’s life threatened it brought Stoney and his old lady together with Cowboy and Tala. They would stop at nothing to get rid of this threat always putting Destiny’s well-being first. I can’t wait to see if they little plan is going to pan out for all involved. Looking forward to the next book in this series!!

This is a great continuation of the Iron Vex MC.
Boss and the men i her life will keep you on your toes, either with their alpha ways or with the loving, gentle way they are with Destiny, Boss’ daughter.
I love that this book portrays a strong but vulnerable woman. It shows that as women we can show it all and basically do all, from being strong and tough to being lovable and gentle to our families.

Boss is a tough, no nonsense and independent and good boss of her MC. She has a small daughter and would do everything for her. A great story with twists and turns and a lot of action.

Another great story

I really enjoyed this story, as I do with all of the books by these terrific authors. I have to honestly say that I'm getting a bit concerned about the quality and lengths of the newer released books. It's not that they aren't great stories, but because they seem to keep getting shorter, the stories have begun to bleed into the next one (or more). I don't mind having a secondary plots stretching throughout the series, but I would much rather have a couple's story from beginning to end in one book than to have to keep up with the previous books to remember what happened between them. The other issue is that there seems to be a lot of crossover between the series' of these two authors. It's difficult enough to keep up with one authors stories, but to keep up with the multiple clubs between the two is almost impossible. Especially when the reading list isn't available until the end of the book, when you find out that you should've read other books prior to the one you just completed (which has happened numerous times so far).
I love that the releases are not months apart, but it seems like it's compromising the quality of the stories due to the many commitments that each author has with the numerous different series'.
I don't want anyone to think that I don't enjoy both authors work, because I do. Unfortunately, there's just too much to keep up with- with all of the different clubs, all of the characters in each series, the crossovers between the numerous clubs, and the unresolved situations in each club. I intend to keep trying to read their works, but don't know how much longer that will happen.
I apologize. I was trying to let others know that this is not a series that can be read as stand alone books, as well as the newer released series' by both authors. I really wasn't trying to complain! With the open ended endings of each book, it's really a must that you read the series from the beginning, as well as the previous series' that's related to this one. They're all great stories that I'm sure everyone will enjoy.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and terrific authors.

Elizabeth Knox has done it again. I was so looking forward to this book and when it was here it didn't disappoint. I loved it. Boss (Tala) is still grieving the loss of her father, Rage by a cult. All she has left is her daughter Destiny, who was fathered by Stoney of the Devil's Riot. And her love for the Pres., Cowboy from the Toronto charter. Time has passed with Cowboy still believing that Destiny is his daughter. But Richochet is telling her that he should know that he isn't and who actually is. When he finds out, he walks out on her. He only comes back every few months for club meetings. When Stoney finds out he storms to Queens, NY to confront Boss. He finds Cowboy there and is enraged that Destiny calls him daddy. They're still on the lookout for the cult and its leader. Cowboy eventually comes back and tells her he loves her and is willing to give up his Presidency to be with her full time. She gets attacked and raped by Spark, the Pres of the Dragon's Fury who's coming after Stoney and Destiny. When Stoney finds out about this, he and Rachel come to NY and decide that because Boss never had anyone as Destiny's father on her birth certificate, that Cowboy's name and his DNA should be entered on it. This way maybe Spark will loose interest. Although the book wasn't as long as I liked, it had lots of action, romance and a can't wait for the next book. A must read.

Bossed up by Elizabeth Knox was a fast paced emotional short story starting with Boss having her daughter Destiny by Stoney. Cowboy who has had an on again off again affair with Boss thinks that Destiny is his. When Cowboy returns to the Iron Vex MC clubhouse as he is so attached to Destiny and she misses her daddy, now decisions will be made that will shatter him. Boss knowing she must do the right thing, confesses that Stoney is the father to Cowboy and that she is afraid if he finds out he will take Destiny from her. Cowboy is so upset with her lying as he was led to believe that the little girl he has come to love is his. Now when he learns the truth from a broken Boss, he lashes out at her and walks away from her. Things soon take a turn when Cowboy returns for Destiny's birthday, this little girl is so full of love that she thinks Cowboy is her father and the bond these two have is one that can not be broken, as this little girl has a way of touching everyone around her. Now Cowboy finds that in order for him to stay in his daughter's life he and Boss have to come to terms. Once these two come together, their reunion is hot and explosive, as all of the hurt feelings could not stop the longing that these two have for each other for years and at last they both admit how much they love each other . For all of Boss's tough side, you see that this strong beautiful woman who has lost much in her life has a softer side to her. Cowboy informs Boss that Destiny is his life and without her in it he was willing to end it all. But when Stoney and Horse arrive at the clubhouse, things become explosive . Stoney informs Boss that he knows that Destiny is his and is angry that Boss kept her from him, tensions are at all time high between both clubs especially when Cowboy informs Stoney that Destiny is his. Soon Stoney and Boss will come to an agreement for the sake of their daughter and their alliance that he can have a role in his daughter's life. Now Cowboy will make a decision to leave his role in Calgary as the chapter Pres and make a life with Boss and Destiny when he asks her to marry him. But trouble is surrounding Boss, when she is attacked by Sparks from the Dragons Fire MC and informed that he knows about her and Stoney and if she doesn't form an alliance with his club, he will take her daughter. Now recovering from her attack, Stoney and Rachel come to her with a plan when they learn what happened to her and who is behind it as once again Sparks is out to destroy the Devils Riot MC and now the Iron Vex MC by threatening Destiny. To ensure that Destiny will not be harmed by Sparks, the plan that is put together will have both couples forming a bond of a selfless act of love that will protect Destiny as this little girl's family just became larger. Will this plan work? Will both Boss and Stoney be able to to take Sparks down for good. Can't wait for the next book to find out how all of this will play out and who will be put in danger.

Still in the hospital bed after delivery, Tala, President of the Iron Vex MC, assumes Ricochet, her Sgt. at Arms, is trying to convince her to tell Stoney about the baby resulting from their one-night-stand. What he is actually warning her about is that Cowboy -- the Prez of their Calgary, Canada, charter -- thinks baby Destiny is his because of their occasional relationship. Regardless, Ricochet still said Stoney should be here. But Tala would never risk him taking away her child. And with him in Virginia and her in New York, as stubborn as he is, he would definitely try to claim their baby. And the two of them don’t even get along! When Destiny was 3 months old, she finally told Cowboy she wasn’t his child and he left to get away from her.

Cowboy is due back now for an upcoming meeting. And her hostile brother, Joker, will be attending also. Ricochet just came back from a visit to Devil’s Riot MC, where Stoney is from. Destiny always calls him Daddy, and Cowboy never stopped seeing her and celebrating special days with her, despite Tala pushing him away. She went into her office and Ricochet followed, commenting with a chuckle that she loved Cowboy. Then he told her Stoney was on his way and would be arriving here shortly! And she suddenly thought that he must have finally found out about Destiny!

Cowboy took Destiny for a walk to the nearby bakery so they could buy goodies for the club. When they arrived back, two men were in front of them as she called Cowboy “daddy”. Both turned around and he saw Stoney and Horse standing in front of him. Iris took Destiny for a nap and Stoney’s words made it obvious he knew Destiny was his child – and Tala walks up to all of them. How is this epic meeting going to work? Tala will fight tooth and nail for her child. Cowboy will protect Tala and Destiny. And how badly will Stoney react now that he knows he was never told about his child? Will he try to take her as Tala fears? Will the motorcycle clubs be fractured over the fallout from this?

The twists and turns in this story will keep the reader on edge and fully invested in how things will turn out. The characters are all amazing, and the story line is fast-paced and intriguing. Grab your copy and see how this mess can ever be resolved without bloodshed!

Tala or “Boss” is the Prez or president of the Iron Vex MC. By reading both the blurb for the previous book (Enraged) and this one (Bossed up) it looks like Boss’s father ran the club before, then something happened, he died, she took over. I’m intrigued, and may have to go back and possibly read the first one, but it feels like it’s a long prologue of this book?!
I liked this book, I felt there was a few holes in the story (probably from the previous one) and as there are a few chapters (Motorcycle clubs) there is more history to be learnt.
But aside from that, it’s a raw, gritty, hard hitting book. Emotions run high for most it. Boss is still recovering from losing her father, still trying to get a footing with the club, and be the leader she knows she can be. Balancing motherhood is also difficult, but she got the club behind her 100% there are quite a few secondary characters, and I’m invested in them already, I want them all to get a story.
I thought this was going to be some weird love triangle. Then I thought Boss would get with Stoney (the father of her child) but then I saw read the way she was with Cowboy, and then it clicked...
The ending put a smile on my face. But for the rest of the book, it had me gripped.
How she deals with both Cowboy and Stoney is great. How she feels with her clubs as a whole is interesting.
Cowboy is from another club under her rule, Stoney is from a club they’ve made an alliance with. She sleeps with who she wants, but a mistake makes her a mother, Cowboy is ready to step up and claim both Tala and Destiny, but Tala isn’t, so he walks away......
It’s a short and intense story, it’s not instant love either as both Boss and Cowboy/Stoney already have a history. It’s violent, it’s gritty, and it’s raw! But the one thing I loved most about the book, Destiny and the reaction/emotions she pulled from her mother and all those around her.
Can Cowboy and Tala become the family unit they both crave? Or will Stoney come in and squash their hopes and dreams of being a family?

Next book please ......

What wouldn't they do for the sweetest little girl

Bossed Up is the second book in the Iron Vex MC and is about Boss and Cowboy. Boss is the President of the the Iron Vex MC. Stoney is the President of the Devil's Riot MC. In Alluring Alliance you read about Boss and Stoney forming more than an alliance which results with Boss becoming pregnant and has a daughter, Destiny. But she does not tell Stoney about his daughter and instead leads Cowboy to believe that she is his daughter. Boss and Cowboy have had an on-again off-again relationship so it was not a lot for Cowboy to believe that the beautiful and sweet little girl is his. He bonds with her and almost instantly falls in love with her, after all he is her dad and will now do anything to keep her safe. So things get complicated when Cowboy discovers that Destiny is not actually his daughter but is Stoney's. Then things get even more complicated when Stoney shows up and tells Boss that he knows Destiny is his daughter. But it just keeps getting even more complicated and the story takes more exciting and intense twists and turns....but you will have to read it to know. Suffice it to say that by the end you have been taken on quite a fast and intense ride with a lot of head spinning happening along the way.
This is a fun and very entertaining story. The characters are great, even as you want to kick a few in the butt because of their decisions. The next book is set-up to be even more exciting in this continuing story-line.

Boss's daughter gets to have a Daddy and a Father!
by sewsummore

Tala was President of the IronVex MC Club, but most members call her Boss. It was one of the few MC Clubs that allowed female prospects, and many of the members were females. Three years prior, Boss gave birth to a daughter named Destiny. Most of the members believed that Cowboy, President of the Calgary charter, was the father, even Destiny called him dad, and although they lived in different cities, Cowboy was there via skype to read to her each night was there on all her special days. When the birth father learned of the deception, it was time to make some changes. Stoney was a National Charter president of an allied club, he was not happy, but eventually, a compromise was reached that suited them both. For years Cowboy had let his anger about her deception keep him from Boss's side. However, when she was threatened, he decided to step down and transfer to Boss's club. He may not have been Destiny's biological father, but he loved her like she was his own, and he loved her mother a well. Although Stoney had never wanted to father a child, this book was an emotional read, and he was angry at Tala's deception. The agreement they worked out between them made their alliance stronger, and Destiny's life would be the richer for having both a Daddy and a Father.

Quick read. I’m used to longer books, so this had an “insta love” feel even though Boss & Cowboy obviously have a past. Even though Boss is the President of the club and used to having power, this story shows she isn’t perfect and makes mistakes... but she owns them and tries to be better. I LOVE Cowboy. He’s obviously a tough biker, but he shows a softer side that makes him irresistible! The two have a great chemistry, and I like that they pull each other’s walls down. We see and learn more about other characters which I think will set up future books, they definitely hold your attention. I know this is an MC book which means you know there is going to be violence (it comes with the territory).. without giving spoilers I do have to give a warning that a scene turns violent and I so did not see it coming. It is very in your face, hard to read, and comes almost out of nowhere. Letting the scene sink in, I don’t think it’s gratuitous, it’s a necessary evil because sometimes real life sucks. The life of 1%-ers is usually violent, social norms go out the window. So, while it was hard to read, I think the scene sets events in motion for the next books in the series. I liked the book, and if MC books are your thing you’ll enjoy it, if violence bothers you I’d skip it.

I Love this exciting series revolving around the Prez of the club, Tala, AKA: Boss. Bossed Up starts up right as the prior book left off. She has just lost her father and has her baby girl, Destiny. The author has done an outstanding job with the storyline. It’s full of sass, troubles, action and truths.

In this book we get to know both sides of the Club Prez - Boss. The woman who is tough as nails and runs the Iron Vex MC as well as her softer side when she can let herself just be Tala. Most people see her as a tough, takes no lip independent woman. But there are two men that see through to the woman who fights many struggles: Ricochet, her best friend / VP of the club and Cowboy, the man she secretly loves who is the Prez of the MC Chapter in Canada. The storyline is full of surprises and truths come to light. I Highly recommend grabbing it up asap. WHile it can be read as a standalone, I Strongly suggest reading them in order for a Much better reading experience: Enraged, book 1, Alluring Allies, Book 1.5, then Bossed Up. All are excellent reads that I highly recommend grabbing up ASAP. You won’t regret it.

2 Thumbs Up and 5+ Stars

💣💣ONE NERVE RACKING TREAT💣💣
Holy hell hades! Elizabeth cranked this puppy up full throttle, dishing up some cruel tactics, callous lessons and spine tingling choices, keeping you riveted on a razors edge, blasting this hot little number to a whole new level. Caught in a vicious game chocked-full of intense drama, perilous intrigue, brutal assault, damning secrets, spinning danger, swirling suspense and unnerving encounters, along with a boatload of revelations, you have one mind-blowing thrill ride. One action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, nail-biting, spine tingling, block busting, page flipping bombshell, propelling this jewel to life brilliantly. The scorching attraction and combustible chemistry explodes as each layer is peeled back, highlighting incredibly profound emotions and thrilling affections, binding them together beautifully. The characters are authentic, realistic and genuine with depth and qualities that blend into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow smoothly. Remarkable job Elizabeth, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

I love getting to see the Iron Vex MC. Boss/Tala is the Prez of the club and she has always felt like she had to prove herself. She is one strong woman who sometimes forgets that she can show softness. There is nothing wrong with that. Those that are real close to her, they know the real woman behind the hard woman she shows to everyone else. Her one night stand with Stoney, left her with a beautiful gift in the form of a baby girl. This little girl has everyone wrapped around her little finger and I absolutely love her. Destiny is everything to Tala and she keeps her paternity a secret. What happens to secrets, they tend to come out. Cowboy has been in Destiny’s life since the beginning and treats her as his own, even after finding out the truth. He is all alpha and sexy to boot. Can this two stubborn people find a way to make it work with them and have Stoney be in his little girl’s life? You’re just going to have to read to find out. This is filled with lots of feels, and took me on one heck of an emotional ride. I can’t wait to read more from this club, especially my man, Ricochet’s story.

Boss's Iron Vex and Stoneys Devil Riots MC made an alliance to help take out a fascist cult run that had killed Boss's father. They were both hot headed and couldn't stand one another, but one night left Boss pregnant. The Iron Vexs welcomes the new little addition with open arms, Destiny was the only family Boss now had and she will do anything to keep her safe, even hide her from her father. Cowboy is pres of the IV Calgary charter, he and Boss have this unsaid relationship when he is in town and so he hought Destiny was his and when Boss told him the truth he was devastated but vowed to be in Destiny's life even if Boss didnt want him in hers. When Stoney finds out about his daughters existence he demands answers. Will Cowboy and Boss ever be together? Can Boss and Stoney work together to co-parent Destiny and make the right decisions when trouble calls? A well written story, with a great story plot. With romance, tough decisions, secrets and more!

Boss (AKA Tala) of the Iron Vex M/C in Queens NY had a baby girl named Destiny, but never told the real father, Stoney, about her having his child, and let the President of the Calgary Chapter of Iron Vex, Cowboy, believe he was the father until she finally told him the truth and he left his part-time lover, but didn't give up Destiny...He was there for her with daily video chats, and visits at Christmas, Valentine's Day and her birthday...and the child loved her Daddy...although he avoided interacting with Boss for the past two years...although it was clear Destiny had Stoney's eyes, people around her were not supposed to tell him about the child. The VP's of each club handled anything about the mutual hunt for a cult targeting young women to cleanse them of their sins, killing them. But Stoney shows up at her clubhouse with his son Horse to confront Boss about his daughter, but you will need to read this suspenseful tale to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another great book in the Iron Vex MC series by Elizabeth Knox.

I have been waiting for this book for a long time because Boss has been keeping a big secret from Stoney after the last time they hooked up. Boss had a daughter with Stoney and the little girl, Destiny, calls Cowboy, whom Boss had a fling with, Daddy. The usual mayhem follows when Stoney finds out about his daughter and Boss is worried he will take Destiny away from her but she comes up with a solution that makes the both happy. I the meantime Cowboy is devastated to learn that Destiny is not his daughter. He still maintains a relationship with her and eventually Cowboy and Boss end up together. Drama follows an the need for revenge is very strong for Cowboy. Loved all the characters of the MC supported Boss and Destiny and I loved the drama and banter between them all. I am addicted to these books and I cannot wait to read so much more.

A new author for me. This story is the 2nd book in the series. Boss is the President of Iron Vex MC. Boss and Stoney had a one night stand. This results in her being pregnant. Her baby is a little girl named Destiny. Cowboy and Boss have an on and off relationship thinks that Destiny is his. Cowboy is shattered when Boss makes certain decisions, she knows he has to tell Cowboy the truth and admit Stoney is Destiny’s father. Boss,is afraid he might try and take her daughter away from her. Cowboy is so upset she lied to him about being Destiny’s father - he loves her. Cowboy lashes out and walks away from her but when Cowboy returns for Destiny’s birthday, the love this little one has for him, is heartbreaking. Destiny also thinks Cowboy is her daddy. They love each other like father and daughter. Cowboy wants him and Boss to come to some sort of agreement so he can stay in Destiny’s life.

Good add but disappointing in length and storyline

I was excited to finally get to know what happened with Stoney and Boss, their push and pull relationship that led to an alliance. However, this book is not it. It does give some insight into the Boss and her new BF Cowboy. I am surprised this is the Boss’ character she seemed very different in previous books. The storyline felt rushed and lacked details seemingly because it linked to other books. This book, although with crossover from Stoney, didn’t really add up. In this book at least Boss and Stoney came to an agreement about sharing their daughter. The real stick in the story was that Stoney knew about Sparky (the new enemy) and would have forewarned the Boss because Sparky threatened Destiny, amongst many favorite female characters, in Nerd’s book. When the encounter happened Boss seemed unaware and unprepared for this enemy. Why would the Boss go out alone when a threat is issued no one goes out alone, per the MC guidelines.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is another great book that combines the Iron Vex MC and the Devils Riot MC. Tala, aka Boss, has had baby Destiny. She and the father hate each other. Although Stoney from the Devils Riot is the father, Boss lets Cowboy believe that he is. He and Destiny have a really strong father and daughter bond. When he finds out the truth he is beyond devastated. He pushes Boss away but keeps close to Destiny. Stoney arrives to confront Boss and the tangled web closes around her. She is then targeted and attacked. Destiny is unsafe so Cowboy and Stoney must work together to handle the threats to the ones they love. He must also come to terms with his feelings for Tala and what he wants for the future. Boss must recover and come to terms with the man she loves. I always enjoy the MC books that Elizabeth writes. They are gritty, dirty, and filled with strong men and women that find love.

Elizabeth Knox, author, has turned out another great book. Bossed Up is a crossover from Devil Riot MC, DRMC, and Iron Vex MC. This story featured Boss, Cowboy, Stoney, and Rachel. All character mentioned before. I want to say more but I don’t want to spoil Bossed Up for anyone. Let’s just say that it answered some questions and leads into some others that will be followed up in Iron Vex MC. Reads who have followed the series will not be disappointed with the outcome of what happens between everyone. As always, Elizabeth draws you in from the first page and keeps you engrossed to the last even if it is a cliffhanger. I always enjoy Elizabeth’s books as there is always something happening and it’s not all hearts and flowers but situations/events that addresses some darker elements and real life issues. ⚠️Warning⚠️ Bossed Up has some trigger warnings that readers need to be aware of that is in the beginning of the book. Highly recommended. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I do.

Refreshing Take On MC Life

Take a minute and just enjoy that cover 😍 my god 🤤🥰
I’m used to MC books being all about the men. They have men members and club girls. So it was very refreshing reading an MC book were the club had both female and male members. I was reading the book and came across a conversation that included Venom. I was really shocked to find out that she was a girl and not a guy. I think besides Bosses story, that has to be my favorite thing about this series.
Boss is quite literally a boss. She’s so strong and feisty and is not afraid to knock someone out for those she loves.
The only problems I had with this book was that it was kind of shot/fast paced and I would have loved to see more of a growing relationship between Boss and Cowboy. I’m not a fan of really fast paced books, but I have to say, I didn’t mind so much just because I loved Boss as a character.
I think Bossed Up is a really refreshing take on MC life and if you like MC romance books, you really should give this series a shot!

Tala aka Boss is such a badass. But even the Prez of Iron Vex needs a strong man by her side. This book picks up right after Tala loses her father and is welcoming a baby girl. After a one night stand with Stoney, Tala is keeping a huge secret. Cowboy believes Destiny is his daughter and Boss needs to tell him the truth. He’s been her daddy since day one and the truth sends him back to Canada and done with Tala. But Cowboy is back now, the time for good. Destiny is his whole world and he’s ready to give his relationship with Boss another shot.

The chemistry between these two is off the charts HOT!! But it’s only a matter of time before the drama unfolds. Destiny’s life is threatened and in order to keep her safe Boss, Cowboy, Stoney and his girl have to come together and devise a plan. Will it work? Stay tuned....

Boss is the Prez of the Iron Vex MC and she has a history of MC family with her grandfather and father both dead now and her half-brother Joker who hates her. She has a young daughter Destiny that was father by Stony from another MC Club but she never told him because he has older children and does not want any more plus she really does not care for him. Cowboy who is from Canada and the Prez of one of her chapters there is really the man that hold her heart and he thinks he is the father of Destiny but when he finds out that Stony is the father he ends his relationship with Boss. Stony finds out he is the father he comes looking for Boss and he is not happy that she never told him but all along Cowboy still comes to see the sweet girl that calls him daddy. When they finally get everything worked out with Destiny someone from her past comes back to kidnap Boss. There is some twists in this story with the cult they are trying to track down and the family relationship with Destiny.

What can I say? Finally we got a better understanding on Boss. I really hated her when I first read about her and than she helped her father Rage who did so many bad things to Stoney and his club. I can't forgive him for what he's done but I do understand that family has to stay together. This story about Boss and her more softer side is very nice and I can understand her more now. It was a short read but oh so good. It's not your typical Damsel in distress and her knight in shining armor MC read and that what it make it so special. Boss is the BOSS and not only as the Prez. It is more an understanding of her side with what has gone on since she met Stoney than a full MC book. She got her say and made the reader (me) understanding why she is the way she is. Still, she find/accepts there is one special person, except her daughter, who loves her truly and beyond anything.

To get a better understanding I do suggest you read this series in order. Enraged, Alluring Allies (Novella), then Bossed Up.
This is the start of 2 different MCs making an alliance to help destroy a cult that killed Boss's dad and is kidnapping teenage girls.
Boss is the president of the Iron Vex MC and Stoney is the president of the Devil Riots MC. One night after getting together to discuss their alliance they ended up getting together and during this book, Stoney finds out he is the father to Boss's baby girl Destiny.

I have been waiting to get more of Boss's backstory and this book gave us all of that including her love for Cowboy who thought he was the baby daddy.
This series is fast-paced with lots of action and a great storyline throughout the series. Cannot wait to read more of the Iron Vex MC and their crossover with the DRMC.

Boss (Tala) certainly got a surprise after a one night stand with Stoney that brings a new complication to her life that she wasn’t expecting. She never tells him that he’s the father and instead let Cowboy, from the Calgary Chapter, think that Destiny is his. She finally does tell him the truth, and I think that it’s admirable how he keeps a relationship with her daughter. What complicates things is when Stoney storms into her chapter with his son expecting some answers—despite he fact that he shouldn’t know anything about Destiny. With all of this going on, they have a cultivated hunt for the cult that’s harming young girls. Elizabeth Knox always bring on the suspense in her novels and this is no different. Can they find the cult? Can Stoney & Boss have a relationship and be a family?

If you have been reading the series you know that after a Boss and Stoney agree to an alliance they share a few steamy nights. Then they have a bit of a falling out and Boss goes back to NY and later finds out she is pregnant. She doesn't tell Stoney about the baby and Cowboy, the man who thought and wanted to be the daddy left when they have a falling out. Fast forward a few years Stoney learns about Destiny and Cowboy has been the daddy to her that he wanted to be, Stoney and Horse show up at the Iron Vex clubhouse. I really love the way this story is written and the way that they choose to handle being parents to Destiny and as usual there is lots of drama...can't wait to keep reading to find out more about what happens next.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in this MC series, and begins where the last book ended. Boss has her baby, Destiny, who she lets Cowboy believe she's his daughter. When she finally tells Cowboy that Stoney is her father, he has to leave but is always there for Destiny, who he loves. Destiny loves him so much and calls him Daddy. She doesn't want him to ever leave, and he decides he stay there if the Club will accept him. How will Stoney react when he finds out the truth? How will he deal with his daughter calling Cowboy Daddy? Will Boss and Stoney be able to do what's best for Destiny? You'll have to read to see how it all plays out. I read it in one sitting, and can't wait for the next book in this captivating MC series. Patsy Sacco
