Family goof-off and all-around playboy Dante has been tasked with finding the missing branches of the family tree. It's a big tree, but luckily he's a trained investigator. What he finds instead is Geena. Only she doesn’t understand how important she is to him and she’s slipped through his fingers. Now he wants to drop all his responsibilities and track her down.
Geena’s traveling companions are the trifecta of feminine beauty. They are thin, rich, and stylish, so she’s shocked when the hot guy starts hitting on her. What she doesn't know yet is that Dante isn't just a guy. And to him, she’s not just another in a long string of women in his loose past. Dante has seen the mate glow and he knows what it means.
How can he convince Geena that this time he’s serious? And what about all those pesky family members he has to find? The ones who might blow the family lore wide open if he doesn’t get to them first…
The legacy continues with Dangerous, Legatum Book 3
Bio-engineered to be the only redhead in a generation of blonds, Lulu feels that “aliens” may actually be the best answer for a lifetime of being asked, “Where did you get that red hair from?”
Lulu cannot ride a horse, hula hoop, or play roller derby (not from lack of trying), but she can make pictures. Encouraged to make those pictures out of words Lulu began writing just to see what would happen. Words happened, so many words.
Lulu embraces the crazy that comes with that one little genetic mutation and attempts to live up to the reputation of being a redhead.
Dangerous is Hot! Hot! Hot! This is my first introduction to Lulu M. Sylvian, but I can guarantee that it won't be the last! I can't wait to go back and read the first two books in the series, but I don't think I'll ever get enough of Dante—yes, please!
Dangerous is an adventure-ready road-trip romance with crossing paths, a little bit of destiny, and something wild afoot, but it's so much more than just a sexy interlude between Dante and Geena. It's also a story about a woman finding her confidence and her voice and learning how to fight for her own worth in all of her relationships, not just her romantic ones. One of the reasons I loved Geena so much is because she learns how to stand up for herself and to take what she deserves, and I think that's a lesson we could all use.
Dante is on the search for a little of his own personal identity and story, as well, and as he learns about himself and his family, he becomes more secure in who he is and what he wants—and what he wants is Geena.
The fantasy and folklore of this book is unique and exciting, and the characters deliver on every turn. If you're on the search for adventure, steamy romance, and a love story for the legends, Dangerous absolutely has what you need.
Oh yeah! This is my favorite so far! “DANGEROUS” is the 3rd awesome story in the fantastic Legatum series with a fresh plot and a HEA eventually! ... Picture 2 beautiful girlfriends, plus another beautiful, but insecure curvy-girl, on a road trip in an RV! Now add a jealous fiancé and a hot, bad-boy, motorcycle-riding shifter into the mix & you have plenty of surprise twists & turns that will keep readers turning pages like crazy, just like I did! ... Oh and you’ll either love or hate the well-defined characters, as well as the chemistry between the H/h, DANTE & GEENA, is off the charts!... I was actually fortunate to be able to read this thru my Amazon KU, extended trial membership, so yes I can honestly recommend this to all Adult fans of fiction. Now I am headed to go read the next book, #4 in this series :D
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. There were some spots that I had to go back and re-read for clarity. But, with that being said, I have got to get the rest of this series. I absolutely love Dante's cool laid back demeanor. And Geena's way of coming into her own but still dealing with her insecurities. Like I said 'WOW!'. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.
Brooke is a stuck up snob b who thinks all the men want her regardless. Gina is a sweet girl whonjas pit up with Brooke's abuse for to long as well as Hannah's lack of support. They think she is less than because she is not built stick thin or look like a model. Gina is beautiful and kind and just what Dante needs. The ending priceless! I love how Dante thinks of Gina and taking care of her. He's A man every woman needs in their life.
I like the RV aspect of this book because I live in one. Dante was introduced in the first book and he is a big flirt. In this book he finds his happily ever after but not without some trouble. The series is still on the science and looking for relatives which is Dante’s job. Big girls do not always have the smooth road to HEA but it’s nice when they stand up for themselves. Another good read
Great story,I loved all the snarky attitude going on in this book. This series has been really good.It makes reading good when all the books seem to run together. Can't wait to read the next book.
Geena is a sweet full figured woman who is constantly verbally abused by Brooke and dismissed as chubby by all her "friends". When Dante sees Geena he is smitten and even Geena is not able to believe his words and actions.
Beautiful story, I love how the girl was able to read the lies being told and the guy was able to protect her and expose the cheater. Such a wonderfully exhilarating story with a bit of spice and a decent amount of slow-burn as well. happy endings for this couple.
Honestly, if I hadn't read 'Satisfaction, book 7' as an ARC before starting this series from book 1, Dangerous would have been my favorite read thus far.
I loved the camping/travel element, and the adventure before Genna has to find a new job. all of it was adorably romantic and a lot of fun! Then at the mid-end when the plot comes to a head and this handsome stranger has to rush to the rescue (Swoon).
There was also the additional element of Genna and her relationship with her BFF and the crappy cousin. I enjoyed seeing the FMC and how she handled what was going on and supporting her friend, but the crappy cousin (as I call her) seemed a bit too cartoonishly mean girl.
