You might be surprised to know that millions of otherwise ordinary people around the world are currently having some sort of contact with extraterrestrials, but have never told anyone for fear of ridicule-and worse. Lisette Larkins is such an "experiencer" and embodies a brave new voice, poised to spearhead a movement in which others like her finally step forward in greater numbers and share with us what they have learned from these fascinating beings. Daring to confront the accepted "UFO abduction model" in the UFO literature, Larkins instead describes a new paradigm in which the encounter experience takes the initiate on a profound spiritual journey. Despite years of trauma, Larkins made the decision to move beyond victimization and denial, to acceptance and understanding, and then on towards transformation. Confronting our cultural prejudice, she not only describes these extraterrestrials as "enlightened," but decided to become the first reporter for the entire human race by interviewing them, seeking answers to mysteries humans have pondered since the outset of the UFO phenomenon. Why are they here? How and why do they make crop circles? Are they cross-breeding with humans? Lisette Larkins offers us a rare and precious glimpse of one of the most closely held secrets of that many humans are already communicating with extraterrestrials. Come join her and meet our extraterrestrial neighbors who we once called "alien."
Lisette Larkins has had extraordinary paranormal experiences since childhood. Their import was to reveal to her the possibility of a chronic state of well-being. She has published three books about these experiences, but it wasnt until she discovered the work of Eckhart Tolle on being present that a clear path presented itself. She began to apply these principles in her work as a publishing sales director, author, and spiritual guide. Stymied, she was guided in 2007 to take a job as the caregiver of a late-stage Alzheimers patient, an experience that pushed her into a permanent state of presence, and allowed her to formulate the principles expressed in Difficult People."
Author Lisette Larkins wrote in the ‘Author’s Preface’ to this 2002 book, “One night in`1987, I sat up in bed with the eerie feeling that something was not quite right. As a young mother, depressed, and in my third year of an unhappy marriage, I wouldn’t have believed that my life could have gotten any more challenging. But… I was blasted from above by a white funnel of light that … pierced my whole body with a electrical vibration… My life has not been the same since. The mysterious lights and vibrations came visiting almost every evening after that… after almost two years of this chaos, finally in my desperation, and with my then-husband’s encouragement, I admitted myself to a psychiatric hospital. During my short stay there, I lost custody of my son, and … I vowed to get to the bottom of what was coming through the ceiling over my head. By the time my hospital stay ended three weeks later, I had a sense that I wasn’t crazy, but I knew that I needed help. Over the next four months, I regained full custody of my son and I became committed to finding out everything I possibly could about my experiences… So for the next few years, I was counseled by a wonderful therapist who helped me to delve into my lingering trauma. After much testing and evaluation, he assured me that I was psychologically sound… Throughout those first few years, the idea of extraterrestrial encounter phenomena seemed foreign to me and so I did not seriously consider that this was what was occurring, until finally I ‘awoke’ during one encounter to find myself face-to-face with a group of extraterrestrials… Suddenly I understood what I had been experiencing episodes of ‘missing time.’… They seemed to speak from their mind to mine, but the words were as clear as though you were speaking to me across the room. This communication has continued to this day and makes up the content of this book.” (Pg. xi-xiii)
She continues, “I have come to understand that these beings have not ‘abducted/ me, for I have never been kidnapped… For as I… refused to accept the label of victim, I began to tell one person, and then another, about my experiences. Before long, I had formed a small group. I advertised and invited others to come and speak about their encounters… As people came to my group, I learned that there is tremendous shame and embarrassment surrounding this phenomenon… I now recognize that there are many, many of us who are having identical experiences, but few of us feel comfortable talking about them… I now understand that despite the initial trauma related to my early encounters, it did not mean that something bad has happened… But as I no longer chose trauma as my reaction, and as soon as I made that contextual shift… I brought curiosity, wonderment, and most of all, an inquiring mine to this whole phenomenon… I am emotionally free to go to the next step.
“I decided that it would be most interesting to interview these extraterrestrials and to find out things from their perspective. I wish to share some of the communications that I have had, and am having, with enlightened being. They describe themselves as enlightened, and that is in fact my experience of them… Even among UFO buffs, this is not a popular stance. But… I find that I simply feel the heart and soul of them, and resonate strongly with them… Their mentoring over the last fifteen years has helped to transform my life, for if you had known me in 1987, you would not recognize me now as the same woman…
“There is nothing unique or unusual about me… Except for this small matter of talking to extraterrestrials, I’m just like you… I’m really not a new age freak… If I ask anything of you, dear reader, I ask that, as you read this book, you notice how many assumptions you have as to what it, and is not possible… just because you limit yourself as to what experiences are possible, does not in any way limit my own Perhaps that is why I talk to extraterrestrials and you don’t (at the moment)…
“This book declares that extraterrestrials are enlightened beings… So you see, I don’t even have the approval of the UFO crowd… Aside from alienating myself for ‘respectable’ UFO groups, it’s also not easy in social settings when you bring up the ‘E’ word… There’s not a whole lot of dignity in my line of work. There may be more entrenched preconceived, negative assumptions, and stigma associated with UFO phenomena than any field, period…Just who are these extraterrestrials, and why would they want to know us? Or are we just lab rats to them… and periodically being beamed up to be inspected? Here then, is the first of several dialogues that I share with you.” (Pg. xiii-xviii)
She reports being told, “this work is not perfect, nor is it without distortion. But you and others like you bring a high degree of integrity and interest in contributing ideas from other realms. But even though this process is not without the challenges of any other communication, it does not minimize the importance of what you and many others are beginning to experience, which is active associations with us and others like us. The type of communications that you are receiving will also spearhead and expanded movement of published material coming through humans from PHYSICAL being off of Earth.” (Pg. 4)
Why do they contact us? “It is a naturally occurring phenomenon to reach out and love those who are close to us and with who we are one. This is the reason behind our contact with you. We cannot experience our oneness without including you. As so little is known about us, we make this contact with you now in this way, so that more of you can hear from us.” (Pg. 14) She is told, “Your world has expected that, should it have contact with otherworldly beings or extraterrestrials, the day would simply arrive when we land there. But this is not the way the universe works. Before such an abrupt event were to occur, does it not make sense to you that we would first introduce ourselves in a more gradual, less dramatic way?” (Pg. 54)
She asks whether “many experiencers have children living somewhere else, raised by extraterrestrials?” and is told, “Yes. There are offspring of many of you, and those offspring themselves have chosen, through decisions made long before they incarnated, where their interest in soul development lay.” (Pg. 101)
She is told, “‘crop circles’ are … a communication to you, much like this is a communication to you. You are all heading toward a life in which you no longer have a belief that you are all alone on that planet.” (Pg. 123)
Of cattle mutilations, they explain, “The cattle and sheep that you saw during your encounter were hanging there as a result of environmental studies on their deteriorating condition in a general sense… The animals that you saw were no longer alive, but through a process whereby they were no longer physically deteriorating, we were able to continue studying the effects that your environment has had on them… We are anthropologists. We study cultures, and we are very interested in the social sciences.” (Pg. 161-162)
She asks, ‘We’re other people at the same time?” and is told, “There is no such thing as ‘time’ as you describe it, but yes, it is the grand irony. At any given moment, you are more than the ‘you’ reading this right now. There are more of ‘you’ on the planet sharing the same soul…” (Pg. 209)
She concludes, “We envision establishing a nonprofit foundation to further support and make practical ideas and inspiration that all of us have received from our contacts and communications.” (Pg. 217)
This book will appeal to those interested in ‘ET contacts.’
Adam Hilton wrote inside the cover, "I hope you enjoy this book and it lets you look at something you might not have seen or let what you have already seen shine brighter."
