Note: 15 years age-gap. When they met Minato was 14 years old and Naoki was 29 years old. There is nothing sexual (except Minato attempted to blow job Naoki when he was sleeping, but Naoki quickly noticed and stopped the boy). A little bit spoiler: When the 14 years old Minato proclaimed his love for Naoki, he turned him down like a functional-and-liable-adult I hope he is ((—i'm super relieved LMAO)). They reunite 9 years later when Minato is 23 years old and Naoki is 38 years old. That's when the romance truly begins; precisely in volume two!
Hm, I don't really know what to say about this story without completely giving it all away. I will say that I liked it and it's an emotional story about grief and guilt. You see in the beginning that Naoki's hiding something and I feel like if you've read enough you get the idea of what the reveal will be. I liked seeing the comparisons to the past and the relationship building up and also crumbling away a little. This volume did feel like more of a set up though and I'm interested to see how the story will develop with the way this ended.
This is my first time reading Itz-sensei's work, and I found it pretty enjoyable.
I quite like the art style and the way the story is told here. Honestly, I almost stopped reading since it's an age-gap romance, but thankfully, the way the plot developed kept me hooked. All the things I was worried about didn’t happen, and I appreciate that the romance between Minato and Naoki only starts after Minato reaches the legal age.
Me maravilla la delicadeza de itz para crear sus historias a la vez que la capacidad que tiene para transmitir emociones y sentimientos. Me gustan las historias entrelazadas y contadas a través del tiempo.
Such a heartfelt story about a teenager falling inlove with an older man with deep emotional scars. It's short, sweet and sad. It's well written, paced and I was able to connect with the characters easily.
1.5 Stopped after chapter 2. I feel like it would be a good story but whenever I see a age-gap romance and they've met b4 one of them is of age, I get uncomfortable. If they'd have met when both were already adults I would've had no problems
Awww I really like itz sensei’s slow-burn story about a summer fling by the seaside. Volume one is set in 2009, when the two main characters first met.
The seme is a young boy in his last year of middle school, during the summer break he helps out at his family’s hostel by the beach. The seme’s parents know that he is gay but not sure what exactly it meant… He has a pretty face and bouncy hair, his mom treats him like a girl and even gave him cute handkerchief.
The uke is a 29 year old young professional from Tokyo, just taking a few days of holiday and staying at the seme’s hostel. He’s visiting this small town for a secret reason, related to his sad past from high school…
Due to the 15 years age gap, nothing much happened in this volume. Just two guys enjoying the carefree summer days by the beach, their friendship grows as they get to know each other.
The seme admires the uke because he’s a mature adult who studied abroad and works in the big city. The uke treats the seme like a younger brother, nothing out of line.
